A young guy sat on a small open space between a bubble tea shop and a convenience store. He looked about the sa age as Li Younan, or maybe a bit younger.

He wore an ordinary white cotton t-shirt, with slightly long hair tied ssily in a small bun at the back.

His fingers plucked and slid across the guitar strings with smooth, fluid movents. He wasn’t playing anything complex, just a soothing, folk-like lody that sounded familiar but its na wouldn’t co to mind right away.

After finishing a prelude, he cleared his throat, not loudly, but with a clean and sowhat youthful clarity, then began to sing.

"The lazy wind of July, even the clouds turn warm and hot..."

Li Younan went to buy a bottle of water.

The young guy was still in the sa spot, his fingers plucking strings, singing gentle tunes that blended in with the street’s background noise.

The guitar case lay open by his feet, with a few notes of small change and a paynt QR code printed on white paper stuck to the edge, reflecting a bit in the sunlight.

Just then, a gust of wind ca unexpectedly.

It wasn’t a breeze, but a wind spinning close to the ground with so force.

"Whoosh——!"

A few one-yuan bills fluttered up instantly, spinning half a ter away and scattering on the sidewalk.

The young guy gasped, instinctively reaching out to grab them.

But the wind wasn’t done yet.

It lifted the QR code from the edge of the guitar case.

The thin piece of paper soared upwards lightly, carried by the wind straight into the air.

The young guy’s hand froze in mid-air, his eyes followed the white paper as it rose.

The paper gracefully swept over the heads of people in line, landing with surprising precision on... the outer wall beside the bubble tea shop.

The position was quite high.

The young guy kept his neck craned, his gaze fixed in the air.

The corner of his mouth twitched slightly.

Li Younan stood a few steps away, the mouth of a water bottle in his lips, nearly choked.

With the paynt QR code blown away, it beca a bit tricky for generous passersby to pay him; nobody carries much cash these days.

Li Younan watched the scene with interest, then leisurely walked over to the young guy, also looking up at the QR code on the wall. The wall was the side of the bubble tea shop, not very high, just under 4 ters.

But an ordinary person certainly couldn’t reach it.

Li Younan is not ordinary.

He thought for a mont and said to the young guy, "Step aside for a bit."

The young guy was puzzled, "What?"

Li Younan pointed to the QR code above, "I’ll get it down for you."

The young guy’s expression turned strange. Though his brain hadn’t caught up...basic common sense still told him...this was unlikely.

While the young guy was dazing out, Li Younan made a small jump and scaled the wall directly.

His foot pushed against the cent wall, his body rising vertically, springing quite high; at the highest point, his other foot followed. One hand grazed for balance; the other reached high and gently plucked the QR code off.

The young guy watched with his neck stretched back, his mouth gaping unconsciously.

When Li Younan landed, there was still the sound of the wind brushing by.

Li Younan handed over the QR code, and the young guy silently accepted it, staring blankly at the code.

Qinggong...?

Li Younan pointed to his guitar. "With skills like that, why not play in a bar? You’d probably make more money."

Only then did the young guy snap out of it, slowly putting the QR code away and saying, "Bars...don’t open during the day."

Li Younan and the young guy were sitting on a long bench by the roadside for a break.

Camphor tree branches stretched crookedly, with patches of sunlight sifting through, flickering and dancing over heads and between advertisents, shadows casting high on the grayish walls.

The young guy seed to be from a well-off background; his guitar alone was worth nearly ten thousand. His playing level wasn’t outstanding, but he sang quite well...a voice that Li Younan envied.

Of course, singing isn’t sothing impossible to learn. As long as you’re not tone-deaf from birth, a normal person, no matter how bad their voice is, can always practice. So one day acquiring a singing skill theoretically isn’t out of the question.

The two of them chatted randomly for a while. For Li Younan, this was a boring period, a perfect ti to pass the ti.

Li Younan didn’t exaggerate or hide his identity intentionally, simply saying he was a travel blogger, driving a car, planning to tour the country.

Those into folk music tend to have a bit of a romantic streak.

Living like Li Younan wasn’t uncommon; there were plenty of similar bloggers. But the young guy had never t one in person before, so he was very impressed when he did.

He expressed his amazent a few tis, then pulled out his phone to find out Li Younan’s account and follow him.

When he saw the parkour videos on Li Younan’s account, he blinked, confirming that the guy over 1.8 ters tall sitting beside him in person was indeed the one in the video.

The young guy asked, "Is that really you in the video? You’re amazing! I wanted to learn flips like that as a kid. Is there any trick to this kind of stuff?"

Trick? Li Younan thought for a mont, stood up, and said, "If there’s a trick, it’s to not be afraid. That’s the most important thing."
