"The Gaoyang Labyrinth?"
Longwu saw the scorpion flag, mories suddenly flooding her mind.
She indeed recognized this flag. Although the Ten Thousand Mountain Alliance was powerful and had unified the world, it was not a highly centralized organization.
In other words, it was like the enfeoffnt system of later generations. Each participant in the Ten Thousand Mountain Alliance had their own power and organization. When they gathered together, it was called the Ten Thousand Mountain Alliance.
Silvio Reed was nominally the supre leader and did have his own rights.
But wanting to have complete control was impossible.
To stabilize people’s hearts, Silvio Reed had to grant fiefs.
And it was precisely for the concentration of power that the coup Longwu exploited took place.
Silvio Reed was a beneficiary, as he orchestrated the coup to pressure the palace, successfully eliminating many powerful forces.
Longwu was also a beneficiary; she shared the sa goal as Silvio Reed, to get rid of these people.
However, in her eyes, Silvio Reed was just a pawn.
And she was the one truly playing the ga.
But later, Longwu discovered soone had smashed the chessboard.
That person was Julius Reed.
Entangled in love and hate.
Even though Julius Reed might be alive, by the passage of ti, he should have started long-term mory loss.
Soone with amnesia cannot pose a threat to oneself.
Instead, Trent Marsh’s appearance was a major surprise for her.
Had the Nine Provinces Mausoleum not trapped this War God?
But now that Trent Marsh had appeared, it was aningless to dwell on these things.
Only by dealing with Trent Marsh first, would she have ti to ponder how he managed to escape.
"I know the Gaoyang Labyrinth. Although I haven’t been out for long, I am very familiar with certain special locations in this world."
Longwu pointed at those people, those figures clad in black armor, their appearances indistinguishable.
"You’re saying they were hidden by Silvio Reed within the Gaoyang Labyrinth?"
"Correct." Trent Marsh replied expressionlessly.
"If Silvio Reed had this power, why hadn’t he brought them out earlier? Why didn’t you know until so long after his death?" Longwu seed to have a revelation, "Are you saying you’ve been inside the Nine Provinces Mausoleum?"
"Correct! The Nine Provinces Mausoleum!" Trent Marsh did not deny it; as long as Silvio Reed was unwilling, no one could see those things.
"Unbelievable." Longwu shook her head, "I always felt this was unlikely."
"Why?" Trent Marsh pointed to the black-armored warriors behind him, lightly brushing snow off his shoulder with his right hand and smiling as he asked, "Silvio Reed was the king of the Ten Thousand Mountain Alliance, capable of anything. Why couldn’t he?"
"If Silvio Reed was really that formidable, I would already be dead by now. If he could predict the current events, why couldn’t he foresee being killed by back then?"
Longwu shook her head, "He’s dead. I can’t possibly have high regard for the deceased."
"Victory belongs to kings, defeat to outlaws. It’s normal." Trent Marsh nodded, his eyes filled with calm acceptance. "But now, the people Silvio Reed left are right in front of you."
He pointed to the black-armored warriors, smiled, and said, "And they are ant to kill you."
"Far from enough." Longwu shook her head, "Trent Marsh, you’ve changed. I even have the illusion that Trent Marsh is already dead, and you’re not Trent Marsh."
"Trent Marsh? Trent Marsh might indeed be dead, dead inside the Gaoyang Labyrinth." Trent Marsh extended his hand, waving it upwards.
The sound of movent!
Dozens more black-armored soldiers erged behind him.
"Is this enough?" he asked again.
"Still not enough." Longwu was sowhat surprised, but remained unmoved.
The Long family’s experts were countless, plus the martial artists who voluntarily defected to them, how could they be shaken by Trent Marsh’s small numbers?
The Trent Marsh before her felt very unfamiliar.
The previous arrogance was gone, as was the cold-bloodedness for which the War God was renowned.
In other words, the current Trent Marsh seed a bit like Julius Reed!
So annoying!
Why should a person undergo such a drastic change?
Since Trent Marsh joined the Ten Thousand Mountain Alliance, Longwu had known this madman.
For thousands of years, Trent Marsh’s personality had never changed.
But now, the once arrogant and domineering Trent Marsh was unexpectedly so cold and indifferent, unsettling Longwu greatly.
"Then let’s co again." Trent Marsh spread his hands, gesturing upwards once more.
Nearly a hundred people slowly appeared.
"Is this enough? Then keep going!"
Trent Marsh shouted, and nearly a thousand people began to erge.
Longwu felt her scalp tingle, finding it hard to believe.
Were these truly the people Silvio Reed left behind?
"Now, is it enough?" Trent Marsh placed his right hand on the hilt of the sword at his waist, drawing it slowly.
The sound of a blade!
A thousand swords drawn!
Cold gleams flickering.
"Be careful." Dragon Kun stepped back a few steps, placing his hand behind him, signaling with a gesture.
The Long family mbers behind him understood and imdiately returned to the base to organize a response.
"I can choose not to fight you today," Trent Marsh nonchalantly said as he looked at the sword in his hand, "Leave Boulevard, return to your original place in the Long family. Otherwise, I’ll kill you all, leaving not a single one."
"Are you threatening ?" Longwu sneered, drawing her weapon as well, "I’ve never been afraid."
"Then see who this person is?" Trent Marsh took a step aside, revealing a man standing behind him.
The man turned around, smiling and saying, "Greetings, Saintess."
"It’s you!" Longwu exclaid in shock upon seeing Mr. Springs, "You... you’re not dead? You’re still alive?"
"Of course, I’m alive. Smart people don’t die; only idiots do." Mr. Springs stepped forward a few steps, kicking the snow on the ground, and said with a faint smile, "I have Fourth Master’s decree in my hand."
He extended his hand, revealing a treasure floating in his palm.
The treasure, like a holographic projection, slowly displayed an image in the air.
"Do you see it? Although Fourth Brother is dead, he left orders for us to kill you."
Mr. Springs put away the treasure, speaking without emotion.
He was Silvio Reed’s advisor, held in high esteem within the Ten Thousand Mountain Alliance.
Now that Mr. Springs had appeared, and with Trent Marsh nonetheless, Longwu genuinely started to feel fear.
Though her power was strong, it was far outmatched by the ferocity of the guards Silvio Reed had left behind.
Moreover, the appearance of Mr. Springs served to substantiate Trent Marsh’s words.
The backup Silvio Reed left would not be sothing trivial.
"I haven’t done anything wrong. Why would Silvio Reed do this?" Longwu feigned innocence.
"Didn’t you kill Silvio Reed in the Nine Provinces Mausoleum back then?" Mr. Springs countered with a question.
"But in truth, Silvio Reed didn’t die. He’s right here, nearby, waiting for you, waiting to take revenge on you!"
Mr. Springs extended his hand, clenched it into a fist, and sneered, "The body in the Nine Provinces Mausoleum wasn’t Silvio Reed at all! Silvio Reed isn’t dead; he remains, and he still rules this world!"
"Impossible!" Longwu widened her eyes, shaking her head, "How could it be!"
"All the plans back then were my calculations, including Silvio Reed faking his death and you killing him at the Drunken Man Pavilion. Because Silvio Reed intended to use your hand to eliminate those dissenters."
"You were being used and didn’t even realize it?" Mr. Springs looked at her with disdain.
This glare deeply provoked Longwu.
"If Silvio Reed isn’t dead, I’ll kill him again..."
"Dragon Kun, release the warriors I brought!"
