Capítulo 1581: Chapter 1581: Wu Di of the Anti-Fans (12)

An Ji was feeling a bit of a headache from all the noise, and was even more annoyed by people trying to cozy up to him.

“Sorry, I don’t use WeChat.” An Ji politely rejected them.

“Ah…”

In this day and age, who doesn’t use WeChat? Such an obvious refusal could be heard by anyone.

Everyone exchanged glances for a mont, then returned to their seats without bothering An Ji further.

An Ji raised a hand to rub his forehead, thinking of telling the bar owner he was leaving, when suddenly soone approached and placed sothing in front of him.

Most people at the table were already drunk, talking nonsense and paying no attention to this side.

An Ji turned to look, and found Chuzheng had already returned to her seat, handing another portion to Yu Han.

“Thanks, you’re so nice!”

[Congratulations, miss, you received a Thank-You Card x1]

Chuzheng sat down with an expressionless face, thinking if it weren’t for earning cards, would I even be nice to you?!

Ha!

A boss is cold and emotionless!

An Ji glanced at the item in front of him; it was a bowl of hot porridge, with corn and sweet potato pieces, giving off a sweet fragrance.

An Ji couldn’t figure out why Chuzheng would give him one.

Separated by two people, An Ji found it hard to speak, so he could only pick up a spoon and take a few bites.

Once the hot porridge settled, his slightly uncomfortable stomach felt much better.

After finishing the al, the bar owner was already asleep at the table, and everyone was busy leaving, not noticing who had paid the bill.

Everyone helped each other out.

The bar owner was probably woken up, pointing at soone: “That, An Ji, can you… can you go back?”

An Ji, standing on the other side: “…”

“Why don’t you go back with ?”

“No need, I can go back on my own.”

“Hmm?? Why are you speaking from my side?” The bar owner asked curiously.

An Ji: “…”

Handling a drunk old man was tough, so several people gathered to shove the bar owner into the car, while others dispersed.

“Chuzheng, I’m heading back,” Yu Han waved to Chuzheng as they weren’t going the sa way, leaving with another employee.

At the entrance, it soon beca just Chuzheng and An Ji.

An Ji didn’t notice Chuzheng standing behind him; he pulled his mask up a bit, preparing to leave.

“Together?”

An Ji was startled by the sudden voice, turning around, his amber eyes showing a touch of surprise.

“Hmm?”

“I live in the apartnt next to yours,” Chuzheng said. “Shall we go back together?”

“Hmm… okay,” An Ji replied.

No wonder she ca to give him sothing; he had previously t her outside the neighborhood.

At this hour, there was no subway, and there were few cars on the road. The two stood at the roadside for more than ten minutes before a car ca.

Outside it was spacious without much awkwardness, but now the space felt confined, making An Ji feel the atmosphere was oppressive.

“Earlier… why did you buy porridge for ?”

Chuzheng looked down at her phone and casually said, “Noticed you didn’t eat anything. You didn’t like it?”

“No… it was very tasty.” The boy shook his head. “Thank you.”

Your thank you wasn’t as sincere as Yu Han’s!

Chuzheng didn’t respond, focusing on her phone.

An Ji, who often remained indoors writing, didn’t have trouble with communication but was generally not talkative.

Without traffic at night, a journey that would take over an hour during the day took just half an hour.

After getting off, An Ji hesitated but took out his phone: “Can we exchange contact information?”

“I thought you didn’t use WeChat?”

“…” An Ji felt awkward and explained, “I… don’t really like adding strangers.”

Chuzheng looked at him several tis and exchanged contact details with him.

“Then… goodnight.” An Ji pulled down his mask and smiled at Chuzheng.

Already good-looking, and now he’s smiling at her – it’s irresistible!

Chuzheng hurried off.

Otherwise, soon the socialist successors would kick her out of the group chat.

Returning to the apartnt, Chuzheng opened An Ji’s Monts to take a look.

An Ji’s na was simply a ‘Ji’ character; most of the Monts were reposted shares, but Chuzheng didn’t see any content related to his books.

Most were songs, so prose poems, and well-written short texts.

There was also so content An Ji wrote himself, though all were quite brief.

The Monts clearly exuded a cultured aura.

Chuzheng then opened the original owner’s Monts…

Thirty seconds later, she decisively set Monts to ‘visible for three days only’.

What nonsense was the original owner posting all day… so damn juvenile!! This seriously tarnishes my elegant and aloof boss image.

An Ji lay on the sofa, accidentally hitting refresh, and the earlier content vanished instantly.

Hmm?

An Ji exited, clicked back, and it still showed the sa.

An Ji stared at his phone screen silently for a while, then placed it down, lying on the sofa and staring at the ceiling light in a daze.

The bar owner woke up the next day and asked who paid the bill.

But no one stepped forward.

The bar owner was baffled and ssaged An Ji.

[Jiu Jiu Ling: Did you settle the bill last night?]

[Ji: No.]

[Jiu Jiu Ling: …]

Well, that’s odd; why isn’t anyone claiming it?

Yesterday, there were so many of them, that al wasn’t cheap…

Chuzheng quietly floated past the bar owner, hiding her achievents and fa.

Ultimately, who paid that bill remained a mystery.

So café.

Wan Ying sneaked in, looking around nervously, and finally went upstairs.

Chuzheng donned a hat, following Wan Ying inside.

In an upstairs private room, Wan Ying hovered at the door before pulling a server that was coming up.

“Could you do a favor?”

Server: “??”

Inside the private room.

Opposite Wan Ying sat a man, who looked about Wan Ying’s age, with decent looks, slightly handso.

“Are you sure she didn’t see?” The man didn’t look happy.

“I tried probing; she probably didn’t see,” Wan Ying said. “If she’d seen, with her temperant, she’d have caused a ruckus at Old Chi’s by now. There’s been no noise, so she definitely didn’t see.”

Knock knock…

Wan Ying went silent, and the man said, “Co in.”

The waiter brought in the items, and the two picked a random topic to chat about as the waiter arranged things before grabbing sothing else.

When the waiter left, Wan Ying promptly said, “Brother Xing, let’s be more careful when eting next ti; don’t choose places like this.”

Luo Xing seed to agree: “I understand. Has Chi suspected you?”

“What can he suspect? Rest assured, Brother Xing,” Wan Ying chuckled. “By the way, Brother Xing, don’t you think I should have a child?”

Luo Xing’s expression turned a bit gloomy: “You want to have his child?”

“Of course not.” Wan Ying stood up, sat on Luo Xing’s lap, and cooed, “I should have yours if I’m having one, right?”

“If I have a child, wouldn’t he trust more? Plus, if it’s a boy, then in the future…”
