The father was taken aback for a mont, and suddenly realized.

A soft sigh.

"It's a minor issue, I can handle it."

Ji Jue took the tools, swapped tasks, and skillfully adjusted the linkage structure of the engine valves, his movents fluid and fast.

He never thought he could return to his old trade in a dream, he couldn't help but sigh with emotion.

It always felt like wherever this car went, it needed repairs... constantly being fixed.

Perhaps, he was ant to be a chanic.

"All done, see."

Ji Jue smiled, turned around, and looked beside him, only to find his father watching him silently and peacefully, so focused.

That kind of gaze, inexplicably made Ji Jue feel a bit uneasy.

"Wh... what's wrong?"

"No, it's nothing."

The father raised his hand, wiped the sweat off his forehead, and closed the hood: "You did a great job."

He thought for a mont and said, "Much better than ."

They washed their hands by the water pipe downstairs, the father scrubbing the engine oil off his hands with effort, suddenly asked, "If you don't leave now, you won't make it to work this afternoon, right?"

Ji Jue paused for a mont, wanting to speak, but heard his father's voice.

He said, "It's ti to go."

"..."

Ji Jue paused for a mont, nodded, "I should go say goodbye to mom..."

His father waved a hand, "I can tell her."

Saying this, he wiped his hands on his pants, and with so effort took the car key off the keychain, handed it to Ji Jue.

"Everything's fast-paced now, it's busy outside, don't be delayed, take my car."

Ji Jue hesitated for a mont, didn't take it: "What about you?"

"I'm already retired, going grocery shopping, a bicycle is enough, no need to waste gas."

The father slipped the car key into his hand, "It's an old model, just don't disdain it... when your mom and I got married, this was the car we drove.

"It really is quite old now."

"Originally, I planned to give it to you when you grew up." The father said, "But unfortunately... couldn't wait that long."

He was silent for a mont, softly said:

"I'm sorry."

"..."

Ji Jue stiffened, instinctively paused, looked up at him.

Almost unable to control his trembling and shock.

And found it hard to believe.

His father also looked at him, dully as always, still silent.

Just looking.

Looking.

"Go, Ji Jue."

He stood in the shadow of the past, gazing at Ji Jue in the sunlight, his habitual restraint showing no relief or sorrow, just a calm farewell:

"Go."

Ji Jue stood there frozen, holding the car key, watching him turn and leave, his figure disappearing into the hallway.

He instinctively wanted to follow, but an invisible wall rose before him, impossible to cross, not allowing him to look back.

The door, so close, had beco so distant.

Only the car beside him, self-started, the engine roaring, urging like a prompt.

The car door opened, waiting.

It's ti to go, Ji Jue, don't delay any further.

But... must he really go?

The mont he got in the car, it started moving automatically, carrying him forward slowly.

For a mont, Ji Jue wanted to hit the brakes, wanted to look back once more, but then he seed to feel the gazes cast towards his back.

Calm and tranquil, seeing him off, yet not wishing him to hesitate or delay any longer.

Don't look back, keep moving forward.

So, the car accelerated....

Faster and faster.

He heard the sound of breaking, continuous, it was the sound of the dream shattering, never-ending.... Yet why did it resound from the depths of his own soul?

From fragnted echoes, it gradually beca a world-shaking roar.

Everything dimd, faded, swiftly dissolving.

Unable to distinguish if it was the dissipation of the dream or the blur of tears.

In the slowly whitening remnants of the dream, on the balcony, those two figures silently watched the car fade away, lightly sighing.

"He must be far away by now, right?"

"Yeah."

"He'll go much farther, right?"

"Yeah."

"It's too hard doing this alone." the mother lightly sighed.

The father thought for a mont, shook his head, "He won't be alone."

"That would be wonderful."

The mother smiled, full of relief, looked at the person beside her, at his gaze, "To see him again, to see you again, it's really wonderful."

"Ah, too."

Thus, the departed illusions grasped each other's hands, nestling closely to each other.

Gradually, they disappeared, along with the dissipating dream, heading towards the distance.

Going to a place Ji Jue could not reach.

The car still moved forward, speeding, soaring like it was flying, everything outside the window had turned to streaks of light, everything blurred by tears.

Clearly an inescapable beautiful dream, yet it willingly let Ji Jue go.

They released their grip.

No matter how tightly Ji Jue held.

Laughing farewell, pushing him forward, further, further on!

So, Ji Jue moved forward.

Only the sound of breaking resounded, from the deepest part of Ji Jue's soul. Sothing awakened from the long dream, opened its eyes, struggling mightily, crawling out, roaring aloud.

Leapt towards the near-at-hand dream shadow.

Savage claws and fangs!

.

.

Boom!

The sound of breaking crashed once again towards the earth, already, riddled with holes.

"How many tis must it repeat, Wen Wen."

Wen Sheng gazed down at that broken face, sighed with regret: "Too late, and too weak... how much of yourself can you sacrifice and burn?"

No matter how many tis you kill Wen Sheng, it's of no use.

Just a montary glory and upper hand.

No matter how violent the force, if it cannot absolutely overturn the essence of this illusion dream with absolute violence, it will beco useless in Wen Sheng's repeated rebirths.
