For a mont, inhaling a sharp breath was the only sound that one could hear.
But in the stuffy underground, there was no cool place to be found, and what everyone drew into their bellies was only the pungent and scalding wind...
It was just a mont's sweep, a strand of rcury so thin it was almost invisible to the naked eye, that easily sliced through Lou Feng's hair.
To split hairs was no more than this.
Although most of the people present could easily achieve the sa effect, doing so undetected was impossible. What's more, wasn't there more than just this one strand freshly produced from the furnace?
Who could have imagined that after squatting beside the furnace for a night, Ji Jue could co up with such a bizarre murder tool for a secret chamber?
In an instant, even the look towards Lou Feng was filled with more respect—who would have thought that you, the Embers' craftsn, always so gentle and refined in appearance, were hiding such deadly tricks up your sleeves!
What incredible, groundbreaking work are you about to show off now?!
In the midst of impractical expectations, the corners of Lou Feng's eyes twitched repeatedly, his gaze crossing over the broken stubbles of hair on his forehead to glare at Ji Jue.
That damned guy definitely did it on purpose just now!
Ji Jue smiled innocently, pretending to be unaware of what had happened.
After a brief period of practice, the operation beca even smoother. The liquid rcury flowed and changed shapes between his fingers, like kneading dough; with every fold and stretch, the quantity of rcury strands doubled while becoming even finer.
Eventually, between his hands, it seed as if hanging curtains of flowing silver light.
When those myriad fine strands fell, spilling onto the ground, the luster flowing between them rippled like water waves, swaying seductively—a spectacular sight to behold.
"It's done."
Ji Jue's index finger and thumb ca together, carefully pinching to gauge the feeling and thickness like silk, estimating the diater.
After a lot of careful refining, the blessing of Heavenly Skill had grown so much that a single touch provided detailed data. It could even rival professional equipnt when asuring to the third decimal place.
0.012 milliters, close to one denier.
If one were to control it deliberately, it could go even lower. While maintaining operation and control, it should be reducible to about 0.3 denier, but that was pointless—there was no need to go that low.
Ji Jue's hands ca together, the flowing millions of rcury strands rging again, or intertwining without resistance, entangled at the gentle crossing of his fingers, and in a blink, they turned into a shimring silver kerchief.
As he lifted his hands, it began to expand endlessly with a shake, covering the entire shelter with just over twenty grams.
No matter how much Ji Jue pulled or tore at it, there was no sign of breakage or splitting from the stretching and deformation.
All the strength ca from the blessing that had been fused into it.
Among the series of blessings from the Ruins, there was one that was almost the opposite of the Golden Iron Quality—the Supre Resilience blessing!
While the Golden Iron Quality served to harden the material, increasing its hardness, the effect of Supre Resilience was to soften the substance to the extre, gaining unimaginable toughness and stretchability.
When the two were combined, the brittleness of Golden Iron Quality was compensated for, and when faced with impact, the elasticity offered a transformative stabilization of structure.
A blend of hardness and softness.
The strength of the rcury Creation saw a major upgrade, and its versatility was further enhanced. With the Supre Resilience, Ji Jue could now overco the limitation of not being able to reproduce cable-type materials with rcury.
If one were to use a human analogy, if Golden Iron Quality were the bones supporting the fra, then without a doubt, Supre Resilience would be the muscles, capable of fulfilling the needs of the Transmission function.
With clever integration and use, the applications were virtually endless!
"Indeed the work of a master craftsman!"
Ji Jue exclaid, "To ensure such precision in that chaotic environnt and ticulously extract such a complete blessing, thank you so much, Mr. Lou!"
This was what Lou Feng quickly scraped off from a Ruins Chosen One during the raid on a branch of the Evil Cult. A rare opportunity, indeed; Golden Iron Quality wasn't uncommon for the Ruins, but it was very rare to find a Chosen One with such a specialized blessing as Supre Resilience early on.
For this, Ji Jue had willingly given up most of the materials from the workshop that he didn't need, using them to pay the crafting fee.
They were found items anyway, nothing to lant over.
But master craftsmanship was truly useful...
Who could have invented such a matrix, a piece of genius work?
At this mont, catching the eager and passionate look from Ji Jue, Lou Feng scoffed, "Quit pining after my stuff; it's the best there is!"
I know exactly what you're up to, you damn dog.
You're eyeing my Matrix again, aren't you!
"Oh my, how could I possibly!"
Ji Jue shook his head with a sigh, "You speak as if I'm that kind of person!"
"Don't you know yourself?" Lou Feng was almost laughed by anger, "If your damn dog eyes could spend less ti leeching off my Matrix, I might actually believe you!"
We're all Embers here; everyone knows what you're pondering.
"If you're really grateful, then stop beating around the bush."
Lou Feng looked down at the rcury Creation in Ji Jue's hands, constantly transforming, soft or hard at will, "A re Golden Iron Quality blessing might be passable, but it's essentially an incomplete product.
But how did you incorporate the Supre Resilience blessing?"
rcury as a material, Lou Feng had seen and used it before, to say it was versatile was an understatent—it was customary, whether it was added as an agent to neutralize reactions or used to filter and extract impurities.
