Chapter 786: Chapter 786: The Childhood Sweetheart Gets Married (12)

Yan Xiu was used as a negative example, and the head teacher publicly educated him at the Monday morning assembly—although no nas were ntioned, everyone knew who was being referred to.

When Yan Xiu was unhappy, Chuzheng was happy.

Her existence was just to make them unhappy, wasn’t it?

Although she would have preferred they didn’t exist at all.

Ah…

They affected my performance.

“Your existence is a disgrace,” the King’s Account corrected, “Disgrace, disgrace, disgrace disgrace disgrace disgrace…”

The King’s Account prattled on.

Chuzheng blocked it out, finally getting so peace and quiet.

Perhaps because of the major embarrassnt, Yan Xiu had beco low-key, and Chuzheng hadn’t seen him for several days.

As for Xiao i, Chuzheng had seen her twice; Xiao i glared at her from a distance but did not co over to start trouble.

It seed Chuzheng had scared her off last ti.

She wouldn’t bother Chuzheng again for a while.

Chuzheng spent two peaceful weeks at school.

Buzz—

Her phone vibrated.

Chuzheng glanced at the caller ID—her biological mother…

After her stepfather called her last ti and she blocked him, he hadn’t called again or sent anyone to look for her at school.

Looking at the ti, it was about the ti for her stepfather to reach out to her…

“Xiao Chu, why aren’t you answering the phone?” Jiang Jin, awakened by the vibration of the phone, nudged her.

Chuzheng ended the call, “It’s nothing.”

“Who is it?”

“Nobody.”

“…Hmm.” Jiang Jin was very sleepy, and after pondering for a mont, her mind still foggy, she lay down to continue sleeping.

Her mother was persistent and kept calling.

Chuzheng hung up and was about to block the number.

A text ssage ca in.

“Your uncle will co to see you at school tomorrow, and he has already forgiven you for everything. Talk to him and apologize properly.”

This was her biological mother.

Only contacting her because Shang Yu couldn’t reach her, just to relay Shang Yu’s ssage.

Throughout the ssage, not a single word showed concern for her daughter, who was out on her own.

Chuzheng’s eyes were cold and calm, without the slightest ripple of emotion.

She blocked the number.

Tomorrow, her stepfather Shang Yu was coming to find her.

She needed to think of a plan…

“Miss, I advise you to be kind,” the King’s Account spoke up, “We can spend money to buy his company, steal his business… in short, anything that money can solve, we can do. You don’t always have to resort to underhanded maneuvers!!”

Chuzheng rested her chin in her hand, spinning the pen in her fingers.

“Underhanded maneuvers aren’t necessarily done in secret, are they? Should they be done blatantly? Is that still called being underhanded?”

[…]The King’s Account was speechless.

The King’s Account issued a task to calm down.

The next day.

As expected, Shang Yu arrived.

Dressed as a successful businessman, with handso features and a tall stature, at first glance, he had the charm of a dashing older man.

No wonder many won were attracted to him.

“Chu Chu.”

Shang Yu called out to her.

Chuzheng paused for a mont, then calmly walked over, eting Shang Yu’s gaze, “Is there sothing you want?”

Surprised that Chuzheng dared to look him in the eye, Shang Yu concealed his doubt.

“Still angry?” Shang Yu’s deanor was more amiable than before, as if he were facing the son he shared with her mother.

“Uncle was angry before, but upon reflection, I see you were just being used,” Shang Yu sighed, “You are young, and it’s not your fault you were deceived. If uncle said anything harsh before, don’t take it to heart.”

When Shang Yu noticed Chuzheng’s lack of reaction, he played another card, “Your mother is very worried about you. Why don’t you co back with uncle?”

No child can resist the craving for their mother’s affection and praise.

The original owner had been the sa.

When she first arrived at the Shang Family, she thought that by being obedient, she would gain her mother’s attention and affection, but all she received was disappointnt.

In her mother’s eyes, there was only her half-brother from the sa mother.

Shang Yu, of course, knew these things. At this mont, he brought up her mother intending to use it to his advantage.

Unfortunately, Chuzheng did not take the bait.

“I have other things to do,” Chuzheng said indifferently, “Are you done? If so, I’m leaving first.”

Chuzheng left without waiting for Shang Yu’s reaction.

At this ti, school had just let out, and the crowd was at its peak, Shang Yu had no way of stopping her.

The amiableness on Shang Yu’s face disappeared in an instant, leaving only gloom.

Shang Yu had made up his mind to find Chuzheng. He ca almost every day, never empty-handed, always bringing various small gifts that girls tended to like.

But Chuzheng ignored him.

After being hung out to dry for several days, just when Shang Yu’s patience was nearly exhausted, he suddenly received a ssage from Chuzheng.

If you want to talk, go to the address she sent, otherwise forget it.

Shang Yu looked at the address and ti in the ssage, “Check out this place.”

“Yes.”

Jubao Hotel.

The hotel was neither particularly large nor small.

It was very close to Shengfeng High School.

“Miss Chuzheng has been staying here for a while now. She’s alone, no problems,” he was told.

Shang Yu nodded and eyed the hotel entrance.

That girl certainly had so money on her, and with no other place to stay, it made sense for her to stay here… She had classes today, so she scheduled the eting for the evening.

“Sir, would you like to accompany you?”

“No need.”

Shang Yu entered on schedule, the lobby was nearly empty, looking sowhat desolate.

Shang Yu took the elevator straight up.

8016.

Shang Yu knocked on the door.

The door creaked open, but Shang Yu saw no one; unsure, he still pushed the door open and entered.

As soon as he stepped inside, soone covered his mouth and nose.

Shang Yu was shocked and instinctively resisted.

However, dizziness swiftly overtook him, and his body slid powerlessly to the ground.

The man covering his mouth and nose made sure he was unconscious, then let go, allowing Shang Yu to fall to the floor.

A figure slowly appeared at the door.

“Young Boss,” the driver called out softly.

The girl with her hands in her pockets walked into the room, followed by another woman.

Dressed very scantily, her face was so heavily made-up it was nearly impossible to discern her features.

She threw a flirtatious wink at the driver in the room and sauntered after Chuzheng with a sway in her hips.

The driver shuddered and dragged Shang Yu to the bed.

The woman raised her eyebrows, “Is this him?”

Chuzheng looked at the man on the bed, “Send the pictures after you take them. Besides, you only have two hours. Soone will co to check the room in two hours. For what cos after, just do as I’ve instructed you, and you’ll be fine. Once it’s done, two million will be transferred to your account.”

Chuzheng paused, her gaze cold as she looked at her, “But… if you dare to play , be careful with your family.”

The woman’s complexion shifted slightly.

The driver pulled out a phone, opened the gallery, and showed the woman several photos.

The woman clenched her fist, “You…”

“Just a precaution, don’t be nervous. As long as you finish the task and keep your mouth shut, there will be no problem,” Chuzheng reassured.

“I will arrange a new identity for you. With this money, take your family and leave the city. Make sure no one can find you. You will have a brand-new beginning.”

Chuzheng leaned against the wall with her arms crossed, her youthful face showing nothing but indifference.

Is this a teenager?

The woman glared at Chuzheng.

She had thought this young girl would be easy to fool.

Little did she know the girl had thought much further ahead.

The woman dared not have any other thoughts.

Two million, that amount of money was more than enough…
