After Felix and Krisha finished eating, they decided to bring their beast pets first out of their beast quarters and strolled around the Azure Cleave Dojo before their duel later.
For the past few days, except for ditating, visualizing, and practicing, they also spent a brief of their ti examining the beast sync arena, especially when two inner disciples dueled.
They learned that every month, the rankings of the inner disciple would officially be acknowledged.
For instance, if a Top 5 inner disciple got defeated by Top 7, the latter wouldn’t imdiately enjoy the benefits of becoming Top 5, such as earning his room.
He had to solidify his position in stealing the Top 5 rank for a month first.
Currently, it was the third week of June and there was only another single week left before the month ended.
Felix planned to battle against inner disciples only at the start of July, so that, before he left a week before the month ended, he would finally reached Top 1.
Afterwards, the Top 1 would then remained vacant for challenges until August.
That week would be the longest week in the history of Azure Cleave Dojo.
Just thinking about it made his blood boiled.
As Felix spectated on the duel between inner disciples, he realized that fighting against them with beast pets present would be tantamount to suicide.
All of their beast pets were at the Rare rank, reaching maturity and have developed an instinct in fighting that was comparable to humans.
Hence, it wasn’t surprising that the beast sync arena had more audience than the Mist Courtyard Ramble.
To begin with, an spectator could see nothing but mists, so why would it explode with popularity for spectating?
Felix himself was intrigued in watching the duel in the beast sync arena.
He also learned a lot.
After they brought their beast pet, Felix and Krisha walked side by side, deciding to proceed towards the beast sync arena.
As there were three hours left, they decided to listen to Instructor of the Beast Sync Arena.
His lessons were enlightening and addicting. Felix was also familiar with him, he was Frank, who also supervised the beast quarters.
Instructor Frank was delighted that Felix and Krisha were finally listening to his lessons for the past week.
All his students were mostly outer and inner disciples combined. The beast sync arena’s lesson were more important than the Mist Courtyard’s lesson.
It was simple, the Mist Courtyard’s lesson established a foundation of a beast tar to learn about their sword techniques, while the beast sync arena solidified their role as a beast tar and as a sword cultivator.
The lesson lasted for hours—with instructions, drills, and exercises.
Afterwards, when there were half an hour left before the beast sync arena would occur, Instructor Frank dismissed the students.
The inner and outer disciples instantly dispersed—most were planning to ditate and rest, accompanied by their beast pets, to prepare themselves for the beast sync arena.
Along the way, they encountered Felix and Krisha. The inner disciples glared at Felix while the outer disciples were quite excited if Felix was finally participating in the beast sync arena to challenge an inner disciple.
Still, they were unsure. Last week, an inner disciple, after spotting Felix standing above the raised stone periter around the arena, seemingly looking down at them as Instructor Frank was having his lesson, challenged Felix after Instructor Frank dismissed them.
However, Felix didn’t hesitate to refuse—claiming he would only begin challenging the inner disciples at the start of July.
The inner disciples mocked him, declaring he was a coward for refusing. However, the outer disciples were not fools. They understood that Felix simply understood his limits.
He had already proven himself to be superior against the inner disciples only in sword fighting. As for real duel as a beast tar? Felix understood his limits—his beast pet hadn’t reached Rare rank yet, or at least, got matured.
When a beast pet reached Rare rank, despite it being in juvenile stage, it would forcefully evolve to an adult stage.
This phenonon was only possible if the beast pet was three stars and above.
Since Felix growth was monstrous, they believed it would be the sa as his beast pet. It might appeared that his beast pet was only two stars, they were confident that it was as deceiving as Felix.
They looked forward of its growth.
None of the inner and outer disciples asked if Felix would be participating since Felix himself declared he would issue a challenge to the inner disciple a day before.
He was like telling them to prepare before fighting him.
It was an another arrogant statent again, but this ti, the outer disciples didn’t interpret it unlike last ti.
As they wondered if Felix would be participating again, they were stunned to see him and Krisha going down to the modular terrain floor.
The outer disciples were excited, the inner disciples narrowed their gazes at them.
Instantly, whispers echoed around outside the beast sync arena as the inner disciples caught wind of their conversation.
"He did not publicly issued a duel against an inner disciple, right?"
"He did not."
"Wait, he and Krisha might be fighting against each other. Rember, they dueled last week. They might duel again this ti."
"That’s plausible! I wonder, who’s stronger between them?"
"We get to finally witness them fighting with their beast pets. I wonder if Felix’s beast pet is as strong as Krisha’s? Hers is a three stars, right?"
"I wonder, too. As far as I rember, Felix’s beast pet belong to the species of Snowpelt Cat. But, we can’t be deceived. We got already fooled by the one he summoned."
"Right. Who would have thought that the old rusty dull sword is actually an exquisite one? Rumored to have reached Unique rank right after Master Vey himself restored it?"
Countless murmurs surrounding mostly about Felix echoed about the outer disciples. The inner disciples glared at them to silence their mouth, feeling uncomfortable from their tone.
After all, they seed excited of Felix’s actions rather than previous usual mockery at him...
