In response, Huang Xiaoyang had been ntally preparing Dan Dan, telling her before she fell asleep that if she ever felt tired, they could stop at any ti.

Li Younan, in these three days, had gotten to know a Huang Xiaoyang that felt sowhat unfamiliar to him.

For instance, Xiaoyang speaking so gently to a girl was sothing Li Younan hadn’t expected.

But co to think of it, he did have so stereotypes.

And indeed, Dan Dan was feeling a bit tired.

Even though most of these days she hadn’t been doing much besides traveling, taking photos, posing, and many of their wedding photos had been taken without makeup, which people usually keep touching up...

Still, the constant travel gradually wore away their enthusiasm.

However, for today’s journey, she had been ntally prepared for a long drive on the road, even anticipating so bumps, so when Li Younan drove steadily and smoothly, it was unexpectedly comforting.

Cracking open the car window, the chilly air rushed in, carrying the scent of hay and dust.

The border road was mostly paved, but it was old and unrepaired, with potholes and subsidence everywhere.

The U8 had a heavy chassis, which dampened the car’s shaking over these potholes, leading to more of a dull "thud" sound on the steering wheel and seats rather than violent jolts.

The crunching sound of the tires over the gravel road was a constant background noise.

On the left, a barbed wire fence and boundary markers clearly indicated the national border.

The Erguna River flowed calmly at this mont, in a shade approaching tallic gray-blue, with Russian villages quietly anchored on the horizon, evoking a strong sense of distance.

Occasional sparse smoke or horse silhouettes along the river could be seen on the other side.

This close-border driving made Li Younan instinctively focus more on the road ahead, with his glance across the river more restrained.

They encountered several waterlogged stretches along the way.

The October river water was ice-cold, deep enough to cover much of the tires.

The U8’s water crossing mode indicator turned on, the chassis automatically elevated, and as it entered the water, the sound of water crashing against the chassis beca more robust, yet the car’s posture remained exceptionally stable, cutting through the water evenly, with splashes effectively redirected by the wide tires.

The wheels rolled over the riverbed stones, vibrations clearly transmitted, until steadily climbing the riverbank slope where the water sounds faded, leaving only the engine’s low hum and tire noise.

The car was indeed excellent, and using electricity was convenient as well, and if converted into a camper, the experience would be even better, though the price was regrettably high.

During the journey, Li Younan stopped the car at many places to help them take photos.

It was clear that even Huang Xiaoyang was getting a bit bored with the shooting.

Think about it; it’s quite sad that this kind of wedding photo supposedly wouldn’t be viewed for years after being taken, yet both of them were still earnest in their shooting.

Approaching Heishantou, the terrain started to undulate, with neat rolls of hay visible on the fields along the road.

The sky darkened as the sunset stained the western clouds with a dim orange-red, but the light was no longer sufficient to brighten the ground, and the grassland entered twilight early.

The car lights automatically turned on, beams slicing through the growing gloom, illuminating the increasingly rugged and potholed asphalt road ahead.

With sparse lights and road signs in sight, Li Younan’s body relaxed from the long-drive focus, his ankle feeling a touch weary.

And at this mont, Li Younan received a clock-in task.

The task content made Li Younan a bit speechless—to watch the sunset at Heishantou.

As everyone knows, watching the sunset is sothing that must be done before the sun sets.

The original plan was to arrive around four or five in the afternoon, but due to so delay by Dan Dan, and Li Younan drove more slowly to ensure safety, they had already missed the sunset upon arrival.

That was now a bit troubleso.

If Li Younan had co alone, it would be no big deal, he’d just wait for a day.

But this ti, he was accompanying Huang Xiaoyang, which complicated things.

While pondering this, Dan Dan let out a sowhat frustrated sigh, "I’m sorry, it caused us to miss the sunset."

Huang Xiaoyang remained silent.

Their plan today originally highlighted the sunset, even imagining the night’s photo title as "Love Before Sunset Glow."

Feeling guilty, Dan Dan pursed her lips and looked at Huang Xiaoyang, "Don’t be angry."

Then the next mont, Huang Xiaoyang knocked on her head again.

With his usual nonchalant tone, Huang Xiaoyang said, "Why be angry, there’s no sunset tonight, just stay another day, it’s not a big deal."

Li Younan watching this scene, laughed silently. This duo on the journey had fed him countless acts of affection, and "it’s not a big deal," was indeed his catchphrase too.

Huang Xiaoyang looked at Li Younan, gently coughing, "Regarding the itinerary..."

Before he finished speaking, Li Younan lazily waved his hand, "Of course, you take the lead, isn’t it just staying another day?"
