Mia was enthusiastic that she t with her big brother again. Felix would barely have ti for her, but it was her fault.
When Felix invited her to join him in ditating outside, she rejected. She still wanted to sleep in the evening, so her sleeping schedule doesn’t align with Felix.
There was no way for her to sleep at the morning, not even Krisha was the sa.
After being sweet with her brother in less than a minute, Felix was showered with complaints about the basic stances he set as the conditions to be completed. Mia violently shook her brother’s body while demanding for a sword technique she wanted to practice.
Felix laughed hard when Mia brought him the wooden sword she bought with Krisha’s money.
Staring at her face, who was now appearing cute and pity to look at, his face turned straight.
He sighed. "Like I said, you can’t possibly practice sword techniques as it is physically demanding when your body had just moved after staying at one place for years."
He then inspected her body with his hands, pinching her muscles, causing her to scream in pain.
Staring at her, rolling her body around in Krisha’s bed, muffling in agony, Felix shrugged.
He said, "See? The force I used wasn’t even compared to executing sword techniques. Until you can endure the pain only then I will have you practice sword techniques."
Krisha stared at Mia, frowning, and smacked Felix’s shoulder.
She didn’t hold back her strength, causing Felix to be startled and felt as though his shoulder was to leave his body.
He stared at Krisha with a furrowed eyebrow.
Before he could say anything, Krisha said in an indignant tone, "Be easy with your sister!"
Felix was taken aback. He smiled awkwardly.
"Be easy with , too. I might be injured before our duel."
Krisha rolled her eyes. "Much better, then."
She then went to Krisha and comforted her.
Felix was dumbfounded. He wondered who Mia’s elder sibling was—him or Krisha. The latter acted way more as an elder sibling than him.
While Krisha comforted Mia, the latter had the chance to playfully mocked his elder brother without Krisha seeing it.
Felix simply rolled his eyes and said without a voice, "You deserve it."
Mia read his lips and understood what he said, and she suddenly cried even more, causing Krisha to reprimand Felix again.
Felix was speechless. He turned around and left, not really angry at all.
He smiled as he closed the door. He was glad that Krisha and Mia was doing well, even at an expense of him being bullied by them.
He sighed. Girls do indeed look for each other.
...
For the rest of the night, Felix ditated outside. He did not spend his ti scrolling social dia. In fact, the urge to scroll on social dia as soon as he felt bored terrified him.
He fell into indulgent of scrolling short form of videos and engagent in social dia before. After realizing he spent an awful amount of ti traumatized him.
Hence, he imdiately practiced sword techniques, ditated deeply, and repeating the sa action again and again.
He also visualized his battle against Krisha utilizing the knowledge about her duel against Damian.
Dawn arrived and Felix felt more refreshed than before.
When he opened his eyes, Master Shen was standing in front of him, having a serene smile on his face.
Felix stood up and politely bowed.
Unlike before where Felix would hastily stand up and panicked, he was now composed and unhurried, giving Master Shen a smile.
He thought. It’s only been more than a month and yet so many things have changed. He has grown.
Felix said, "Greetings, Master Shen."
Master Shen nodded. "Mhm. Raise your head."
Felix did as he told and then tilted his head upward, Master Shen was taller than him.
Master Shen said, "When will you be leaving in the dojo?"
Felix smiled bitterly. "After my duel with Krisha. I still have matters to attend to."
"Mhm. I’ll also be attending in the Annual National dical Assembly."
Felix understood what Master Shen ant. So, he’s aware, huh? Doctor Eleanor must have told him. Are they acquaintance?
"Thank you," said Master Shen. His smile beca radiant after his eyes shone. "I hope you’ll keep your promise."
Felix was taken aback. He panicked sowhat, attempting to recall the "promise." He simred down after rembering what it was.
He smiled. "Yes, Master Shen. I do indeed plan to establish a dojo. This may be too bold to say but I don’t want to carry the future of the city or the humanity entirely alone. I also want to pass my legacy.
I want to be rembered before I die, so that it will remind that I have truly live a life."
Master Shen smiled. He shook his head afterwards.
"You won’t die if you are rembered."
Felix laughed. He understood what Master Shen had said, so he didn’t disagree.
Master Shen was a man of limited words. Soon as his main intention to talk with him has been settled, he instantly disappeared without leaving a farewell ssage.
However, Felix didn’t mind. He understood Master Shen again for refusing to bid farewell.
Master Shen himself had already said he’d be attending the Annual National dical Assembly, so they would still et each other.
Master Shen had already expressed what he wanted to convey, so that brief conversation was already settled.
Felix smiled. He liked Master Shen’s temperant. He also wished to beco like him.
He stood up while Moon yawned from his shoulder. Rain on the scabbard shone brightly as well, welcoming the sunlight into warming him and his master.
Felix turned towards Moon and asked, "We’ll fight against Krisha again. Are you ready?"
Moon showed off her right paw and extended her claws. She smirked.
Felix laughed and nodded.
They then proceeded to their personal quarters, contacted Krisha to have a lunch together after sleeping five hours straight, strictly inviting Mia to join, and finally relaxed themselves by walking around the Azure Cleave Dojo one last ti...
