Now reading: Chapter 2455: Sweatblood Ridge from Legend of Dragon Son-in-law, a Action novel by Sky Luo.

A narrow mountain path.

Beyond this lies the renowned Blood Sweat Ridge.

Inside Blood Sweat Ridge, people have once stayed, but later all disappeared.

Satellites attempted to capture images, but they were shattered likewise.

There is so mysterious power inside, which nobody knows even now.

At present, martial artists from all over gather here, and even so mysterious powers that hide ti have co to join the excitent.

Nobody wants to miss out on this perfect opportunity.

A chance to reshuffle the deck!

Trent Marsh rode on a high horse, slowly leading in front.

The martial artists behind him followed suit, keeping a distance of about one kiloter.

Many martial artists have spontaneously ford alliances.

Seeing this, Julius Reed and the True Lord of Nine Nether snuck in, unnoticed, to join a group of foreign martial artists unfamiliar to them.

This way, no flaw exists.

A masked man, a blind man.

An unremarkable presence.

At first, everything went smoothly.

But when they reached less than three kiloters from Blood Sweat Ridge, anomalies began to appear.

"What’s happening, my satellite map isn’t working."

Soone tapped their phone, shaking it towards the sky, only to find there was no signal.

No signal ans they cannot contact the outside world.

This is very frightening.

Whatever occurs within Blood Sweat Ridge will remain a secret.

The dark sides of human nature grow unrestrained here.

"Where are you two from?" a fellow martial artist inquired.

"By the river, near the South Sea."

Following the True Lord of Nine Nether, Julius Reed pretended to be weak and feeble.

"Aren’t you two courting death by coming here?"

The companion snorted in disdain, saying, "I’ve made it clear, I can take you in, but inside Blood Sweat Ridge, you must fend for yourself."

"I understand." Julius Reed nodded.

"Deadweight."

Soone sneered.

As the team moved further away, they arrived at the gate of Blood Sweat Ridge.

The gate of Blood Sweat Ridge is a stone gate.

The narrow mountain path ends here completely.

Several massive stones stacked together, inscribed with crooked characters by soone saying Blood Sweat Ridge!

Passing through the stone gate, entering Blood Sweat Ridge, reveals an entirely different scene.

The grass is lush here, and the climate is humid.

One could say it’s a hidden paradise.

The environnt here is very suitable for grazing.

"What a wonderful place, but why has it beco a forbidden place?"

People around raised their heads to look at the sky, finding nothing unusual.

Why can they see the sky, but the sky cannot see here?

They were very surprised.

However, Trent Marsh continued to go further inside. The others, worried about missing the best opportunity, had no mind to wander around and could only follow Trent Marsh.

Fearful of missing out on the best opportunity.

Soon.

Darkness fell.

Trent Marsh set up camp to rest, and the martial artists, exhausted, sent their n to watch Trent Marsh while preparing to sleep.

"What do you think is happening?"

By the campfire.

A group began to chat idly.

"Normally, we can go a month without sleep with no issues, but now after just half a day, we’re exhausted like this?"

"How would I know! Besides, how is it dark at three in the afternoon? Outside, it’s five or six o’clock; does it get dark early here in Blood Sweat Ridge?"

"Rest when it’s dark; there might be a brutal fight later. Without supervision, without constraints, Blood Sweat Ridge is simply a paradise for evildoers."

After a few casual sentences, they fell asleep, exhausted.

But not long after, the sound of hooves woke many people.

"What’s going on!"

Awakened martial artists looked around but saw nothing.

"Where did the hoofbeats co from?"

As soon as the words fell, in the pitch-black night, a knife suddenly appeared, cutting his head off!

Imdiately after, the Obsidian Horse ran over his corpse, continuing forward.

"Outlaws! Watch out!"

Martial artists picked up their weapons, but their minds were imnsely dismissive.

Outlaws native to Blood Sweat Ridge?

Since they’ve co forward, let’s have a good slaughter!

But soon, they realized a very serious problem!

Inside Blood Sweat Ridge, their spiritual power seed sealed!

Without spiritual power, they were at best strong ordinary people.

Yet these outlaws acted like experts!

Often, one knife ant a life.

Even quite a few Great Grandmasters fell under the outlaws’ hands.

It was not until an unknown ti later that dawn slowly arrived.

The outlaws had long disappeared, leaving only bodies scattered across the ground.

"What is going on!"

Martial artists were surprised to discover their internal power had seemingly returned.

Several kiloters of battle line, with martial artist corpses scattered continuously.

The survivors numbered less than sixty percent.

Panic began to spread.

Fortunately, their power had returned.

With spiritual power, the outlaws were not to be feared!

"Did you lose your power last night as well?" Martial artists gathered to question each other.

"As soon as it got dark, I felt powerless, just like an ordinary person. When the outlaws ca, we couldn’t hold them off! Luckily, our power is back!"

"Alas, my brothers died too unjustly! A Great Grandmaster, beheaded by outlaws!"

There was hatred in the martial artists’ eyes, yet they also felt fear towards Blood Sweat Ridge.

"Sothing’s wrong, is our clock broken?"

A blood-soaked martial artist looked at his watch and exclaid: "Only four hours have passed! It’s not even eight o’clock!"

"Could it be eight in the morning?"

This remark sent shivers through everyone’s heart.

"Impossible! My date hasn’t changed, and my other electronic watch says it’s 19:40!"

He showed his watch, and silence fell around.

"Mine too, only four hours have passed."

"It’s just four hours..."

The unease began to spread.

"We found a surviving outlaw!"

At this mont, a shout from several hundred ters away caused the martial artists to rush over.

A man lay on the ground; his horse had long fled.

They could tell he was an outlaw because the man was shirtless, with a tattoo on his chest, and the knife he held was all too familiar.

"Did you kill our people last night?"

A martial artist stepped on the outlaw’s chest, angrily interrogating!

"You all will die." The outlaw laughed loudly.

His shoulder and leg were injured, unable to move.

Although the martial artists lost their spiritual power last night, they were not completely devoid of combat power.

Dozens of outlaws were killed.

But the martial artists themselves paid a heavier price!

"Speak, who are you people!"

Fueled by the loss of companions, a martial artist crouched down and struck the outlaw across the face!

"Speak!"

"Haha, what should I say? You have desecrated the divine, only death awaits you!"

"Look!" The outlaw pointed into the distance.

Following the direction of his finger, they saw yellow sand swirling up in the distance!
