The sound of a light laugh arose, so familiar.
As if it had been awaited for a long ti.
Suddenly, from behind the thick clouds, it seed as if so colossal entities collided, and then, endless blood poured down like a torrential rain.
And at that mont, the high tower, the serpent, the Blood Eye, the Huangliang Remains, and even Wen Sheng, all lted away in the intense light, evaporating into nothingness.
When the last ray of intense light faded, in the dead silence of heaven and earth, only the ravaged island and the charred earth remained.
When the eager sailors stepped onto the land, looking around and touching the sand and soil beneath their feet, they couldn't help but burst into tears, shouting in excitent.
"Fertile soil! Fertile soil!! Fertile soil!!!"
The n of the Northern Realm wept with joy, embracing each other, shouting and cheering in such a raucous way.
But Ji Jue could no longer pay attention.
He stepped over the broken reefs, heading towards the burnt tower in a hurry, searching, and finally saw that lonely figure. Just like a shadow, about to disappear in the next mont.
Once again running away.
When she turned back, looking at Ji Jue who was pursuing her, she seed amazed, but soon, it was as if she understood sothing.
Once again, she smiled.
So brilliant.
"It feels like I owe you again, Ji Jue."
Wen Wen tilted her head and asked, "Got any wine?"
"Of course."
Ji Jue nodded decisively and smiled: "As long as you don't leave again, there's plenty of wine!"
And so, they drank till they were thoroughly inebriated, the boisterous banquet lasting till the next day. When Ji Jue opened his eyes once more, he discovered that he was still holding her hand.
As Wen Wen, awakened from her dream, opened her eyes and saw his startled expression, she smiled and willingly held his hand tighter: "What, still afraid I might run away again?"
"Yes..."
Ji Jue sighed gently, avoiding her gaze, "If you run away, where would I find you again?"
But her hand lifted again, forcing him to turn his head, making him look at her, her eyes shining brilliantly as she smiled.
"Then I won't go."
She said, "Let's go back together."
"Alright."
Ji Jue looked into those eyes and involuntarily found himself in a daze.
Forgetting where he was.
"Wake up."
Soone shook his shoulder: "Wake up, Ji Jue."
"Huh?"
Like waking from a dream, Ji Jue snapped back to reality, only to see the familiar figure beside him.
"What's wrong?"
Wen Wen asked in confusion, "Didn't sleep well last night?"
"No, just a bit tired." Ji Jue smiled as he answered, looking at the reflection in the full-length mirror, the pure white dress trailing on the floor, adorned with crystals reflecting a brilliant shimr, so dreamlike.
Yet it couldn't compare to her eyes.
Like he was making her feel embarrassed, Wen Wen seed uneasy, her cheeks slightly flushed, avoiding his gaze: "Does this outfit suit ? I've never worn sothing like this before..."
"It suits you, very much so."
Ji Jue answered decisively, admiring her shy appearance, finding it unbelievable: "It's like a dream."
"Is it a sweet dream?"
"Yes, just like a sweet dream."
Ji Jue reached out, embracing her slender waist, admiring the intimate reflection of them both in the mirror: "Perhaps, at this very mont, I am in a dream."
With that, Wen Wen smiled again, embracing him, leaning closer, her soft lips unadorned yet glowing with a crystal-like shimr, her breath gentle.
Feeling that fulfillnt never present in dreams, Ji Jue stood in place, puzzled, and after a long mont, laughed self-mockingly: "If only this weren't a dream."
So, was there such a greedy desire in my heart before?
He lifted Wen Wen's chin, unthinkingly approaching, feeling that sweetness as unreal as a dream.
Slam!
The sound of shattering rang out.
With the burst and impact of the spiritual force, Ji Jue's vision suddenly went dark, yet everything just now seed like an illusion, vanishing in an instant.
Once again, he opened his eyes.
He saw the Demon Realm, close at hand, Punabantu still shrouded in Illusion and mist, unchanged.
It all hasn't begun yet.
Right from the start, had he already... fallen into it?
Ji Jue suddenly sighed softly.
And as he awoke from his dream, from deep within the deserted island, ca the hissing and roaring of the great serpent.
As if, incredulous.
"The plot's good, but it's a pity, too many clichés jamd in, the character settings twisted way too much." Ji Jue regretfully lanted, "Still need more practice."
Boom!!!
In the piercing shriek, the Spiritual Fluctuation erupted, violently awakening one consciousness after another subrged in the dream, while at the sa ti, the Fusion Bomb descended from the sky.
Brutally unleashing blinding light and Destruction.
In the savage onslaught, the battle reignited.
Soon, with the Tears of Isis fired once again, the tower was severed midsection, reduced to ashes. And at this mont, beneath the massive rcury halo occupying the sky, countless blades hung suspended, plunging down like rain, nailing the giant serpent to the ground.
Until that very last mont, the serpent's remaining single eye still gazed at him, incredulous.
"How could it be... you..."
Slam!
The blade fell, slicing it in two, blood streaming like a waterfall, rampantly flowing.
Behind Ji Jue, cheers resounded once more, faces filled with joy and delight, gesturing wildly, celebrating the imminent future to be nurtured on this fertile soil.
