The door was violently kicked open, and beams of light swept in, illuminating the dark room in an instant.
Shadows flickered and intertwined on the ground.
At that mont, a loud noise suddenly echoed in the corridor, followed by screams.
The people who had planned to enter were startled by the noise and imdiately turned around to leave.
The rest quickly retreated as well, and the beams of light disappeared, plunging the room back into darkness.

Brother Hui was still in shock. The others had left through the window, and he hurried to catch up.
The window led to an overhead corridor, easy enough for them to jump onto.
Crossing the corridor, the woman wanted to head in one direction, but Chuzheng pulled Lou Xing in another.

"Shut up." Chuzheng hushed.
"Your Highness!" The woman noticed Chuzheng wasn’t following and quickly turned to catch up.
Chuzheng led them to the parking lot.
Lou Xing frowned. "Cars are too conspicuous."
"What are you afraid of?" Chuzheng opened the car door. "I’ll cover for you. Get in the car."
Lou Xing: "..."
Brother Hui jumped into the car first, followed closely by the woman. Lou Xing had no choice but to get in.

The car sped through, weaving between buildings shrouded in darkness, destination unknown.
Chuzheng glanced at the woman in the rearview mirror... alright, she couldn’t see anything clearly.
Silence reigned in the car as Chuzheng drove silently.
The congested, narrow buildings gradually gave way, and the surroundings beca spacious.
Chuzheng finally brought the car to a stop.
Outside lay a field of rocks, with no buildings nearby. The car was parked behind the rocks, conveniently hiding it.
The engine turned off, Chuzheng released the steering wheel, glancing sideways at the occupants in the backseat.

The woman sat with Brother Hui, both wary of each other.
The woman imdiately sat up straight. "I am Your Highness’s guard, Na Xia."
Chuzheng’s voice was icy, "I’m your Highness?"
Na Xia’s expression changed, "Your Highness doesn’t rember? Do you still recall..."
Na Xia’s gaze swept over Lou Xing and Brother Hui and didn’t continue.
Chuzheng roughly guessed she was considering their alien identities, fearing those two might find out.
"I don’t rember." The original owner’s mory wasn’t fully restored, so neither did she know. "How can I be sure you’re not from Qing Dai?"

Chuzheng glanced at Lou Xing, signaling her to get out of the car.
