Chapter 2458: Chapter 2458: Holy Light

Upon seeing this guy being so reckless, coupled with the scene earlier of those two being forced across the grassland.

So martial artists who witnessed the brutal death of the Lu family had a thought in their hearts.

Could it be that these two people in front of us are impostors?

Julius Reed quietly left with the blind man, trailing Trent Marsh inside.

Leaving two decoys as a smokescreen?

Based on their previous reactions, this is very likely the case.

The rest chose to selectively ignore, allowing a rash fellow to place his sword at Julius Reed’s neck.

“Tell , why aren’t you dead!”

This martial artist wanted to know the answer.

He always felt that these two strange people had a secret.

Otherwise, with so many people dying along the way, how could these two abnormal individuals be unscathed?

Not even injured!

Once or twice, luck can be explained, but isn’t this too lucky?

Continuous luck is suspicious.

“I am blind, I can’t see. The ignorant fear nothing, didn’t you know?” Julius Reed cleared his throat and said uncertainly, “Maybe, if you can’t see, you won’t be hard?”

He pointed at the Nine Nether True Monarch, “Look, this guy covers his face with a cloth, his eyes can’t see either.”

“Yes.” The Nine Nether True Monarch nodded.

Their duet made this martial artist sowhat believe them.

So of the surrounding martial artists also believed them.

After all, they had no way to explain this phenonon.

The healthy martial artists were all dead, yet these two were thriving!

“Everybody, try covering your eyes.” The martial artist who held the sword threateningly put away his sword, took a cloth from his chest, and covered his eyes.

The group continued to move forward.

Of course, there were still many martial artists who did not believe them.

They were suspicious, uncertain.

But if covering their eyes worked, they too would quickly follow suit.

After walking a few hundred ters, nothing happened.

But they were getting farther and farther behind Trent Marsh.

“Hurry up!”

The ones with their eyes covered urged Julius Reed and the Nine Nether True Monarch.

“Otherwise, I’ll just take out these few hundred people altogether.” The Nine Nether True Monarch was extrely dissatisfied.

If Julius Reed hadn’t been holding him back, he would’ve been ready to act.

He was a true monarch, and these mortals behind him chattering away were truly annoying!

“There’s a trap ahead, don’t rush.” Julius Reed communicated with the Nine Nether True Monarch through telepathy: “I need bait.”

“You can see?” The Nine Nether True Monarch looked ahead, seeing nothing.

The grassland had regained vitality, the grass was green.

Entirely different from those previous withered grasses.

“Yes.” Julius Reed stopped suddenly.

“What’s wrong?” The martial artist with covered eyes couldn’t hear footsteps, they asked aloud.

“I’m a bit tired.” Julius Reed sighed, pretending to be very fatigued.

“Useless!”

A blindfolded martial artist disdainfully cursed, thinking about how they’ve been safe all this ti, so he continued walking forward.

After just a few steps, he suddenly flew up!

Suspended in mid-air!

“Help! What’s going on?”

This martial artist hurriedly removed the cloth from his eyes, but before he could see his surroundings clearly, he suddenly exploded into a cloud of blood mist.

Dispersing over the grassland.

An eerie silence ensued.

Those who removed their eye coverings approached Julius Reed, angrily accusing, “Did you do this on purpose?”

“What do you an on purpose?” Julius Reed replied with an innocent expression, “I’m blind, what just happened?”

“Blind?” The deceased martial artist’s companion drew his sword, sneering, “I want to see if you’re really blind!”

As he spoke, he swung his sword down!

Aiming for Julius Reed’s neck!

The Nine Nether True Monarch was about to intervene, but rembering Julius Reed’s ability, he restrained himself.

The sword stopped less than a centiter from Julius Reed’s neck.

“He really is blind.”

This martial artist sheathed his sword, looking at the bloodstains on the ground, murmuring to himself, “Could it really just be a coincidence?”

When he struck, this blind guy didn’t have the slightest intention to evade.

His body didn’t even flinch.

This demonstrated one thing: the other party was truly blind.

Just as he was about to move forward, a thought suddenly struck him!

Blind may an sightless!

But does it an deaf?

Clearly, this guy wasn’t deaf.

If not deaf, he could hear sounds!

But if he heard sounds and still didn’t evade, could it not be an act?

Just as he prepared to turn back and question, he felt a push on his back.

This martial artist, losing control of his body, stumbled forward onto the grassland.

Instantly, he rose high into the air.

“Go.”

Julius Reed quickly stepped forward, passing under the man with the Nine Nether True Monarch.

As they just went past, a cloud of blood mist erupted behind them.

“What was it this ti?”

The Nine Nether True Monarch felt a chill for the first ti.

He couldn’t see anything.

Yet beneath this prairie, danger lurked around every corner.

“This ti, a whale.” Julius Reed shook his head, chuckling lightly: “Simply unbelievable, beneath the grassland, lies the bones of a whale. I’m really curious what the Bloodsweat Ridge originally was?”

With the dispersal of the God’s Eye, the enormous whale skeleton was clearly visible beneath the grassland.

And the whale intermittently spouted, hurling martial artists with its spiritual power when they passed, bursting them mid-air.

The stronger the martial artist, the longer they lasted, but eventually, inevitably t death.

The remaining recalled the initial scene of sacrifice, choosing an unfortunate scapegoat to throw up, making a quick dash across.

This ti, however, they miscalculated.

The dozen or so who ran through, like the sacrificed one, were all lifted into the air!

Blown to pieces.

Those remaining martial artists were dumbfounded, unsure of what to do to safely traverse the plains.

Julius Reed ignored them and casually continued walking ahead.

Up ahead, the sight of Trent Marsh’s team was now visible.

The martial artists, repeatedly trying, finally managed to bring over a hundred people at the cost of half their number.

These people were exhausted, their eyes filled with fear.

Their gaze towards Julius Reed beca even more subtle.

“The sky, it’s getting dark.” Suddenly, Julius Reed stopped and stood still.

As he finished speaking, everyone looked up, and indeed, it darkened once more.

“Grandson, grandpa’s back!”

In the darkness.

A voice rang out.

“It’s him!”

A young boy, utterly terrified!

For the owner of this voice was the bandit he had killed!

Could it be that the dead bandit really ca back to life?

The sound of hooves echoed once more.

And the martial artists’ spiritual power once again vanished.

Fear began to spread.

Every face bore astonishnt.

“Ah…”

A scream rang out.

The young martial artist who had previously cut off the bandit’s arms was now dead.

His body, within a short span, was slashed dozens of tis, beyond recognition.

A few bandits now brandished their blades, charging at Julius Reed.

“Light, sacred.”

Julius Reed extended his hand.

His fingertips suddenly erupted with a brilliant golden light!
