Chapter 1226: Chapter 1226: Past of Sealing Pulse Chapter 1226: Chapter 1226: Past of Sealing Pulse “Devlin?”

Zain Ellsworth opened the door and glanced at the black-clad Devlin standing before him, asking aloud, “Is that you?”

“Indeed.”

Being questioned in such a manner, Devlin felt a surge of panic inside.

He was sowhat worried that the person seated within the house might be the Holy Master.

But according to the intelligence from Brysen Beaumont, there should be no mistake, right?

“My master has been waiting for you for a long ti,” Zain Ellsworth said, stepping aside to clear a path.

Devlin hesitated but eventually stepped into the house.

Now, if the real Holy Master was inside, he feared he might not even be able to leave if he wanted to.

One could only say the poison was too vicious.

If it had been an ordinary poison, he would not have needed to take such a risk.

After entering the room, Devlin saw a man sitting on the living room sofa.

The man’s back was to him, holding a book, thoroughly engrossed in reading.

“Master, Devlin has arrived.”

Zain Ellsworth closed the door and stood respectfully behind Elaenor Wood.

“Sit!”

Elaenor Wood closed the book and pointed to the sofa opposite him, “I’ve been waiting for you until now; fortunately, you have co.”

“Waiting for ?” Devlin asked with so confusion, pointing at himself, “Are you… with dicine King Valley?”

“Please, take a seat.”

Elaenor Wood said with a smile.

“Alright!”

Devlin hesitated and then walked over and sat on the sofa opposite Elaenor Wood.

Since he had co, he resolved to stay calm.

He discreetly surveyed the room, his usual composure gone.

“Serve the tea!”

As soon as Elaenor Wood finished speaking, Zain Ellsworth ca over with a teacup and teapot.

“My na is Elaenor Wood, and since you’ve been able to find this place, it ans you know of ,” Elaenor Wood lifted the teapot, filled the cup in front of him, and passed it to Devlin, “Traveling can be exhausting, you must be thirsty, right?”

“Thank you, Mr. Wood.”

After a brief hesitation, Devlin took the teacup and drank it all at once.

If the other party really wanted to kill him, he assud they wouldn’t resort to such a clumsy thod.

Most importantly, the man before him hadn’t changed his appearance at all.

An encounter with an old acquaintance should be a happy occasion.

But Devlin was aware that if his true identity were exposed, he might be killed on the spot.

Elaenor Wood?

Isn’t that Aziz Fairbanks?

“I’ve heard you know about the Sealing Pulse?” Elaenor Wood placed the teacup back on the table and asked gently.

The Holy Master wouldn’t deceive him.

There would be no point.

“Indeed.”

Devlin drank so more tea, feeling his body relax considerably.

He pretended to casually roll up his sleeve, revealing his weathered arm.

But it was clean.

There were no marks on it.

“It’s a bit hot in the house,” Devlin loosened his collar, saying sowhat awkwardly: “Apologies, I’m plagued with a severe poison, and the internal heat is making lose composure.”

“It’s alright,” Elaenor Wood’s gaze fell on Devlin’s arm, his eyes showing a flicker of disappointnt.

He was not a person from the Seven Veins.

Then, how did he co to know about the Seven Veins?

Pendleton is not the Ten Thousand Mountain Alliance.

The Seven Veins have always been secretive; almost no one knows of them.

Had the Bead Pulse and Sealing Pulse not betrayed them, even the Holy Master would not have known of Pendleton’s existence.

On the contrary, it was in recent years that the Seven Veins fell apart and began to slaughter each other, causing so organizations to get wind of the matter.

“I once followed soone.”

Devlin, seeing the expression on Elaenor Wood’s face, weakly continued: “The man’s na was Raheem Fairbanks; in his early years, he founded the Ghost Sword Sect in Boulevard. By a twist of fate, I helped him with so matters, so I have so understanding of Raheem Fairbanks’s affairs.”

“Raheem Fairbanks?”

The usually impassive Elaenor Wood suddenly beca sowhat agitated.

“Where is he now?”

Raheem Fairbanks!

On the plane to Cook’s City, there had been a disciple from the Ghost Sword Sect who claid to be Nathanael Warm, holding a Copper Coin, and found Elaenor Wood.

That Copper Coin was supposed to be found in the mouth of Raheem Fairbanks’ corpse.

Yet, out of four corpses, only three remained.

Raheem Fairbanks had disappeared without a trace.

And Raheem Fairbanks was precisely the person who competed against Elaenor Wood for the position of Vein Holder of the Sealing Pulse.

In the end, Elaenor Wood lost the competition, beca despondent, and was determined to achieve a great feat even at the cost of his life.

But fate played its tricks, and he was sohow resurrected hundreds of years later.

And he had a powerful physique.

Whether it was a blessing or a curse was hard to tell.

After waking up, Elaenor Wood began to investigate the Sealing Pulse, wanting to et the current Vein Holder.

But who could have imagined that the once supre Sealing Pulse, which once orchestrated the plot that led to the Holy Master’s amnesia!

The Sealing Pulse, which was just below the Imperial Pulse among the Seven Veins!

Had disappeared without a trace!

After extensive investigation, Elaenor Wood learned that not long after his death, Raheem Fairbanks too entered the ancient tomb to await death.

And from that ti on, the Sealing Pulse was nearly extinguished.

But coincidentally!

Nathanael Warm betrayed his sect, taking the secrets of the Ghost Sword Sect with him, found the great tomb, and took out that Copper Coin.

Raheem Fairbanks wasn’t dead!

The only one in the world who could provide immortality was the Holy Master.

Elaenor Wood sent people to inspect.

The great tomb was tidy, clearly maintained regularly.

And the spot that should have belonged to Raheem Fairbanks remained vacant.

The fallen leaves would return to their roots.

If Raheem Fairbanks didn’t et a violent death, he would surely return to the great tomb.

Now, soone had actually followed Raheem Fairbanks, and Elaenor Wood was extrely excited.

“Raheem Fairbanks established the Ghost Sword Sect, and is also an immortal. Frankly speaking, I am from Thunderpeak Hall and serve the Bead Pulse. It was because of this that I had contact with Raheem Fairbanks.”

Devlin cleared his throat softly, picked up the teacup to moisten his throat, and spoke, “Back in the day, Raheem Fairbanks indeed betrayed Pendleton and surrendered to the Holy Master. Yet, in the end, he found his way again, wanting to atone for his sins. The arrangent of the Holy Master in Gonzalez City was deftly managed by Raheem Fairbanks.”

“Do you know?”

Elaenor Wood stared intently into Devlin’s eyes.

Through the mask, looking at those eyes.

“At that ti, the Bead Pulse and Sealing Pulse joined forces in this matter, and I assisted Raheem Fairbanks. As for the Radcliffe Family where the Holy Master was located, apart from Quella Radcliffe alone, everyone else was a pawn arranged by my Thunderpeak Hall.”

Devlin felt his body seed to have improved a lot, at least his internal organs didn’t hurt as much.

“Turning over a new leaf? Is it not because he feared being hunted by the Seven Veins after realizing the Holy Master’s amnesia, that he was forced to compromise?” Elaenor Wood spoke indifferently, “He’s a man without principles. The vanished Sealing Pulse has beco today’s Ghost Sword Sect.”

“You know?”

Devlin frowned slightly and asked softly, “The matters of the Ghost Sword Sect are very secretive.”

“Before boarding the plane, there was a guy nad Nathanael Warm who ca looking for with a Copper Coin.” Elaenor Wood stood up, dressed in a nightgown, and walked to the window.

“It is because of this Copper Coin that I know Raheem Fairbanks is not dead. When was the last ti you were in contact with him?”

“Four years ago! Ever since the layout for the Holy Master was complete, Raheem Fairbanks has vanished like steam in the Mortal World. But I suspect, could he be lurking near the Holy Master, waiting for an opportunity?”

Devlin answered, his back toward Elaenor Wood.

“Good, you may go.”

Elaenor Wood said indifferently, “The antidote is in the tea. You’ve already been cured after drinking it.”

“Thank you!”

Feeling relieved throughout his body, Devlin bowed deeply, stood up, and left.

In the hotel, only Elaenor Wood and Zain Ellsworth remained.

“dicine God, this Devlin, sneaky and secretive, Can we trust what he says?”

Half an hour later.

Zain Ellsworth looked at Elaenor Wood, who stood motionless in front of the window, and spoke up.

“He is but a crafty ant,” Elaenor Wood shook his head, smiling, “Devlin… Oh, Devlin…”

The smile on his face suddenly vanished!

Boom!

A loud explosion.

The glass window before Elaenor Wood shattered instantly!

“Devlin… Wood… The na Raheem Fairbanks, only the Sealing Pulse would know! Outsiders know him as Aziz Fairbanks!”

He clenched his fists tightly, slowly closing his eyes.

“At least, we have t.”
