Chuzheng was wearing a very festive outfit and a veil on her face, ant as a ‘sacrificial offering’ attire prepared by the populace; she pulled off the outer garnt and threw it on the ground.
As she was about to tear off the veil, the person beside her suddenly collapsed onto the ground.
Startled, Chuzheng jumped aside.

Chuzheng pondered over the palace, not moving, just sitting by the river.
The golden sun sank to the west, the crescent moon hung at the edge of the sky, its cool light falling on the river surface, where a thin layer of mist gradually rose, hazy and dim.

The River God, infuriated, summoned dozens more water columns from the river, grandly smashing toward Chuzheng.
Chuzheng could avoid them, but the unconscious Lang Sha lying on the ground couldn’t.
After all, he had saved her from the river; quick as lightning, Chuzheng grabbed Lang Sha by the foot and yanked him over to her side.
Lang Sha collided with sothing, Chuzheng felt a slight obstruction, but she didn’t have ti to look, roughly pulling him over with force!

The River God’s voice ca through the water columns, tinged with murderous aura.
