Chuzheng stood in the corner, looking down at the text ssage from Jinn Xiu.
[Jinn Xiu: Rember to eat and don’t stay out too late.]
This was the text ssage Jinn Xiu sent every day, so much so that Chuzheng suspected he had set an alarm.
The timing rarely varied by more than five minutes.
Chuzheng generally didn’t reply to this kind of ‘junk’ ssage, so after reading it, she just put her phone back in her pocket.
“What are you doing!”
A girl scread, as if soone was trying to make her do sothing.
The girl struggled fiercely and suddenly bit the person pulling her on the hand. The person loosened their grip, causing the girl to stumble toward Chuzheng.
Chuzheng wanted to avoid her, but there was a flower pot behind her, leaving her no room to dodge, so she reached out to steady the girl.
“Damn it, you’re asking for it.”
The boy who had been bitten cursed angrily and tried to grab the girl again.
The girl shrunk back in terror.
As the boy’s hand was about to reach the girl’s arm, it was stopped by a wine glass.
The glass still had so wine in it, pressing against his wrist with a touch of coldness.
Though it didn’t seem to exert much force, the boy’s wrist was held firmly in place, unable to move.
“Who is it!”
The boy looked angrily down the length of the wine glass to find its owner.
Not everybody here knew each other, and the boy didn’t recognize Chuzheng.
But when he saw Chuzheng’s face, he froze for a mont. Her delicate and beautiful features exuded cuteness at every angle.
Only her expressionless face added a bit of sternness.
The boy stepped back slightly, sizing up Chuzheng’s attire, possibly assessing whether it was worth offending her.
Ultimately, he seed to decide that Chuzheng was not soone to ss with, so he threatened in a low voice, “Mind your own business!”
Chuzheng replied coldly, “Didn’t you understand she doesn’t want to?”
“She ca here willingly, and now she doesn’t want to?” The boy threatened as he looked at the girl, “Is that right?”
“I don’t know…” The girl whimpered, “I didn’t know it would be like this; they just said it would be fun to co.”
“Yeah, we were just having fun.”
The boy spoke as he attempted to grab the girl again.
People around glanced over but kept quiet, mostly adopting a spectator’s stance.
Chuzheng pulled the girl aside and splashed the wine on the boy.
The boy got hit square in the face, the wine dripping down from his brow bone and eyes.
The boy wiped the wine from his face with a sullen expression, “You bastard, are you looking for trouble!”
With indifferent eyes, Chuzheng moved as swiftly as lightning, twisting the boy’s arm and pinning him against the plant behind him.
The boy hadn’t even reacted before he found himself restrained, the branches of the plant pricking his cheek painfully.
“Who’s looking for trouble? ”
The girl’s clear, unwavering voice sounded in his ear like ice shards, piercing his heart and sending a wave of panic surging up from his stomach.
“I…I…” The boy, cowardly as he was, dared not utter another harsh word once he was subdued.
Chuzheng released the boy, who imdiately clutched his arm and retreated, making a quick exit.
The girl crossed her arms, still trembling, “Thank you…thank you.”

Chuzheng only then glanced sideways at the girl.
The girl with tear-filled eyes looked at her, “Sister…it’s…it’s you.”
The panic on the girl’s face turned into delight.
Chuzheng rembered her, the little girl at the subway station who didn’t have money for a ticket last ti.
Can a person use two Thank-You Cards?
The Bastard didn’t ntion that before.

Chuzheng asked her coldly, “Why are you here?”
The way this girl dressed, she didn’t seem like soone who could attend such a gathering.
“…A classmate brought ,” the girl bit her lip.
She’d been tricked by her classmates, who promised it would be fun. Only after arriving did she discover the true situation.
The classmate who brought her disappeared after handing her over to that boy just now.
At first, the boy didn’t do anything but ask her to have so drinks and such.
Then he started getting handsy, and she got scared and ran over here, hoping to leave.
Then the incident Chuzheng witnessed occurred…
“Classmate Wen.” Pei Zhimo returned from another direction, “You…”
He glanced at the girl standing next to Chuzheng and didn’t continue.
“What did she ask you to do?”
Chuzheng asked, and Pei Zhimo then replied, “She gave a bottle of wine and asked to find a way to get you to drink it.”
“Where’s the wine?”
Pei Zhimo took out the bottle from behind his back.
Chuzheng stared at the wine bottle. The packaging was the sa as in the original owner’s mory…
The original owner thought she was just drunk, but there must have been sothing in there.

“Give it to .” Chuzheng told Pei Zhimo to hand her the wine, then he could leave.
Chuzheng walked around with the bottle, and the little girl followed her step by step.
“Why are you following ?”
Chuzheng turned to look at her, Why stick to in such a big place!
“I’m scared…” the girl said, “You’re the only one I know.”
“We don’t really know each other.” Chuzheng retorted coolly, “At most, we’ve just t once.”
“…” The girl sniffled, still with a trace of tears in her eyes, “I don’t know anyone else; can I stay with you?”
“No, you can’t.” I’m afraid you’ll call the police on !!
“…”
Though Chuzheng said she couldn’t, the girl kept following her closely.
In the end, Chuzheng could only let her be.
Chuzheng found An Sui and the others at the back.
She waited until everyone around An Sui had left, then grabbed a waiter and, in front of him, opened the wine bottle and poured it into a glass.
Waiter: “???”
Chuzheng took out an envelope and placed it on the tray, “Take it to her, and you didn’t see anything.”
Having probably seen things like this before, the waiter took the envelope with a smile, nodded, and delivered the wine to An Sui.
An Sui, lost in thoughts about Chuzheng, imagining her downfall and indulging in self-pleasure, didn’t even notice the waiter brought wine and just drank it up.
“Sister, what are you doing…” The girl looked at Chuzheng bewilderedly.
“Do kids need to know much?” Chuzheng handed the girl the wine bottle, “Wait for here, don’t go out, if you get dragged away I won’t save you.”
“…”
The girl nodded fearfully, finding a place to hide herself.

The girl’s feet had gone numb from squatting, and Chuzheng still hadn’t returned. She’s a bit scared; maybe sister left?
Just when the girl hesitated about whether to go out, Chuzheng appeared from behind, “Let’s go.”
“Oh.” The girl quickly clutched the wine bottle, got up, and left with Chuzheng, getting in the car to leave.
The car descended the mountain, the girl sat properly without daring to make a sound.
“Where do you live?”
“I…” The girl hesitated, “I live at the school, but it’s past the curfew.”
