Seeing both Mother and Father agree with her, Luna puffed out her chest, looking all proud while mocking at the sa ti. Before I could even reply—still feeling betrayed by them—my thoughts raced. At the very least, they could have supported sowhat. But no, they just had to side with her.
Grinning mischievously, Luna said, "Honestly, big brother, I was expecting sothing grand like Celestara Varethion Peaks… But Endless Mountains? Really?"
I shot back, "But they're almost endless!"
Mother shook her head. "Just because sothing appears endless doesn't an you can just slap 'Endless' onto its na along with 'Mountains,' now does it?"
And then, to make matters worse, my father added the finishing blow. He clapped a hand on my shoulder, still shaking with laughter. "Don't take it too hard, son. Naming things is an art—one that, evidently, still eludes you."
I groaned, clutching my chest as if wounded. "Oh, so now everyone's a naming expert? I'd like to see any of you co up with sothing better!"
Mother smirked. "Gladly. Since the princess has already given a fitting na to the northern mountains, I'll na the southern forest… Hmm. How about Verdant Haven? Or Astral Grove? Sothing with a touch of wonder, a sense of history."
I, having barely recovered from the grave injury caused by their relentless mockery, crossed my arms. "That just sounds pretentious."
Luna leaned in, eyes sparkling with mischief. "Says the guy who tried to na an entire valley Big Green Place before we stopped him."
I clutched my chest again, feeling an arrow pierce anew. Luna only laughed harder at my suffering. I had just recovered, and now I was injured again.
I knew I had completely lost face in this departnt, but I still refused to back down—even though the odds were clearly against . It was one versus three. Still, I surged forward, pretending to be composed.
My face burned. "That was a temporary na!"
"Oh, of course," Luna said, nodding sagely. "Just like Rocky Hills and Water Lake."
Father burst out laughing again, nearly doubling over. "Oh, this is golden." He praised Luna while fully supporting her in mocking , frustrating over and over again.
I had enough of it. If I wasn't good at this and they were, then—fine. I took a deep breath and said…
I threw my hands up, feeling completely cornered.
"Fine! If you're all such geniuses, why don't you na the places yourselves?!"
Luna's eyes lit up instantly. "Ohh, that's a great idea, right, Mom? Dad?" she said, turning to them with a grin.
Mother humd in thought, a teasing smile playing on her lips. "Hmm… indeed, we could na them. But where's the fun in that? If we don't let you do it, we'd miss these hilarious monts, wouldn't we?"
Luna, who had been excited at first, paused, then burst out laughing. "Haha! I almost forgot that, Mom. Thanks for reminding !" She turned to , crossing her arms with a smug expression.
"You heard her, Big Bear." She smirked. "It's been decided. You will na every place here, and we will be the judges! If it's bad, we'll correct you. Hehehe."
Beside Big Bear, Luna chuckled. "We wouldn't want to rob you of the chance to redeem yourself, after all."
"See how great we are? We care so much," luna said dramatically. "Right, Father? Mother?"
"Of course, Princess," Father said with a hearty laugh.
I groaned again, rubbing my temples. "I swear, all of you are enjoying this way too much."
Father wiped away a tear. "Imnsely."
Luna rubbed her hands together like a villain who just set up a perfect trap.
I groaned, clutching my chest as if I had been shot yet again. "This is unfair. A cruel setup!"
Father, still laughing, clapped my shoulder. "Co now, son. Consider it… character developnt."
Mother grinned. "So? What's your next attempt?"
I exhaled slowly, staring up at the sky in search of divine inspiration.
And just like that....
We continued to bicker, my desperate attempts to salvage whatever remained of my dignity proving utterly futile. My image—what little of it was left—had been thoroughly destroyed by the little princess.
anwhile, Luna, Mother, and Father took turns mocking in one way or another, each remark feeling like another arrow piercing my already wounded body. If this were a battlefield, I would be lying in a pool of my own blood, defeated beyond recognition.
In the end, I accepted my fate with a heavy heart. No matter how much I fought back, things only strayed further from my favor. In fact, the opposite of what I wanted kept happening. At first, I was rely wounded—but now? Now, I was grievously injured, my pride shattered beyond repair.
I sniffed internally, mourning my loss, before making a solemn promise to myself:
One day… I will have my revenge.
After everyone had taken in enough of the heavenly beauty of nature around the Origin Plane—and after they had thoroughly destroyed —I led them to the villa.
Luna was surprised once again, for the villa was almost identical in design to our mansion back ho. The resemblance stirred mories in all of us. Mother, Father, and Luna stood there for a few monts, lost in thought, before shaking off whatever was running through their minds. Then, they all turned to glare at , as if blaming for… sothing.
I blinked, confused. "What? What did I do now?"
They only sighed, shaking their heads, before following inside. Luna, still holding Farin in her hands, trailed after them.
I walked around the villa, though it wasn't really necessary. It was nearly identical to our ho in terms of structure, only with more anities. The biggest difference was that this place ran on a fusion generator instead of conventional electricity from coal or other sources.
But we didn't linger for long—we had a goal today. Their awakening.
Leading them to the basent—or rather, the Cultivation Room—I let them take in the sight. The air was thick with dense, primordial mana, swirling like a fine mist. In one section of the room stood the Awakening Platform.
I gave them a brief introduction before Father stepped forward, taking the lead. The platform itself was only a step or two tall, and in its center floated the Awakening Stone, pulsing with energy.
I instructed him, "Just place your hand on the stone. It will activate automatically."
He did as I said while Luna and Mother watched with slightly worried expressions. Even though I had reassured them multiple tis that there was no danger, the unknown always carried a sense of unease.
And, honestly, I couldn't bla them for that.
[Noah's POV]
Just as my son instructed, I placed my hand on the translucent gem, which shimred with a shifting array of colors as it floated before .
The mont my skin made contact, I felt sothing surge into my body—an unfamiliar yet powerful force. Before I could even process it, lightning began crackling across my skin. My entire body heated up as a sudden rush of energy flooded through . It was overwhelming, intense… yet strangely invigorating.
And then—just as suddenly as it began—it all vanished. The lightning that once danced over my body disappeared in an instant, as did the strange sensation. But the power remained.
I felt stronger, more alive than ever before. My body pulsed with vitality, almost as if it had been reborn.
Before I could even begin to question what had just happened, a translucent blue panel appeared before my eyes…
Is this the status panel that Kallus told about? I wondered as the panel materialized in front of .
[Status Panel]
Na: Noah
Race: Human
Bloodline: Ancestral Storm Monarch Lineage (supre grade)
Physique: Ancestral divine storm monarch body (supre grade
Talent: Supre grade
Class: God of Storm and Thunder
Affinities:
Lightning: Major
Wind: Major
Fire: High
Earth: High
Space: Low
I looked at my status panel, which displayed my na, race, and even my bloodline. But one thing caught my eye—Supre Grade? It was ntioned alongside my talent.
What does that an? I was just about to ask Kallus when he spoke, as if reading my mind.
"There are different grades—or levels—of talent, Father. The higher the talent, the faster and further you can climb the Life Ranks and evolve.
"The talent grades start from Mortal Grade, followed by Earth Grade, then Heaven Grade, Divine Grade, Ancient Grade, Celestial Grade, Mythic Grade, and finally… Supre Grade."
Kallus' POV
While I explained the classification of talent levels to my father, I deliberately left out the fact that there were even higher grades beyond Supre. There was no need to overwhelm him with that knowledge—at least, not yet.
We talked for a bit before he stepped down from the Awakening Platform and reassured my mother, letting her know he was perfectly fine. Then, he turned to her and encouraged her to step forward.
She hesitated at first, but after seeing her husband unhard—and more than fine—she finally ascended the platform and followed the process. Soon, her own class, physique, bloodline, and affinities awakened.
Her class was unique—perhaps even more special than my father's in terms of usefulness and strategic value. It was a Healer class. What kind of healer? That would beco clear in ti.
Just like with Father, I helped her understand the basics of how talent rankings worked. Once she finished, she stepped down.
Then ca Luna's turn.
