Chapter 619: Chapter 619: Asking the Immortal in the Netherworld (1) Chapter 619: Chapter 619: Asking the Immortal in the Netherworld (1) Chuzheng found that this ti, she had not been imdiately sent to a new plane of existence.

Instead, she found herself in a pitch-dark space.

Or maybe… she had gone blind.

Of course, that was impossible, Chuzheng determined that she indeed was in a dark space.

There was no sound around her whatsoever.

[Miss.]

The voice of King’s Account resonated.

A light shone in front of her.

A one ter radius was illuminated, and the ground was odd, as if stepping into a void…

What kind of ghostly place is this?

[Miss, due to so unexpected circumstances, we need you to go back now.]

Chuzheng observed her surroundings without showing any emotion.

“What do you an? You’re letting go back?” Would Bastard be so kind?

[Yes.]

“Are you sure?”

[Miss, please don’t doubt .] The voice of the King’s Account remained unchanged, still that cheerful child’s voice.

“You let go, what makes you think I will still follow your orders?”

[Miss, you have to believe in , I can’t be shaken off.] King’s Account was very confident: [Miss, I won’t abandon you lightly, rest assured!]

Chuzheng: “…”

I don’t give a damn about that.

[Okay, please close your eyes, Miss. I am going to send you back now.]

King’s Account reminded Chuzheng to close her eyes.

In fact, as soon as its voice fell, Chuzheng felt a bout of dizziness.

As if falling from a great height.

Then hitting solid ground.

Thud—

Chuzheng stood up, the glass sphere by her side fell to the ground, rolling noisily across the wooden floor.

Chuzheng felt a bit dizzy and nauseous.

Her entire being felt shaky and spinning…

After a while, the blurry vision in front of Chuzheng’s eyes gradually beca clear.

The wooden rustic room, a bed placed against the wall.

On the innermost wall hung several paintings that seed to be quite old.

There was a wooden table facing the bed, scattered with nurous transparent porcelain vials about an inch tall, so empty, others dimly lit with what looked like colorful fireflies inside.

Next to the table was a Duobao Pavilion shelf, filled with all sorts of random objects.

Large items like vases, small ones like a single button.

There was also a closet on the other side, half-open, stuffed with clothes.

A familiar environnt.

Familiar furnishings.

Had she really co back?

The glass sphere that had rolled onto the floor slowly rolled back.

The glass sphere unfolded, clicking and clacking as it transford into a miniature robot.

It was made entirely of what seed to be glass-like material, but it was clearly not glass since real glass could not morph from a sphere into a robot.

The robot was quite petite, only about the height of a mobile phone.

If it had human skin, it would resemble a miniaturized version of a human.

Most of the items in the room had an old and rustic air, except for this robot, which exuded a sense of science fiction.

The robot, with its glass-like eyes, was staring incessantly at Chuzheng.

“Master, you’ve slept for nine days and eight hours, a severe excess of the standard, and orders are piling up… um, one, two, three…”

The robot started to count slowly.

Its voice too was that of a child, a milky voice typical of a two- or three-year-old.

Chuzheng kicked it over: “How many?”

The robot complained grievously, “But I haven’t finished counting.”

Chuzheng: “You haven’t finished counting in nine days and eight hours, what’s the use of keeping you?”

The robot, with its arms hugging its head, replied: “Twelve orders.”

Because of its short arms, the robot’s posture looked especially comical.

She slept for nine days…

And in those worlds, there should be seventeen worlds, equivalent to half a day per world.

“Bastard?”

The robot innocently said, “Master, how can you curse at people? No… cursing at a robot is also not right, I am protected by the law!”

“You are an illegal product, what law protects you?” Chuzheng coldly retorted.

“…”

[Miss,] King’s Account’s voice rang out: [You need to resolve your troubles quickly, oh. When the ti cos, I will send you over again.]

This ti, King’s Account seed to be using a speaker.

The voice wasn’t coming from inside her head.

“Who is talking? Who is talking?” The robot spun in circles on the spot: “Who is it! Co out!!”

That whiny voice had no montum to it.

[Eh…] King’s Account seed a bit curious: [How co this robot seems… not quite right?]

Chuzheng kicked the robot under the bed.

The robot seed to be stuck, humming in a strained voice from under the bed.

Chuzheng withdrew her foot as if nothing had happened: “What makes you think I would follow you to those inexplicable worlds again?”

This is now her territory, her ho ground.

[You can do it, Miss!] King’s Account dropped these words and went silent.

Chuzheng: “…”

This posture ant that Bastard had a way to send her again to those worlds.

Damned thing!

Wasn’t I said to be dead?

I knew this damned thing was lying to !

How could I just inexplicably drop dead!

The robot crawled out from under the bed: “Ptooey, ptooey, ptooey, master, when was the last ti you cleaned under your bed, it nearly choked .”

Chuzheng sat down in a chair, her expression unreadable as she fell into deep thought.

What exactly does Bastard want to do?

And what the hell is it…

After a while, Chuzheng asked, “Has anyone been here?”

“Yes, ah. These past few days, there’s been soone knocking on the door every day, I was so scared I didn’t dare to open it,” the robot complained in a whiny voice.

“Who was knocking?”

The robot ‘dah’ made a sound, and a holographic projection appeared in the air.

A man in a suit, standing at the door, knocking nervously.

“It’s this man, coming every day.”

Chuzheng tapped on the holograph, and the page quickly shifted to another, scrolling through various images, resembling sothing like Taobao.

[12 Unprocessed Orders]

A chanical voice announced.

Chuzheng opened the orders, looked them over, and then went out with the robot.

Just outside was the staircase.

Below the stairs was a small shop, stocked with all sorts of Incense, Wax, and Paper Candles.

Yes.

Those Incense, Wax, and Paper Candles.

What’s ant to be burned for the dead.

And what Chuzheng now had to do was—send deliveries.

Even the boss has to hustle for a living.

Chuzheng packaged the items and was just about to call soone to collect them when there was suddenly a knock on the door upstairs.

“Here it cos again. It’s him, it’s him, definitely him,” the robot said, spinning in circles on the spot.

Chuzheng: “…”

This house has a store downstairs that can be opened to the main street, just like any other ordinary shop.

The second floor is the living area, which can be accessed from the other side, like a regular residential community, with a door.

Chuzheng went upstairs, passed the room from before, and went through another door to the living area, which included the living room and bathroom.

The style of the living room was no different from the bedroom.

The furniture was antique, and paintings hung on the walls, all bearing a sense of age. In the entire space, there was barely anything that looked distinctly modern.

The floor was made of wood, creaking underfoot, enveloping one in the quaint charm of bygone years.
