Chapter 808: Chapter 808: The Childhood Sweetheart Gets Married (34)

Yan Xiu and Yan Yan had a big fight at the school gate and parted on bad terms.

And the indiscreet photos of the school beauty Yan Yan, along with the blood-boiling grievances, were also spread around.

Yan Yan was suddenly the subject of much criticism at school.

So even spread her words of rejecting the wealthy second generation during the sumr camp, which now seed ironic.

Yan Xiu might have been a wealthy second generation, but the things he was able to buy for Yan Yan were too few.

Unlike that other man, who always had surprises for her at every eting, an array of luxury goods that Yan Yan couldn’t resist.

On one side was love; on the other, money.

Yan Yan felt that she still liked Yan Xiu because he was closer to her age.

Being with that other man was just to make herself seem more worthy of Yan Xiu.

She didn’t actually like that man at all.

But now that things had co to this point, she could only choose one.

Between love and money, Yan Yan chose money.

Liking soone probably really doesn’t have a reason; even after being cuckolded, Yan Xiu couldn’t forget Yan Yan.

He was in such a state of decay every day.

He had lost all his previous vigor and vitality.

Just when Yan Xiu was in his state of decay, his family’s company suddenly faced a crisis.

The last ti it was because of the company that Yan Xiu had deliberately approached Yao Chuzheng.

Relying on what he got from Yao Chuzheng, he weathered the crisis.

The company appeared to be fine, but internally there were nurous issues.

Others only needed to find a slight loophole to plunge the company into crisis again.

This ti there was no Yao Chuzheng to help them turn danger into safety.

Yan Xiu was trapped by his emotions, and for that period, he ignored his family affairs.

By the ti he ca to his senses, the company was nearly gone.

“I heard Yan Xiu dropped out of school,” Jiang Jin whispered into Chuzheng’s ear early in the morning.

“Oh.”

“Aren’t you curious why?” Jiang Jin looked at Chuzheng expectantly, as if her face scread ‘Ask ! Ask !’

“Not curious,” Chuzheng remained unmoved.

Jiang Jin looked at the young lady.

“Why?” The young lady gave face and cooperatively asked.

“Sothing happened to his family.” Jiang Jin rattled off everything she had heard, not even taking a breath.

Chuzheng knew all about it internally.

The young lady, however, wasn’t as aware, only having heard that there was so unrest in the Yan family but not realizing the severity.

It was so serious that Yan Xiu even had to drop out of school.

“Will the Yan family go bankrupt?” Jiang Jin was more curious about that.

“Bankruptcy is unlikely, but the company probably won’t carry the Yan na anymore,” the young lady gave an objective assessnt.

“What do you think, Xiao Chu?”

“…” I think… if I want it to go bankrupt, it goes bankrupt, if I don’t want it to, it doesn’t.

Chuzheng casually said, “Leave it to fate.”

“That’s true, haha, maybe they’ll find a powerful leg to cling onto and revive suddenly,” Jiang Jin curled her lips, “Just hope that scumbag doesn’t have such good luck.”

The news of Yan Xiu dropping out caused quite a stir at school.

Just as Xu Qingzi said, the Yan family wouldn’t go bankrupt, but the company wouldn’t be controlled by a Yan in the future.

Without the company to rely on, they would have to live like ordinary people.

Could Yan Xiu, who had been pampered since childhood as a wealthy second generation, adapt to that?

It was heard that Yan Xiu wasn’t doing too well, and for a long ti after, there was no news of him.

From what Bastard reported, Yan Xiu was miserable enough now, and the mission of turning the tables was almost complete, so Chuzheng stopped bothering with him.

As for Yan Yan, Chuzheng stopped supplying her with funds.

How Yan Yan eventually chose was her own business.

“Just Shang Yu left!”

Chuzheng muttered to herself.

She pulled out a docunt bag from the cabinet that Jing Liang had given her.

Inside were paternity test results.

Chuzheng flipped to the last page.

The identification result showed—it was not his biological child.

“I knew it.” He didn’t look like him at all.

Chuzheng had Jing Liang send the docunt to Shang Yu.

She also got in touch with people who were at odds with Shangyu Company and handed out the small video of Shang Yu she’d kept.

Next…

It was ti for them to put on a show.

All she needed to do was stir the pot when necessary.

When Shang Yu received the docunt and saw the paternity test result, he naturally didn’t believe it.

But after careful consideration, he realized Shang Lu really did not resemble him much.

The seed of doubt was sown.

Every ti Shang Yu ca ho and saw Shang Lu, he couldn’t help but ask himself if this was really his son.

After several such occurrences, Shang Yu finally couldn’t resist and went to do a paternity test himself.

When he got the test result, Shang Yu’s hands trembled.

It really wasn’t his son.

How could this be…

Shang Yu had previously had a wife, but she had never conceived.

The wife had several check-ups and there was no problem.

But she just couldn’t get pregnant.

So, the wife suggested that Shang Yu should get tested.

n have their pride and he adamantly refused to admit the problem could be with him, which led to their relationship deteriorating over ti until it resulted in divorce.

Not long after the divorce, Shang Yu married Mother Yao.

At that ti, Mother Yao had first beco pregnant and secured her status as a wealthy spouse with the child.

At this thought, the veins on the hand clutching the identification report bulged.

She actually dared to deceive him.

And dared to make him a cuckold!

Shang Yu returned ho furiously.

“Husband, why are you ho from work so early? Is everything alright at the company?” Mother Yao ca out to greet him, with a smile on her face and a graceful deanor.

Shang Yu slapped Mother Yao across the face.

Mother Yao staggered back, bumping into the cabinet behind her, and clutching her burning face in bewildernt: “Husband? Why did you hit ?”

“Whose bastard is Shang Lu?”

Shang Yu grabbed Mother Yao by the throat.

“Who did you have this bastard with? Huh?”

Mother Yao’s pupils shrank slightly. How had this been discovered?

Her heart pounded like thunder.

Guilt, nervousness, fear… Various emotions surged together rapidly.

Cold sweat broke out on Mother Yao’s palms, but she couldn’t panic.

She looked at Shang Yu in shock and confusion: “Husband, what are you talking about? Shang Lu is your child!”

“Mine? Do you think I’m a fool? Who have I been raising all these years?”

Shang Yu’s eyes were bloodshot with rage, thinking of the son he had cherished for so many years, who turned out not to be his own. His grip on Mother Yao tightened.

“Tell , whose child is that bastard? Who did you shalessly conceive with?”

“Cough, cough, cough…”

Mother Yao struggled.

As breathing beca increasingly difficult, her fingers flailed about until they suddenly seized sothing.

Without even looking at what it was, she smashed it on Shang Yu’s head.

Crash—

The porcelain vase shattered.

Blood flowed freely from Shang Yu’s head, and he released Mother Yao.

Free at last, Mother Yao retreated several steps, gasping for breath.

Shang Yu, clutching his head, was bleeding but not fatally wounded; it was just sowhat painful.

Mother Yao still tried to explain; she couldn’t let go of all the wealth and status: “Husband, is there so misunderstanding? Shang Lu really is your son.”

Shang Yu cursed and approached Mother Yao again.

The strength of a grown man was too much for Mother Yao to withstand.

Pinned to the ground by Shang Yu, she caught a glimpse of the paternity report that had fallen on the floor, with its bold script leaping out at her.

—Paternity Test.
