Five minutes later.
Once again, the sound of leaves being stepped on could be heard.
Julius Reed swiftly opened his eyes, clutching three willow leaves in his right hand, and hurled them forward!
The willow leaves, like flying daggers, once again stirred up several clouds of blood mist in the air.
Soone collapsed.
"Bravo! Truly marvelous!"
A voice was heard, followed by an old man and several youths erging from the woods.
"No wonder you’re both literate and capable, handso and suave, with skills unmatched in the world, Julius Reed. You’ve actually taken down so many of my proud disciples." The old man looked at the corpses on the ground, with little sorrow, and even had a hint of friendliness in his tone.
Of course, this friendliness was fake.
"You are also a master, why so sneaky, and only now do you co out to et people?" Julius Reed looked at the group in front of him, still maintaining a seated position.
"Master? That’s not at all, just a re villager!" The old man responded humbly, but at the sa ti, his footsteps halted.
He had no intention of moving forward.
"Tell , who are you, and why are you following ?" Julius Reed sat cross-legged on the ground, the sword in front of him started trembling.
"Who I am doesn’t matter. What’s important is, do you have few enemies, Julius Reed? So many people want to kill you, does each have a reason? I’m among them, though just a bit more capable." The old man’s tone grew colder.
Besides Isaak Ridge, another youth was standing beside him.
That youth was covered in blood, extrely miserable.
He was the one who followed Long Wu earlier, was severely injured by Julius Reed, and eventually found a scapegoat.
"Originally, we really didn’t have deep hatred, I just wanted to understand what kind of person you, Julius Reed, are." The old man snorted coldly, finally showing so anger in his tone: "But you killed my n! What a sneaky diversion! My disciples have been with for years, they’re very familiar with my lifestyle, yet you just killed them!"
"Now, isn’t there a blood debt between us?"
The old man pointed at Julius Reed, sternly asking: "Tell , should this grudge be avenged or not!"
"Clearly, you were the one who followed and provoked first." Julius Reed didn’t want to argue, the harder the fist, the more justified one was.
"Since you don’t want to tell who you are, then act now." Julius Reed slowly stood up, pulled out the sword inserted into the ground, and slowly lifted it, pointing at the old man: "Act."
"Really arrogant, confident!" The old man didn’t rush to act but instead took a few steps back, "You probably don’t know, during our chat, Trent Marsh and Long Wu have been captured by us."
"Do you think I would believe that?" Just as Julius Reed finished speaking, he heard curses coming from behind him.
"Old bastard, if you dare, kill !"
"Julius Reed, don’t care about us, kill them all!"
It was Trent Marsh and Long Wu’s voices, coming from behind him.
Julius Reed didn’t rush to turn around, for opponents who could manipulate formations, creating an illusion wasn’t difficult.
There was still a formidable enemy ahead, he couldn’t casually look back.
"Look, check out my masterpiece." The old man pointed behind Julius Reed, laughing: "You and I may be powerless, but dealing with Trent Marsh and Long Wu doesn’t seem difficult. I have both formation and Martial arts, virtually no opponents."
Julius Reed finally turned around and glanced back.
Trent Marsh was tied up with ropes, his body filled with sharp knives!
Long Wu, although not stabbed with knives, wasn’t much better off either.
His body was tightly bound, two large rocks pressing on his shoulders.
"Impressive." Julius Reed clapped his hands, praising: "These knives perfectly immobilize Trent Marsh, and the stones suppress Long Wu, rendering him unable to resist. Honestly, I’m starting to get curious, who exactly are you?"
He had encountered many enemies, but none as bizarre as the one before him, whose root cause couldn’t be traced.
During these long five thousand years, Julius Reed had many mories.
In this ti, he had beco so adept that no occurrence surprised him.
Yet today, what he encountered was unpredictable.
This group of people was extrely peculiar, even after the confrontation, Julius Reed hadn’t figured out who was behind them.
"No need for curiosity because we’re enemies. I suspect you might leave with this regret. Till death, you’ll never know the answer." The old man gestured, and those people suddenly kicked at the two’s knees.
Thud!
Long Wu and Trent Marsh knelt on the ground.
"You scum, I’ll certainly kill you!"
Trent Marsh roared angrily.
"Kill? Right now, you haven’t figured out your predicant. Obviously, you’re the one destined to be killed by , yet you still shout about killing ?" The old man nodded, a disciple drew his sword, stabbing down at Trent Marsh’s shoulder!
Blood splattered!
Trent Marsh didn’t make a sound.
He endured it firmly.
"Did you see? My initial target was actually the two of them, but your intervention put in a tough spot." The old man took a few steps forward, fiddling with the ring on his finger, "Now, I’m giving you two options: I kill them and then kill you, or the second option, you cooperate with , and lend a hand."
"The second option sounds pretty good?" Julius Reed said with a smile.
"The choice is yours, I won’t interfere. I’ll give you three minutes to think about it. After three minutes, I’ll kill those two and then deal with you!" The old man pointed sharply, his presence beca intimidating.
The people behind him, including Isaak Ridge, raised their guns, aiming at Julius Reed.
"You only have three minutes, think it over." The old man warned once more.
"Thank you, I think I may not need three minutes." Julius Reed looked at Long Wu and Trent Marsh, as he spoke.
"What, do you want your friends to live or die?" The old man squinted, his hand movents halted.
He was eager for the ensuing words.
"Of course live, if they died, I’d feel deeply remorseful." Just as Julius Reed finished speaking, he fiercely slashed forward!
Swish!
The Sword Qi flashed brilliantly, instantly slicing Long Wu and Trent Marsh into two segnts.
And those disciples were also slain!
None survived!
"You!" The old man hadn’t completely expected the situation to unfold this way.
"Co out, Hill Leocadia. There’s only one person in the world who can imitate a person’s words, appearance, and voice so excellently, that’s you." Julius Reed shouted loudly.
"Haha! Julius Reed, how did you know it was !" Behind the old man, a stooped elder slowly erged.
"Just before leaving, Trent Marsh had a bowl of porridge. Yet, he shouted so hard, I couldn’t sll a thing, instead, I slled cologne, n’s at that." Julius Reed snorted lightly: "Please, don’t be so rushed next ti, show so respect."
"Mr. Jackson, I can’t handle this." Hill Leocadia whispered.
"Heavenly Net!" The white-haired elder pointed to the sky.
Suddenly, a large net appeared in the surroundings!
