The girls in their school uniforms were waving from afar. Chi Chuzheng glanced in the other direction, where a group of boys stood together, catching the eye with their sunny, handso deanor.

"Hey Zhengzheng, who are you looking at?" The girl in the pink jacket hooked Chi Chuzheng’s arm and curiously looked towards those boys.

"It’s Xie Nan, isn’t it? He’s a campus heartthrob. Although I heard he seems to have soone he likes. Zhengzheng, if you want to pursue him, it’s going to be tough."
The group of girls cheered simultaneously.
Chi Chuzheng laughed and scolded, "Who likes him? Don’t talk nonsense."
"Hahaha, the way you react sure suggests you like him!"
"No worries, a lot of people like him, what’s there to be afraid of."
"Yeah, didn’t the school belle confess to Xie Nan earlier?"
Chi Chuzheng glanced over again, but she wasn’t looking at the sunlit and handso boy surrounded by people.
It was the solitary boy sitting on the steps behind that group.

Only after the boy went back inside did Chi Chuzheng swiftly run away.
But she soon returned, placing the bought items at the boy’s doorstep, without knocking, standing for a bit before leaving.

Xie Nan blocked Chi Chuzheng on her way to the cafeteria.
The sunny and handso school heartthrob and the beautiful rich kid standing together indeed made a striking scene.
"Is there sothing you need?"
Xie Nan smiled slightly, "You left early last ti, was there sothing up?"
"Yeah." Chi Chuzheng went along, "I had so matters to attend."

He sat alone at his desk, staring out at the heavy rain.
Chi Chuzheng knocked on the door and threw the umbrella inside, turning around before the boy could look back, and sprinting away.

"Hey, Zhengzheng, did you hear about it?"
"Hear about what?" She had just arrived, hear about what?
"There’s a student in the third year, heard he’s an illegitimate child." Her friend spoke excitedly, "Just now soone ca to make a scene, pointing at that person cursing, it was intense."
Chi Chuzheng wasn’t interested in these gossip, listened half-heartedly to her friend’s tale, without giving it another thought.
