Chapter 481: Chapter 481 Blood Clan Queen (10)

“Eight more days, if you don’t eat, you can only starve to death,” Chuzheng reminded her coolly.

“There must be sothing else to eat on the island,” Su Li said, wrapping her arms around her stomach, filled with hope.

“There isn’t,” Chuzheng shattered her fantasy, “and there’s the Blood Clan, will you eat them?”

Su Li was speechless. As a mber of the Blood Clan, how appropriate is it for you to say that?

The Blood Clan mber shivered.

Chuzheng’s eyes coldly swept over the canopy, “The Blood Clan eats humans, why can’t humans eat the Blood Clan? It is only right to return the favor, isn’t it?”

Is that how the idiom ‘return the favor’ is supposed to be used?

“My lord, we of the Blood Clan do not eat people,” the Blood Clan mber poked his head out from the tree, feeling it necessary to clear his na, “We only drink blood.”

“Oh, sa thing,” Chuzheng dismissed.

“…My lord, how is it the sa?”

Chuzheng argued with conviction, “Either way, you’ll die.”

“…” The Blood Clan mber was at a loss for words. Although he felt the lord’s argunt was completely unreasonable, he had no rebuttal.

Su Li glanced at the Blood Clan mber, “How could the Blood Clan eat…”

“How do you know you can’t eat it if you’ve never tried? Humans can be eaten, so why not the Blood Clan? No racial discrimination allowed, all creatures are equal.”

Su Li’s voice was feeble, “Really… Can we?”

The Blood Clan mber was silent.

Can you not consider how I feel?!

Fearing that Chuzheng and Su Li might seriously consider cooking him, the Blood Clan mber quickly retreated into the canopy, not daring to make another sound.

Su Li glanced over and let out a small snort of contempt.

After releasing her contempt… oh how hungry she was!

Chuzheng propped her head up, bored as she watched the distance.

The pitch-black night kept her alert, without a hint of sleepiness.

She changed positions to make herself more comfortable.

Out of the corner of her eye, she caught a glimpse of a white figure standing in the nearby jungle.

“…”

Wow! What was that!

Chuzheng turned her head to look.

The jungle was pitch dark; there was no white figure anywhere.

A ghost, could it be?

Chuzheng, hugging her arms, called the Blood Clan mber down from the tree, “Go take a look around.”

“What is my lord looking at?” The Blood Clan mber was all ears.

How would I know what to look for, if I did, would I need you? It could be a ghost!! Scaring to death!

Chuzheng calmly ordered, “Just have a look around.”

The Blood Clan mber was silent.

Not even a few minutes had passed after the Blood Clan mber left when Chuzheng saw a fleeting white figure again.

Chuzheng sat impassively, not moving an inch.

Don’t think for a mont you can lure away!

If I say I won’t move, I won’t move!

A few monts later, the Blood Clan mber returned, “My lord, there’s nothing unusual nearby.”

Chuzheng casually scanned the surroundings without showing any signs of concern and ‘hmm’ed reassuringly.

The white figure didn’t appear again.

The next day at dawn, Su Li was unbearably hungry and, gritting her teeth, ate those few fruits.

Ten days’ ti; today was only the third day, and she didn’t want to starve to death here.

The Bastard hadn’t issued a task, so Chuzheng could only wander around the island aimlessly.

Occasionally, she would hear a horrible scream.

According to the Blood Clan, there are quite a few of them on the island, all low-level Blood Clan mbers.

If Avigust is a place for keeping humans.

Then Death Island is where low-level Blood Clan mbers are kept.

So finding bones here and there— that’s all too normal.

“Why are you here?”

“?” The Blood Clan mber pointed at himself, “Shouldn’t I be here?”

“Most low-level Blood Clan mbers are ugly, you don’t fit in here.” This Blood Clan mber had an air of elegance about him, more like soone raised in the Blood Clan with good manners.

“Even if I don’t fit in, I prefer it here,” the Blood Clan mber scratched his red hair and smiled, “My lord, the struggles within the Blood Clan are also very brutal.”

Thinking of the original host’s experiences, Chuzheng fell silent for a mont before changing the subject, “What else is on Death Island?”

“Nothing much,” the Blood Clan mber shook his head, “Blood Clan mbers, discarded food.”

Those who pride themselves on their noble bloodlines wouldn’t co here.

Most of the Blood Clan on Death Island were slumbering; as long as no major disturbance was made to awaken the sleeping Blood Clan, the chance of surviving on the island was quite high… the precondition being that there was food.

Of course, so Blood Clan mbers did not like to sleep, such as him…

“Skeletons.” Su Li added from the side.

These past few days, she had almost had her fill of skeletons for a lifeti.

After throwing up and throwing up… she probably didn’t want to vomit anymore.

All she wanted now was sothing to eat; she was terribly hungry.

Chuzheng looked towards the depths of the jungle, “There might even be ghosts.”

Su Li: “…”

Blood Clan: “…”

The other side of Death Island.

The boy in white walked barefoot through the jungle, his sleeves soaked with blood, which ran down his wrist, sliding over the back of his hand to his fingertips.

Following him was a Blood Clan mber.

This Blood Clan mber had only a human shape, with a pair of wings on its back, and an ugly face. At the mont, it was greedily eyeing the boy ahead.

Food…

So fragrant…

Eat it, eat it!!

Blood dripped from the boy’s fingertips, landing on the grass on either side.

The Blood Clan mber behind lapped up every drop, ever more greed in its eyes.

The boy climbed a steep slope and then slid down.

Below was a chilling sight of bones and skulls scattered everywhere; countless people must have died here.

The Blood Clan mber stood above, watching the boy stepping on the bones, its expression strangely fixed on a tree growing amongst the bones.

The tree was bare, with only a few leaves remaining.

The boy frowned slightly, turned to lean against the tree, and looked up at the Blood Clan mber.

A cruel smile appeared on the ugly face of the Blood Clan mber, and filthy liquid flowed from its mouth, utterly nauseating.

“Ah…”

A scream rang out not far away.

The Blood Clan mber turned its head to look in that direction, its sharp claws scoring a mark in the ground.

Lately, there had been quite a few fresh als on the island… but they were instructed not to touch them haphazardly.

Of course, so of the slumbering Blood Clan mbers had not received this command, and upon awakening and seeing food delivered to their mouths, how could they resist eating.

The Blood Clan mber did not pay attention to the scream; all its focus was on the boy below.

After waiting for a while, the Blood Clan mber eventually grew impatient and leapt down.

A knife fell from the boy’s sleeve, which he tightly clutched in his hand.

The Blood Clan mber imdiately took a few steps back.

That knife was strange; the Blood Clan mber had suffered from it before.

As the standoff continued, a voice ca from above.

A tuft of red hair appeared first, followed by a doll-like face.

The Blood Clan mber tensed up at the sight, clear wariness in its eyes.

“This isn’t your territory, what are you doing here?!”

The Blood Clan mber’s voice was rough and hoarse, grating to the ear. Despite its wariness, it didn’t back away.

“What are you doing?” the Red-haired Blood Clan mber asked, raising an eyebrow.

“…” The Blood Clan mber stayed silent.

The dimples on the Red-haired Blood Clan mber’s doll-like face beca pronounced: “I rember the order from above, we’re not allowed to touch these people on our own, you’re breaking the rules.”

The Blood Clan mber suddenly panicked: “It wasn’t just …”

The Red-haired Blood Clan mber blinked, “But you were seen by , what should we do now?”

“…” The Blood Clan mber suddenly thought of sothing and said, “He is not one of those people!”

So he was fair ga!

“Oh?” The dimples on the Red-haired Blood Clan mber’s face deepened.

“Mind your own business and roll back to your territory!” the Blood Clan mber growled.

“Found them?”

The expression on the Red-haired Blood Clan mber’s face beca serious, and he pushed aside the underbrush: “My lord, there is soone here.”

From the underbrush, a girl walked out leisurely.

Dressed in a simple black casual outfit, without any superfluous adornnts, her features were delicate, yet her face was devoid of any expression, making her seem sowhat cold and unapproachable.

The respectful attitude of the Red-haired Blood Clan mber made the Blood Clan mber below feel oddly alert and wary.

There were territorial divisions even on Death Island.

This Red-haired Blood Clan mber could be considered a notable figure on Death Island.

Owning a territory of his own, and now showing such respect to a girl… could it be that she was from the Blood Clan on the other side?
