"We thought about playing with her a bit, but now that we’re ready to talk business, let’s just have him roll out."
Julius Reed said casually, without even glancing back.
This deanor made Pruitt Wilde even more convinced of his own thoughts.
The young man in front of him was unfathomable.
He knew about the connection to Hidden Gate, and his bodyguards were this strong.
Not simple at all.
"Your subordinate just now held back in every move, no killing intent, but now, how could his every move be filled with imnse murderous intent?"
Pruitt Wilde decided to stand there and see what tricks the young man had up his sleeve.
"I have so fa in the martial arts world myself, but I’ve never seen such a peculiar person. Almost... it’s two different people."
He kept his eyes fixed on Hawthorne, constantly pondering in his heart.
A martial artist’s foundational style is usually hard to change once established.
So are used to going all out with grand gestures, adopting bold martial arts techniques for life.
Others are deceptive and cunning, making it nearly impossible for them to be straightforward and upright.
Muscle mory and long-standing tendencies cause martial artists to instinctively resort to their tried-and-tested habits when they strike again.
To be proficient in both techniques like Hawthorne is extrely rare.
Except for Julius Reed.
The Holy Master?
Pruitt Wilde had doubted, but although the man in front of him was strong, there was still a significant gap from being the Holy Master.
Moreover, his thods appeared sowhat immature.
"When I first t this servant, his entire family had been killed. It was tragic; he was squatting on the ground crying."
Julius Reed turned and pointed at Hawthorne: "I saw his determined eyes and asked if he wanted to unjustly kill. He said he wanted revenge, but vengeance changes a person."
"I told him that those imrsed in hatred aren’t happy and lack brightness. I’m willing to help him seal off his hatred so he could live happily."
"So he accepted?" Pruitt Wilde asked, surprised.
Anyone having their family killed would likely seek vengeance.
But after the vengeance, that murderous nature would be deeply rooted.
In dreams, those nightmares would repeatedly occur, each occurrence causing a person to relive their past pain.
Over ti, human nature changes.
"He accepted. He also felt he should beco a joyous person. Only then could he give comfort to his deceased family." Julius Reed smiled faintly: "So I sealed off his killing intent, making him a polite person. In all matters, convince with virtue, don’t harm the harmony."
"A feasible thod indeed. Though he forsakes vengeance, at least life thereafter will be vibrant." Pruitt Wilde nodded in agreent: "A person cannot live within hatred. Hatred truly changes a person."
"Forsakes vengeance? Why abandon it?" Julius Reed retorted.
"But didn’t you say he chose a new life?" Pruitt Wilde was stumped.
Could it be he misunderstood the other’s aning?
In his view, only by letting go of hatred can life begin anew.
Revenge, once initiated, is virtually unstoppable.
"He may forgo vengeance, but I can’t." Julius Reed flashed a white-toothed grin, smiling softly: "I killed his foes, pushed them off the cliff, starved alive, eaten bit-by-bit by birds. He may forego vengeance, but that doesn’t an I will stand idly by."
"Haha, you people are truly intriguing." Pruitt Wilde felt suddenly that he couldn’t quite see through the young man before him.
anwhile in the distance, Hawthorne let loose his sealed intent, every move brimming with murderous intention!
Forcing Lucien Radcliffe back hundreds of ters!
The final punch landed on Lucien Radcliffe’s shoulder, driving away the female demon.
"Look, she’s gone. Now, what’s the deal with you and Hidden Gate? Can you talk about it?" Julius Reed pointed at the barbecue on the ground, asking: "Want to drink a little more?"
"No thanks." Pruitt Wilde shook his head refusing. "Hidden Gate’s strength cos from sothing called the ’Witch,’ which provides power. It’s precisely because of this Witch that there’s today’s Hidden Gate."
"As expected." Julius Reed nodded in acknowledgnt.
Without a powerful force, a sect could never appear out of thin air.
But what exactly is this Witch?
What’s its connection with the divine realm and the underworld?
"You plan on going to Hidden Gate?" Julius Reed asked.
"I have no choice." Pruitt Wilde nodded. "Otherwise, I’m truly worried I’ll beco a puppet."
"Farewell." Julius Reed turned to leave.
"We won’t et again." Pruitt Wilde smirked and pressed his lips: "We’re not cut from the sa cloth."
"The martial world is vast; saying goodbye guarantees another eting." Julius Reed vanished into the snowy plains.
His speed was exceptional.
"Ah, youth, still naive and fearless." Pruitt Wilde shook his head.
He wasn’t simply searching for himself but wanted to et this so-called Witch.
Back on the mountain, he once told Julius Reed, in this life, he had no other goals left.
To take down a handful of so-called gods would be worthwhile.
Going there would lead to certain death.
Never considered surviving.
He lived a lifeti already, and after dying once, he had long since seen clarity.
In his past life, he bowed to these so-called gods.
This life, he wants gods to bow before him.
...
"Hidden Gate, huh? Get Auntie on the line right away, I’m the Witch, over at Boulevard encountered..."
Before finishing, Lucien Radcliffe’s words halted.
Drip.
The blood from her body landed in the snow, dyeing it red instantly.
"Witch, what’s wrong with you?" asked the voice on the phone, curious.
"It’s fine, I’ll call you later." Lucien Radcliffe said, ending the call.
"What do you intend to do?" She didn’t move, but asked.
"Not much, intend to kill you." Julius Reed erged from behind her with a smile.
And Shadow Kims was holding a gun to Lucien Radcliffe’s head.
"You’re hurt. Oh, this young man, heavy-handed." Julius Reed reached out and touched Lucien Radcliffe’s wrist.
It was blood.
When Hawthorne entered his berserk mode, he heavily wounded Lucien Radcliffe.
This massive transformation is generally difficult for ordinary people to adapt to, let alone Lucien Radcliffe who deed Hawthorne non-threatening.
"If you truly wish to kill , just do it. Threatening now surely holds a purpose. Speak then, what do you want." Lucien Radcliffe raised her head, glaring at Julius Reed.
"I want to see Auntie." Julius Reed closed in with a mischievous grin: "Is that fine?"
"Impossible, Auntie is not soone you wish to see and can just et." Lucien Radcliffe coldly huffed.
"Actually, I know where your Hidden Gate is, even if you don’t lead , I have ways." Julius Reed chuckled lightly: "Alright, I know, Black Dragon Cave."
Lucien Radcliffe’s face was full of shock, almost instinctively blurting out: "How do you know?"
"You can leave now."
Julius Reed turned to depart.
Shadow Kims withdrew the gun and followed.
Leaving the astonished Lucien Radcliffe behind.
"I have to say, Dragon Dance ability is sotis genuinely helpful." Julius Reed patted Shadow Kims: "I know what you’re thinking, if she weren’t my sister-in-law, could she live till now?"
