Capítulo 2029: Chapter 2029: Gathering Together
“I was set up.” Pruitt Wilde struggled to stand, pulling the golden dagger from his shoulder and handing it back to Julius Reed. “This is also why I wanted you all to co.”
He ignored the wound on his shoulder, raising his eyelids to look at the Guilt Emperor. “I now suspect that each of you has such a hidden bomb inside your bodies!”
Upon hearing this, the Guilt Emperor stepped back repeatedly, incredulous, “No! How could this be possible? It’s absolutely not possible!”
He was extrely loyal to the gods, with utmost trust in them.
So even though the temple had been overthrown for years, everyone else was busy restoring their power, secretly planning to eliminate Julius Reed.
Only he kept wandering around, thinking of ways to revive the temple.
In the end, he really found a sealed white tiger and almost released it with a great formation.
Once the divine beast erged, things wouldn’t be simple.
Although no one had witnessed the power of the divine beast back then, just a single roar was enough to make Pruitt Wilde’s Iron Bear King retreat.
And under the command of the Six Emperors, each had formidable beasts fighting for them.
They could conquer neighboring nations and beco the Six Emperors, largely thanks to these beasts.
Yet even these beasts were all afraid of the temple’s divine beasts.
One can imagine how powerful the divine beasts were.
Unfortunately, the Guilt Emperor didn’t release the white tiger, but his desire to revive the temple had never ceased.
Now, with Pruitt Wilde making such shocking statents, the Guilt Emperor couldn’t accept it.
This ant that they, the divine servants, were all puppets!
Being controlled!
Being distrusted!
“Pruitt, the gods granted you immortality, yet you’re ungrateful!” The Guilt Emperor maintained a safe distance from Pruitt Wilde, but after saying this, he didn’t know how to explain the other persona within Pruitt Wilde.
The Compass kept pointing at Pruitt Wilde, perfectly corroborating his statent.
The Guilt Emperor was sowhat shaken.
“But why haven’t I felt it? What if it wasn’t the temple’s doing?” he asked.
This was hard to accept.
The Guilt Emperor was a wise man, and if this were true, he’d have to reconsider his plans.
After all, loyalty was for the hope that once the temple reestablished dominion over the Mortal World, he, the Guilt Emperor, could rank among the Seventh Emperors… or even lead the Six Emperors.
Of course, so were unfortunate.
Truly dead.
Taken down by Julius Reed.
If the temple intended to take over their bodies, the Guilt Emperor wouldn’t play along.
Couldn’t afford to.
He’d have lost everything.
“Why don’t you try dying once? Before I died, I didn’t foresee this either. But after I resurrected, I imdiately realized there was another self inside .”
Pruitt Wilde patted his shoulder, and the bleeding stopped instantly.
“This thing is too lethal! Perhaps what the temple wants isn’t us, but tools to help them? If it wasn’t for the Nether Emperor’s assistance, I might not be the one standing here talking to you.”
This statent was terrifying.
Back then, to counter Julius Reed, the huge cost the temple paid to implant another persona inside him was told to them through the Prophet’s mouth.
Everyone knew clearly then.
Julius Reed was so strong, yet even as an enemy, they could implant a personality inside him.
The closest they’d co to killing Julius Reed was the day Osher Reed erupted!
In the following millennia, they never achieved the sa result.
And as divine servants, unguarded against the temple, it was all the more effortless to sabotage them.
“Even if I believe you, what can we do now?” The Guilt Emperor was already shaken; this matter struck right to the heart.
No one can be open-hearted in the face of life and death.
That’s being dispossessed of one’s body!
Becoming another stranger.
“That’s right! I can validate this conjecture.”
Suddenly.
A voice descended from the sky.
In a flash, a man appeared next to the Guilt Emperor.
“Orson Martinez!” The Guilt Emperor raised an eyebrow, sneering, “Not dead? Still alive? I heard at the Dusty Platform, you were beaten so hard by the Holy Master that you pissed yourself.”
They hated Orson Martinez the most.
Skilid City was clearly strong, but always passive against Julius Reed.
In the end, they even concocted a lousy idea, allowing the Imperial Teacher and Pruitt Wilde to battle Julius Reed while he took the opportunity to flee.
Thus, for the Guilt Emperor, who was loyal to the temple, such a traitor naturally had no favorable opinions.
“Do you know that my body was once taken by the temple?” Pranay Martinez smiled faintly without joy or sorrow.
The ones who ca earlier were his subordinates.
In charge of checking if Quella Radcliffe was indeed as Pruitt Wilde described, possessing the Unique Body Constitution of Extre Yin.
In fact, Pranay Martinez had long suspected this and even investigated.
But not every woman could beco the Holy Master’s consort.
However, he never found anything useful; he knew Quella Radcliffe’s body might be special, but he never linked it to the Extre Yin Constitution.
Special constitutions are not necessarily the Extre Yin Constitution.
There are too many people with unique constitutions in this world.
Including themselves, all had unique constitutions.
Otherwise, why could Pruitt Wilde be resurrected after being dead for thousands of years?
This circle is rather peculiar.
But the Extre Yin Constitution is entirely different.
It’s a natural cauldron!
“Guilt Emperor, I advise you to wake up. If you continue to be stubborn, I’m afraid before you realize it, you’ll no longer be yourself.” Pranay Martinez ntioned this matter with a somber face.
Even soone as calculating as him still fell into the trap.
“Pranay Martinez, you traitor! The gods granted you immortality, gave you your current status! And what did you do? You betrayed the gods! I’ll be damned!” The Guilt Emperor was so angry that his hand trembled.
His most detested was Pranay Martinez!
That selfish bastard!
“If it weren’t for laying a secret plan earlier, when accepting the temple’s task, crafting a sword embodying national fortune, extracting from it, and continuously accumulating thereafter, to create a crystal sword.”
Pranay Martinez sighed as he spoke of this, “I gave that crystal sword to the Holy Master, hoping he could expel the other will within . Fortunately, I succeeded. I’ve already died once, Guilt Emperor!”
The Guilt Emperor remained silent.
He had heard rumors about this matter.
But hearing it from Pranay Martinez’s mouth, he still couldn’t fully believe it.
“Every ti I worshiped the gods, I always found an excuse not to go, so even if the temple wanted to take action against , they had no chance. Hence, through a well, they took advantage of my psyche to seize my body.”
He had been exceedingly cautious, yet still lost to his greed.
“Is that so, you.” Pruitt Wilde suddenly paused, then said, “No wonder every ti we went to greet the temple, you conveniently had other matters, always on guard!”
“I had no choice; I just wanted to live longer.” Pranay Martinez turned around, looking at an elderly man with a sword on his back, raising his eyebrows, “Imperial Teacher, you’ve arrived?”
“With such excitent, how could I not co?” The Imperial Teacher folded his hands behind him, coldly watching the few people in front of him. “Pruitt Wilde, this Extre Yin Constitution is a treasure, why not hoard it yourself and take it out now, what’s your sche?”
