Chapter 575: Chapter 575: eting at the Noodle Shop_1

The wind was cold.

It made Julius Reed a bit hungry.

His ho was too noisy, and as soone who had already eaten, it wasn’t convenient for him to continue staying there.

Of course, it was Anna Harris who told him that he had already eaten.

At this ti, the street was not bustling.

Though the year’s end was near, the weather was rather cold, and the public naturally preferred to nestle at ho if it wasn’t necessary to go out.

Originally in a good mood, Julius Reed couldn’t quite explain why, but he suddenly felt a bit angry.

So, he proceeded to the hotel where the two were staying, following the address Aron Jackson had given him over the phone that afternoon.

There was a fast-food restaurant outside the hotel.

Chain beef noodle shop.

Julius Reed clearly walked past it, but then he slowly backed up.

At a seat near the window, two people were eating noodles.

His intuition told him that these two individuals were likely not simple.

“Hello. I’ll have a bowl of beef noodles,” he said.

Julius Reed pushed open the glass door of the restaurant and sat down directly next to the two people.

This ti was the dinner rush, and the seats were mostly full.

Sharing a table was nothing out of the ordinary.

“Ahem!”

Karen coughed upon seeing Julius Reed sit beside her.

“Excuse , would it be possible for you to change to another table?”

She didn’t like eating with strangers— it was awkward.

“Of course… It’s not convenient,” Julius Reed drew out the last word, then surveyed the scene and looked at Karen, “Or perhaps, you could pay and leave? To be honest, I myself don’t like sharing a table with old n either.”

“Hey!”

Karen, who was eating beef noodles, got angry.

“You’re calling an old man? Let’s reason this out,” she said.

She put down her chopsticks on the bowl and turned to face Julius Reed, “This spot, it was taken by first, right?”

“Are you eating or not?”

Julius Reed looked at Karen, his eyes clear, filled with nothing but disdain.

“Whether I eat or not is none of your business. How can you be so unreasonable? Not respecting elders and loving the young is one thing, after all, it’s a matter of your character. But let’s talk about this seat—it was clearly taken by first, what gives you the right to tell to leave?”

Karen’s stubbornness flared up and she couldn’t hold herself back.

anwhile, Terry Moore was thoroughly enjoying his al.

Two empty bowls already lay beside him.

“I’m asking you, are you eating or not? Is it that hard to answer?” Julius Reed said, spreading his hands in exasperation.

“Sir, would you like to find you another seat?”

Just then, a custor got up to leave, and the server quickly ca over to ask.

The dispute between the two had already drawn the attention of other patrons around them.

The restaurant cared about its image and couldn’t just watch as custors started arguing.

“Did you hear that? There’s a spot available, you can go now!” Julius Reed pointed to the newly vacated table.

It was a small table with seating for only two people.

Their current table could accommodate four people.

“Why should I? This spot was taken by first. You ca after, so you should be the one to move,” Karen said angrily, showing complete disregard for being reasonable.

“I’m asking you, are you going to eat? If not, then leave,” Julius Reed repeated his question.

“I’m not eating! But I’m not leaving either!” Karen grunted lightly, leaning back against the glass in a manner that suggested she was prepared to outlast Julius Reed.

“Ptui!”

As soon as her words ended, Julius Reed spat into her bowl of beef noodles.

There was still half a bowl left, with the top layer consisting of beef.

Karen had a habit: When eating, she always saved the best for last.

With beef noodles, she would eat all the noodles first and savor the beef at the very end.

“You! Are you crazy?” Karen’s eyes widened in disbelief as she stared at Julius Reed.

“You said you’re not eating. Since you’re not eating, why do you care if I spit in it or not?”

Julius Reed struck a victorious pose.

“Sir, your noodles.”

Just at that mont, the waiter arrived with Julius Reed’s beef noodles beside them.

“Ptooey!”

Karen spat, imitating the action.

But Julius Reed was quick with his hands and eyes and instantly moved the beef noodles out of the way.

Karen’s spit landed directly on the waiter’s face.

“Sir, what are you doing!”

Angered, the waiter snatched a napkin from the table and wiped his face with it.

“Let’s get one thing straight, I am going to eat this bowl of noodles. If you dare to put anything in it, you will be paying for it. Understand?”

After saying this to Karen, Julius Reed began eating his beef noodles with large bites.

“What a pervert!”

The waiter gave Karen a disgusted look and turned to walk away angrily.

“You… hehe, you think the old man can’t deal with you?”

A smile crept over Karen’s face.

He sat down, crossing his legs in an arrogant manner.

Terry Moore, seeing this action, took his own bowl of beef noodles and hurried over to a small table by himself.

Before Julius Reed could figure out what was going on, he slled an odor like a ten-year-old jar of pickled vegetables.

He frowned and saw that Karen had taken off his shoes.

“Pfft! What is that sll! Boss, is your sewer line leaking?”

“Oh my god! I’m disgusted! Boss, did sothing break in here?”

“I’m about to vomit from this stench! Where’s the boss, co out!”

Suddenly, there was a barrage of cursing from the custors throughout the restaurant.

“I’m here, I’m here, I’m the owner, you all… Blargh!”

The owner had just run out from the back when the stench knocked him over.

“I’m reporting this, the old man is taking off his shoes.”

Julius Reed stood up, pointing at Karen’s feet.

Luckily for him, he practiced breath control, otherwise he would have been overwheld by the stench.

This was the heart of the disaster zone.

“You! Get out!”

The owner glared at Karen and barked, “Out now!”

“Don’t you know how to respect your elders and cherish the young?”

Karen begrudgingly put his shoes back on, but the room was already filled with the stench.

“Out!”

The owner wanted to be respectful, but the sll was simply too overpowering.

He was a businessman, and with all the custors complaining loudly, even he felt nauseated. Wasn’t this just like smashing his own store?

“I’ll handle this!”

Julius Reed grabbed Karen with one hand and started heading towards the door.

“Terry Moore, what are you playing at, sitting over there? Co save now!”

Terry Moore had already gotten up and dashed over to Julius Reed before being called.

“Brother, let him go!”

He placed one hand on Julius Reed’s shoulder, his arm muscles bulging.

“The owner is kicking him out, I had to do sothing.”

Julius Reed looked back at Terry Moore, a sneer forming on his lips.

He pushed open the glass door and tossed Karen into the street.

From beginning to end, Terry Moore’s hand never left Julius Reed’s shoulder.

“Terry Moore, are you deliberately watching make a fool of myself?”

Karen, thrown to the ground, grimaced in pain, his eyes filled with anger.

“So, you want to fight?”

Julius Reed looked at the unflappable Terry Moore in front of him.

Now he was certain that Terry Moore was one of the two n Aron Jackson had talked about.

“I won’t fight you now, it would be picking on you.”

Terry Moore spoke indifferently while lifting his hand from Julius Reed’s shoulder.

“Is that right? You know I can’t beat you without even fighting?”

Julius Reed put his hands in his pockets, a mocking tone in his voice, “Well then, perhaps another day…”

Mid-sentence, his eyes rolled back, and he fainted to the ground.
