Chapter 732: Chapter 732: National Demon Sprite (23)

Chuzheng turned to look at Xun Yin, “What did you say?”

Xun Yin: “…”

Xiao Yao was a bit violent.

There was a stone pillar in the wall, and the chain was ultimately connected to it.

The wall had collapsed, but the chain was still not broken.

Chuzheng’s hand flashed with silver light as a silver sword appeared in her hand, and she brought it down directly onto the chain.

Xun Yin shook his head, thinking it wouldn’t be that easy, but the next second his gaze froze, showing a look of astonishnt.

The chain on that side had been cut by the sword.

Chuzheng turned back to Xun Yin and saw that other than shock, he had no other reaction; she was certain that cutting it directly would not cause him too much harm, so she carried the sword over.

Chuzheng’s face was taut as she seriously said, “I can cut it.”

She gestured for him to show the chain on his wrist.

“Xiao Yao, your sword…” Xun Yin tucked his hands into his sleeves, not willing to take them out.

Was he sure she wouldn’t chop off his whole hand along with the chain?

Chuzheng puzzled: “What’s wrong?”

Hadn’t he just seen the effect, why was he dawdling?

Xun Yin wanted to say sothing, but Chuzheng had already grabbed his hand and placed it on the table beside her.

Chuzheng raised her sword to chop.

The speed was as quick as lightning, and Xun Yin couldn’t stop her at all.

Crack—

The chain on his wrist broke with the sound, and Chuzheng pulled his other hand over, chopping the chain quickly, then the ones at his feet.

In less than a minute, Xun Yin had his freedom restored.

“All done.”

Without the chains, Xun Yin’s limbs felt light, and he looked at the sword in Chuzheng’s hand sowhat strangely.

Just now, she had cut through it as if it were tofu…

Xun Yin quickly put that thought out of his mind.

He was free…

He rotated his wrist, and the smile on his face grew wider, a red light swirling in his dark pupils.

An evil aura slowly enveloped his body.

As if the gates of Hell had opened, and the devil was about to descend upon the human world.

Just as Xun Yin was excited and thrilled, a face suddenly lood large before him, and Chuzheng planted a kiss on his face.

The Great Demon froze there.

Like an angry dog cald by its master’s soothing.

“We need to get out of here.”

Xun Yin asked subconsciously, “Where to?”

“This place isn’t safe. We need to find sowhere else,” Chuzheng began packing, “Do you have anything you want to take?”

The Great Demon was still a bit dazed and shook his head.

“Hmm, then let’s go.” Chuzheng pulled his hand and walked towards the door.

No sooner had Chuzheng and Xun Yin left than the Alliance mbers found the place.

They had struggled to figure out a way into the shrine, but besides the lingering Monster Qi, there wasn’t a person in sight.

The mbers of the Alliance were jumping with fury.

How had they not discovered this place before?

The Alliance issued an urgent notice, with the primary task being to find that mysterious Great Demon.

While those people were searching the streets, Chuzheng settled Xun Yin in safely.

Xun Yin had learned about the outside world from the internet and TV, but seeing it with his own eyes felt different.

Through the clear glass, skyscrapers towered, neon lights sparkled brilliantly, as if they were the myriad stars in the night sky.

Xun Yin watched sowhat entranced.

“Xun Yin, you can’t leave that door, understand?” Chuzheng appeared beside him at so point, pointing at the entrance.

“Xiao Yao, you can’t keep locked up,” Xun Yin’s eyes reflected the glittering light, and his smile was like thousands of fireworks exploding, making people want to lay everything before him.

“Try going out now,” Chuzheng said with her arms crossed and her gaze calmly on him.

Xun Yin looked at her silently.

After a mont, he opened the window, climbed up, and leapt down.

But before he could, he hit sothing with his forehead and tumbled down from the windowsill.

Chuzheng caught him.

Xun Yin pushed her away, glared at her, and jumped back onto the windowsill.

He stood on the windowsill for a mont, then suddenly jumped down.

“Not jumping anymore?”

“I need to recover now, there’s no need to go out,” Xun Yin said, with a malicious smile.

Why did he want to leave?

He knew nothing about the outside world.

It was safer to stay here, wasn’t it?

Xun Yin stretched out his hand: “Xiao Yao, do you have an inner core?”

He took it for granted.

Chuzheng gave it just as naturally.

Xun Yin took the inner core back to the room Chuzheng had prepared for him. When he closed the door, he gave Chuzheng a smile.

The next day, Xun Yin ca out of the room and found that Chuzheng had left so clothes at the door for him.

In the current world, everyone dressed like this, unless it was in a TV drama; no one would dress like him anymore.

But the Great Demon had no desire to change.

He liked dressing this way.

Xun Yin walked to the living room where there were so snacks on the table; he casually picked one up and popped it into his mouth.

Apart from snacks, there were also a few docunts on the table. Not seeing Chuzheng, Xun Yin picked them up and flipped through.

“Zhongli Luo…”

Xun Yin’s eyes darkened.

When Chuzheng returned, Xun Yin was lying on the couch, playing a ga. Even with the Western-style décor, his attire made him look like an aristocrat from the court.

“Xiao Yao.”

Xun Yin called her proactively.

“My na is Chuzheng.”

Xun Yin looked up: “Xiao Yao, what are you looking at the Monster Tower for?”

Chuzheng: “…”

Good Person Card.

Seeking pampering.

What she was called didn’t matter.

Chuzheng silently exhaled: “Got it.”

Xun Yin’s eyebrows lifted slightly: “Xiao Yao has admirable aspirations.”

Xun Yin’s gaze returned to his phone: “Did you know that the Monster Tower is cursed?”

“…” Bastard didn’t tell , of course, I wouldn’t know.

“You didn’t know?” Xun Yin said admiringly. After killing an opponent in the ga, he slowly said, “Xiao Yao, your courage is comndable.”

“Thank you.”

Xun Yin’s fingers paused.

This little one was quite interesting.

Couldn’t she hear that he was mocking her?

“Are you very familiar with the Monster Tower?”

“Fairly,” Xun Yin said with obvious confidence: “Do you want to know?”

“Let’s hear it.” There’s too little information about the Monster Tower.

He ended a ga, sat up, and carelessly brushed his hair aside: “What’s in it for ?”

Chuzheng pulled out a few inner cores for him.

Just obtained at a high price from the black market, they weren’t even warm yet.

“Xiao Yao, the quality of these inner cores…”

“Don’t give them back to .”

Xun Yin imdiately put away the inner cores: “In that era when demons were rampant, humans were insignificant yet not to be underestimated. The Monster Tower was established during that ti.

The Monster Tower had passed among several major families, ultimately falling into the hands of the Zhongli Family.

Since then, the Monster Tower was managed by the Zhongli family, and it housed ancient Great Demons…”

As Xun Yin reached this point, a red gleam clearly flickered in the depths of his eyes.

“Naturally, these Great Demons were unwilling to be confined there, so they launched a revolt. That uprising led to heavy losses for the Zhongli family and since then, the Zhongli family has been in decline, with almost no child living past the age of twenty.

Even those who survived would suffer trendously while managing the Monster Tower, living a life worse than death. The curse of the Monster Tower was thus passed down, and unexpectedly, it still hasn’t died out to this day.”

“Sotis the vitality of humans is indeed tenacious. Xiao Yao, would you agree?”
