"Have you made your decision, Tao Cheng?"

In the afternoons of yesteryear, the craftsman holding a cane sighed softly, "Once you take this step, there will be no turning back."

"Regret?"

An elderly Heavenly Person sighed lightly, as if mocking himself, "Such a feeling, I haven't experienced in a long while."

The craftsman fell silent.

Tao Cheng stared blankly out the window at the sunlight for a long ti, "Do you think, if we could save Spring City, it could truly make up for the mistakes we've made?"

"Right or wrong is not important to a craftsman."

"But it is very important to ."

Tao Cheng turned his head, looking at him, "We can't just keep making more mistakes."

"I will do my best."

The craftsman leaning on the cane nodded and stepped aside, "You must understand, whether you succeed or not, from this mont on, you will likely beco Tian Yuan's vessel, enduring tornt, living in Hell."

"Hell?"

Tao Cheng suddenly turned back, gazing into the rising Fla Light within the lting Furnace.

Blazing nonstop, flas danced.

Illuminating his pupils.

When he ca back to his senses, he had already propped up his withered body, unable to contain his joy, and he smiled.

"Then that is just perfect!"

And so, he walked with his head held high into the Fierce Fla and Hell.

Never to be seen again.

The Fla Light from the mories dissipated, and as the onrushing wind faced him, the world seed to spin.

Everything was ascendant.

Rushing toward him.

The breeze was so pleasant.

He had never thought that the view while falling could be so delightful.

From his trance, he seed to see neon lights turning on beneath the night sky, the wind howling as if the streets were still bustling, with human voices and shouts coming from afar.

Bustling streets.

Just like many years ago...

"After going around in circles all my life, it turns out it's all right here."

He muttered softly, a smile creeping over his wrinkled face: "Everyone, are you all doing well?"

No one responded.

Spring City was dead silent, like a corpse, bathed in black rain.

No more of the gentle lights of the past.

So indifferent.

Why get involved with this place?

Even he couldn't figure it out.

He was simply tired of dealing with those guys in Central City and impulsively set out on a journey without purpose or direction, wandering around.

He liked the coastal climate but couldn't stand the dampness, so he settled in Spring City.

Just staying temporarily for a few days.

With neither friends nor morable stories. He couldn't even claim affection or longing, everything was utterly mundane, utterly ordinary...

Until the days he thought would last forever unexpectedly collapsed and Destruction ca.

Should he leave?

He should have left, should have forcefully decided to stay away.

He hesitated.

And while he agonized over it, it was already too late.

One minute.

Just one minute.

So perhaps everything that could have been saved was completely gone due to his hesitation.

They all died.

The banyan tree basking in the sunlight, the quiet and secluded alleys, the horns on the roads, the school's broadcasts, the bustling crowd on the street, the clerk dozing quietly behind the counter, and the fisherman squatting futilely by the river at midnight, together with the city itself.

Everything mundane and boring that had been more precious than any treasure to everyone had vanished. That was the end.

What remained were only wails and shouts, echoing in his ears forever...

"Save , please save ."

Such voices, accompanied by unacknowledged tears, were buried in darkness.

I'm sorry.

Even confessions and pleas were aningless now.

From that day on, he lived in a Hell called sha. The so-called sacrifices and heroic acts, the so-called Endurance and compassion, were nothing compared to such pain.

From the mont he awoke to today, all these years, he had never dared to return here.

He feared recognizing his own unrecognizable self among the countless weathered relics.

Yet now, as Gao Yuan the Heavenly Person fell from the sky, he felt incredibly calm as the weight of the earth called to him, and everything he couldn't salvage seed to return.

No more agony or sha.

So peaceful.

In the midst of his gradual shattering and disjointed fall, he basked in the onrushing wind, spreading his arms wide for the last ti.

There was an instant when everything seed different.

The afternoon cicadas sounded again, the bustling streets crowded, the damp hot wind blowing straight at him, carrying the scents of plants and the ocean.

Among the crowd, the traveler gone for many years carried his bag, lost as he looked around.

Lifting his head, he saw everything in front of him.

Gradually coming to a realization.

"Hey, such great tis..."

Tao Cheng smiled and closed his eyes.

Letting the sound of the Tide Sound rise.

Blowing away the old tis of the past.

Tick tock.

A crisp sound arose.

When the dazzling tide of the dissolving Heavenly People spread out, drifting down crystal-like, illuminating everything buried in darkness over a lengthy ti.

So, everything seed once more to be given color.

The green bricks and stones, the collapsing gray skyscrapers, the dust-covered yellow signs, the black ruins covered in cobwebs, the pale relics, and the blood-like sin-filled rain andering.

Finally, when the brilliant light faded away, the last remaining things fell to the earth.

Like crystal-clear dew.

So light.

The resplendent trails cutting through the night, sinking into the earth.

In the silent darkness, what was stirred up was a series of dazzling tidal waves!
