Chapter 1244: Chapter 1244: Born Singer (Part 24)

Chuzheng was originally going to a concert, but received a video call halfway there.

On the other end was the original owner’s brother, tied up on a chair, blindfolded, with his mouth covered. The kidnappers threatened her, saying if she didn’t hurry and pay the ransom, he would be killed.

Since coming here, she hadn’t seen the original owner’s family, but the relationship between the original owner and the family wasn’t bad. Previously, when the original owner was struggling to get by, the family had supported her.

Of all tis to kidnap soone, why choose this mont?

Chuzheng tried to negotiate with the other party: “Can you wait a bit? Let watch the concert first.”

The kidnapper was wearing a mask and shoved the mask right up to the cara after hearing this: “Your brother’s life is on the line, and you still feel like going to a concert?”

The voice was altered, making it impossible to discern gender.

Chuzheng was not the least bit worried, calmly saying: “Don’t you want money?”

“Bring the money quickly, and don’t call the police! Otherwise, I’ll kill him!”

Chuzheng earnestly replied: “Watching a concert won’t take long. I have plenty of money. If you take good care of him, giving you a few million more is no problem.” Why does this plot feel sowhat familiar?

Kidnapper: “…”

This horse freak is insane!!

“Stop playing tricks on !” The kidnapper’s voice rose significantly, the altered voice coming through quite grating: “Bring the money now!”

The kidnapper pressed the person tied to the chair, and from out of the video, brought a knife to slash at the person’s arm.

The tied-up person cried out in pain, struggling in terror.

The kidnapper sneered: “See that? I’m not joking with you!”

Chuzheng: “…”

Fine!

Just you wait!

I’m going to be a good person!

Chuzheng went to the bank to withdraw money and arrived at the site to hand over the ransom as instructed by the kidnappers.

Just as she arrived, the kidnapper called again, directing her to another location.

A poker-faced Chuzheng moved to the next location.

After changing places three tis, she ended up in a sparsely populated suburb and was directed to drive into an abandoned chemical plant.

Chuzheng got out of the car, scanned the surroundings, and saw no one in the deserted chemical plant.

He followed the instructions, walked to the middle of the chemical plant, and put the money down.

The other party seed to confirm that she was alone and erged from the shadows. There was more than one person, all wearing masks and carrying steel pipes.

The people here clearly weren’t the kidnappers who had called her.

That kidnapper was currently inside the chemical plant, watching the outside through surveillance. Seeing Chuzheng enter with his people, he closed the laptop.

The kidnapper raised a hand to pat the person next to him: “Kid, your sister’s here to save you.”

“Mm-mm-mm…”

“Don’t worry, your sister will be here soon.”

“Mm-mm-mm!!”

The kidnapper ignored the struggling person. He got up and walked a few steps outward.

However, five minutes passed, and no one ca in…

The kidnapper called his people, but no one answered.

The kidnapper frowned. Cautiously, he stayed put and reopened the laptop, only to see nobody in the surveillance range.

Sothing’s wrong.

Sothing’s definitely wrong.

Another five minutes passed, and still no one.

The kidnapper started feeling uneasy.

Bam—

The door crashed to the ground, kicking up clouds of dust.

A girl stood at the doorway, hands in her pockets, stepping over the lights, walking in slowly, as if a character from a TV cri lord show, exuding an aura of intimidation.

The kidnapper was stunned for two seconds, then grabbed the knife, moving behind the hostage, the blade to the hostage’s neck.

“Stop!”

The kidnapper, breathing slightly erratic, wondered where his brothers were.

What happened outside just now?

Chuzheng paused slightly, looking at the kidnapper expressionlessly.

The kidnapper shouted, “Where are my n? What did you do to them?”

Damn it!

Wasn’t it said that this woman was easy to deal with? Is this easy to deal with?

Chuzheng couldn’t be bothered with nonsense; she slightly raised her fingers, drawing a circle in the air. A silver line shot out, wrapping around the kidnapper’s ankle and the knife.

The kidnapper felt a chill around his ankle, then a force pulling the knife out of his hand.

The kidnapper’s eyes widened, cold sweat breaking out on his back.

Then he was thrown to the ground with a thud, making a huge noise.

Can’t move…

Couldn’t move at all, as if bound by sothing.

Yet the girl over there only lifted her hand; she hadn’t done anything else.

Is this a human?

This can’t be human; no human could wield such power.

When faced with unknown powers, humans tend to whimsically assign so na to them.

The kidnapper started trembling in fright.

The light in front of him darkened abruptly, and the girl squatted in front of him.

The kidnapper looked at Chuzheng in terror, muttering, “What are you… what exactly are you!!”

Chuzheng: “??”

Why are you cursing at now?

Why am I being treated like so thing?

Chuzheng decided to beat him up first, as he definitely chose the wrong ti today!

The kidnapper was beaten miserably, unable to move, only able to shout. Eventually, Chuzheng couldn’t even make out what goblins he was rambling about.

Chuzheng exhaled and tidied her clothes: “Who told you to kidnap him?”

Exhaling, his eyes are unfocused, perhaps numb from pain.

“Answer .”

Chuzheng kicked him again.

“Ah…”

The kidnapper cried out.

eting Chuzheng’s gaze, he shrank, goosebumps erupting along his arms, swallowing hard: “He… he owes money.”

ng Shaoyuan — that is, the original owner’s brother, had gotten into gambling a while back and lost everything within a month.

Then he borrowed high-interest loans from these people.

Kidnapping ng Shaoyuan was just a way to extort money, a thod they commonly used.

“Since it’s a debt, I promised to pay you. Why deceive into coming here? You think I’m easily fooled?”

“…”

“I’m giving you a chance to speak, or else it’ll be too late soon.”

The kidnapper watched as Chuzheng picked up that knife, his pupils slightly constricting, fear pouring in boundlessly.

Before him stood not a pretty little girl but the ruler of Hell, walking with Evil Ghosts.

The kidnapper was scared to death by what he imagined.

“I’ll tell you… I’ll tell you…”

Soone paid them to find a way to tie her up.

As for what happened next, the kidnapper didn’t know.

His job was to capture the person and hand them over.

“Who?”

“I don’t know…” The kidnapper shook his head, almost crying out: “I really don’t know, he was wearing a mask and sunglasses…”

Chuzheng thought about people she’d offended, showing the kidnapper a picture of Hua Huai.

“Yes, that’s him.”

Hua Huai was tall and an entertainer, with a distinct aura. Even with sunglasses and a mask, the kidnapper recognized him at a glance.

Chuzheng’s gaze turned dangerous: “Was he alone?”

The kidnapper nodded: “Alone, alone… I’ve told you everything, can you let go?”
