Chuzheng also warily surveyed the lamb.

Seeing Chuzheng leave, the lamb crawled out of the bushes, looked at the lake, then at the direction Chuzheng had gone, and suddenly started bounding after her.

His clothes were caught on a tree branch, and the youth shouted without even looking back.

Chuzheng turned to leave.
The youth shouted for a long ti and heard no movent behind him. Turning back, he found that it was a tree branch that had caught him; there was no one else around.
The youth’s face alternated between red and white.
He knocked off the branch catching his clothes and let go of the little lamb.

“Baa…”
The little lamb bleated plaintively.
