Chapter 761: Chapter 761: The Wicked Woman Farms (17)

Third Master was so angry he almost couldn’t catch his breath.

The villagers’ accusations grew louder.

“Have you finished your discussion, are you going to repay the debt or not?”

Zhang Yuanwai’s n were getting impatient.

“If you don’t return the money, we’ll just have to take a leg.”

“No, no, no!!” Yang Cuicui scread, “Jiang Chuzheng, hurry up and pay the money, he is your uncle!!”

“He’s not my dad.”

Chuzheng dropped this remark and, with Qiu Ya in tow, walked toward her courtyard.

With bandits following Chuzheng, no one dared to stop her. They all made way, looking at her and Qiu Ya with strange glances.

“Third Master, look at this girl, she has no respect for her elders!”

The mont she entered, the villagers began to scold angrily.

“Third Master, please save Dasheng.” Yang Cuicui was now panicked and at her wits’ end.

Jiang Dasheng was the man of the family; if his leg was broken, how would the family live from now on.

What could Third Master do?

Yang Cuicui took quite a substantial amount of money.

Third Master did want the villagers to co up with money, but those who had just accused Chuzheng started making excuses.

Most people are like that.

When it doesn’t involve their own interests, they recklessly stand on a moral high ground and manipulate.

Once it involves their own interests, they forget what they have previously said.

In the end, Jiang Dasheng’s leg was broken. As Zhang Yuanwai’s n were leaving, they cast a dreary and unsettled look at Chuzheng’s courtyard.

“Miss Chuzheng, I think Zhang Yuanwai won’t let this go,” Liang Han said worriedly.

“Hmm.” That old bastard is just bad.

“This Zhang Yuanwai, I heard he’s sowhat related to the County Magistrate…” Liang Han relayed everything he knew to Chuzheng.

Although the familial relation is a bit distant.

But Zhang Yuanwai is rich, he has the family connections, and money to maintain those ties, the County Magistrate will definitely side with Zhang Yuanwai in the end.

Key word —— wealth.

[Miss, now you understand the importance of wealth, right? Co on! Let’s squander joyfully together and beco the wealthiest squanderers.]

Chuzheng expressed: I can teach him a lesson with my fists.

[…]

The King’s Account was so scared that it sent Chuzheng a mission to prevent her from teaching the County Magistrate a lesson.

Chuzheng sent greetings to the Bastard’s ancestors for eighteen generations.

The King’s Account responded with a smile: [Miss, be civilized, you are a big boss.]

Chuzheng, hehe: I didn’t use any dirty language.

[…]

Chuzheng kicked the King’s Account offline.

She waved to Liang Han: “Go take care of sothing.”

After hearing her, Liang Han looked at Chuzheng with a asure of fright.

Indeed, it’s difficult to raise won and villains.

“I’ll do it right away.” Liang Han didn’t dare to delay.

Chuzheng called him back: “How is the investigation on Qiu Ya coming along?”

“No news.”

Liang Han had run around the area but nobody had heard of the na.

“Are there any Qiu surnas around here?”

“…I didn’t ask about that.” Liang Han broke out in a cold sweat; as a bandit, he hadn’t thought that far.

Chuzheng wasn’t blaming him: “It’s a rare surna; asking around should turn up so clues.”

“Alright.”

Liang Han hurried off.

It was only after Liang Han left that Chuzheng realized sothing.

This ti, it wasn’t about saving a Good Person Card gone dark.

So the Bastard had a plotline!

Damn it!!

To think he fooled !

[…]Who fooled you, you didn’t ask , it’s not my fault.

Qiu Ya.

Heir of Qiu Residence in Cloud City.

The Qiu Family had ancestors who had established military rits in the past, but fearing the suspicion of those in power, the family head of the Qiu Family resigned from his official position and moved away from the center of power to do business in Cloud City, becoming a renowned wealthy gentry in the southern region.

Qiu Ya is the child born to the legitimate wife of the Qiu Family head.

However, the legitimate wife passed away due to illness.

The head of the Qiu Family took less than a year to remarry.

This lady naturally did not like children born from the first wife; as the legitimate heir, he would inherit the Qiu Family business in the future.

At that ti, Qiu Ya was old enough to rember things and could sense the hostility from his stepmother.

Children, after all, do not have the cunning of adults, and he wore his displeasure plainly.

Yet he did not expect to be manipulated by his stepmother.

Gradually, Qiu Ya fell out of favor with his father.

Once the stepmother bore a son, his father’s affection slowly shifted away.

By the ti Qiu Ya realized he had been used by his stepmother and started to hide his displeasure deep within himself, his father had nearly stopped paying any attention to him.

As Qiu Ya grew older, he still managed the Qiu Family business as the legitimate son.

The stepmother sensed a crisis looming.

During one of Qiu Ya’s trips, she arranged for people disguised as bandits to kidnap him. The original intent was to kill him, but unexpectedly, Qiu Ya escaped.

However, Qiu Ya sustained a head injury and beca an idiot.

Finding Qiu Ya still alive, the stepmother brought him back to the Qiu Residence.

At first, she suspected he was feigning his condition, and she humiliated him by all ans.

Once she realized Qiu Ya was truly an idiot, she let her guard down.

An idiot was just an extra mouth to feed, and occasionally, he could serve as a plaything when there was nothing else to do.

Qiu Ya then lived a long period of a humiliating life in the Qiu Residence.

No one knew when he beca lucid again.

Feigning madness, he eliminated those who had humiliated him one by one.

By the ti the stepmother noticed, he had almost taken control of the Qiu Family.

Not one of those who had wronged him escaped.

In the end, Qiu Ya turned into a notoriously cunning rchant known far and wide.

Chuzheng silently exhaled.

See! After turning dark, how good!

Nothing like he is now, such a giant baby!

“[…Miss, please be a good person.]” King’s Account weakly reminded.

“Be a good person,” Chuzheng clenched her fist, her expression serious, “I’ll try my best!”

“[…] Not seeing your effort at all… Wait a second, sothing about Miss’s words just now didn’t sound quite right.”

Cloud City is a large city nearby.

If this were modern tis, it would be the equivalent of a provincial capital.

From where they were… it was quite a distance.

Traveling by carriage day and night, it would take several days.

Qiu Ya’s mind was a bit off now; he completely forgot who he was, let alone the Qiu Family.

So as long as the Qiu Family didn’t find him, or he didn’t fall into the hands of the Qiu Family, Qiu Ya probably wouldn’t turn dark.

It seed he had to be locked up after all.

Indeed, there was nothing that locking up couldn’t solve.

Chuzheng felt her sleeve being tugged.

She looked down.

Qiu Ya was crouching on the ground, looking up at her.

Beneath long eyelashes, his clear eyes rippled with light, his lips slightly parted, his tongue-tip barely visible.

His expression was pure and innocent, yet it held an alluring quality, tempting one to take a taste.

His eager appearance resembled that of a large dog waiting to be petted by its master.

“What is it?” Chuzheng rested her chin on her hand, “Hungry? Or sleepy?”

Qiu Ya shook his head.

“Then what is it?”

Qiu Ya did not speak, just gazed at her.

Chuzheng glanced outside the door, where a few bandits were sitting in the yard eating, not paying attention to this side.

“Go shut the door.”

Qiu Ya obediently stood up, closed the door, and then returned to squat beside her.

“Have I been good to you?”

Without thinking, Qiu Ya nodded, “Good, you’re the best.”

She gave him food, put clean clothes on him, and did not beat him.

She was the best.

Thinking this, Qiu Ya’s lips couldn’t help but turn upwards, revealing a radiant smile.

Chuzheng took a deep breath, “Then shouldn’t you repay ?”

Qiu Ya thought for a mont but did not understand what repaynt ant.

But he felt he should nod.
