Capítulo 2092: Chapter 2092: Grand Hall

When martial arts and technology clash.

Ilia Danvers was defeated, utterly routed.

Facing Shadow Kims’ coffin tactics, Ilia Danvers’ monk soldiers were utterly decimated.

Golden darts fell like they were free, covering the sky.

Soon, the last monk soldier was eliminated.

Ilia Danvers was left all alone.

“Thankfully you had people arranged in advance, otherwise if we suddenly faced these formidable monk soldiers, we’d be completely outmatched,” Shadow Kims felt a sense of narrow escape.

Too risky.

He never expected Ilia Danvers to be waiting for them in such a place.

“One who plans ahead knows no worries,” Julius Reed spoke calmly, “You must know, he’s been operating here for years, how could he let us wander idly? I think there are still traps.”

Ilia Danvers disappeared.

In the first mont all the monk soldiers were wiped out, he vanished into the darkness.

Nobody knows how large the Dusty Platform really is.

This place has always belonged to Ilia Danvers, even if Shadow Kims knew, he was just a guest.

He never truly stayed here, also unaware of the secrets hidden within.

His most frequent location was the laboratory.

Now that the laboratory has been destroyed, Shadow Kims’ known places decreased by one.

“Still need to be careful, Ilia Danvers obviously anticipated our arrival and was waiting for a long ti,” Julius Reed waved his hand, those from the Funeral Alliance dragged their comrades’ bodies, cheerfully heading to the feast.

“We must find the so-called hell and see for ourselves what it truly is,” he said, then walked ahead.

Shadow Kims changed into a golden suit of armor, ensuring his safety before cautiously following Julius Reed.

They weren’t afraid of people.

They were just afraid of those monsters attacking quietly.

After walking a short distance, the machines gradually disappeared.

In their place was a lone palace gate.

The palace resided within, standing about four or five ters tall.

The gate was pure black, without any decoration.

Even the pair of copper rings on the door were entirely black.

The hall had no na, just standing there pitch-black.

From three ters away, it was invisible.

The dark environnt, devoid of any light or lamps.

Adding to that, the hall was completely black, extrely oppressive.

“What is this? How have I not seen it before?” Shadow Kims had been here, even guiding Ilia Danvers in making the monk soldiers.

But this hall, he indeed hadn’t seen before.

Did it originally exist?

Shadow Kims was uncertain.

Because he hadn’t paid attention, nor walked so deeply in before.

“I’d advise you, better not to enter.”

Suddenly, Ilia Danvers’ voice erged.

But he couldn’t be seen anywhere.

“This is a forbidden zone, even though I’ve occupied the Dusty Platform for years, I’ve never set foot inside. Previously stopping you was also to prevent a disaster.”

Shadow Kims looked around, seeing no sign of anyone.

“Ilia Danvers, co out! We can talk this over, there’s no need for a life-and-death struggle.” He shouted loudly.

With the golden armor as his shield, Shadow Kims wasn’t too worried.

The armor was heavy, a burden to common people, but for Shadow Kims, it posed no problem at all.

He was a martial artist, a super martial artist.

A Great Grandmaster level.

What was a re ten plus kilograms of gold?

“I’m warning you for the last ti, what lies inside is indeed dangerous. I lack the power to stop you now, but if you enter, you’ll all perish! That’s all I’m saying, decide for yourselves.”

With that, Ilia Danvers said no more.

As if he really left.

“What do we do?” Shadow Kims was a bit indecisive.

Of course, Ilia Danvers might be deceiving them.

But what if he’s not?

This is the Dusty Platform; Ilia Danvers has planned for thousands of years here, he basically understands everything.

Even the Ten Thousand Gods Cave was led by Ilia Danvers.

If there’s truly danger here, wouldn’t they be courting death?

In the face of life, it’s better to believe there is than there isn’t.

“I actually think we could give it a try,” Julius Reed glanced around, noting that the hall’s occupied area wasn’t large.

But behind the hall, it was adjacent to a mountain.

“I’ll go take a look.” He leaped, landing atop the hall.

There were no bricks or tiles, only a layer of black mud.

This black mud was incredibly hard, Julius Reed tried to pierce it, but to no avail.

Ordinarily, soil shouldn’t be this solid.

Even if it were stone, Julius Reed could shatter it with a slap.

Yet the black mud roof seed entirely untouched.

Just hardy!

Impervious to blades and spears.

Julius Reed drew the Break Sky Knife from his waist, striking down hard!

Still no effect.

“This thing is really bizarre,” after several failed attempts, Julius Reed hopped down from the hall.

“What’s going on?” Shadow Kims also felt puzzled.

Why couldn’t he crack the roof?

Given Julius Reed’s strength, he had surpassed all rivals.

How could he be powerless?

“This hall and the mountain are one entity, no seams at all,” Julius Reed sheathed his knife, crossed his arms, and stared at the hall. “I tried confronting the edge with the knife, but couldn’t find even a slight gap.”

“Definitely peculiar, should we go in?” Shadow Kims hesitated again.

But with the golden armor and his high-tech enhancents, he felt emboldened.

“If we don’t go in and see, it’ll be a regret for both of us,” Julius Reed stepped forward, grasping the rings, taking a deep breath.

He didn’t move.

Shadow Kims fixed his gaze, eager to see what’s inside.

His heartbeat also began to race.

“Ilia Danvers, are you still not telling the truth?” Julius Reed released the copper rings and stepped back.

He closed his eyes, beginning to activate the Green Snake power.

But there was no reaction.

Julius Reed opened his eyes, looking slightly surprised.

Could even the power of Green Snake not enter?

He tried once more.

Still nothing.

This door seems to have so strange power, completely nullifying the Green Snake’s ability.

Julius Reed could distinctly feel the door obstructing.

Unable to pass through.

The ability to even enter the divine realm, rendered useless before a decrepit temple door?

“What’s going on?” Shadow Kims asked from the side.

“Weird,” after three fruitless attempts, Julius Reed returned to the front of the hall, clutching the copper rings!

Another fierce pull!

Crack!

The door swung open!

An icy chill rushed forth!

It made one shiver involuntarily.

Inside, it was still pitch black, nothing visible.

“Shall we go in?” Julius Reed turned around, looking at Shadow Kims.

“I too want to see what’s really inside!” Shadow Kims nodded, darting inside with his hands tightly gripping the golden hidden weapon box and gold knife.

Should a situation arise, he could respond imdiately.

Whoosh!

After Shadow Kims entered, the door shut by itself.

“Can we still get out?” He quickly turned.

Only to find in surprise, the door could be pushed open.

No situation as anticipated where the door couldn’t be opened anymore.

“Since we can co and go so easily, it seems likely Ilia Danvers has already been here. His stopping us definitely hides so unspeakable secret,” Julius Reed squinted his eyes, “Next, he’ll try every ans to stop us, be cautious.”
