Chapter 942: Chapter 942: A Day as a Teacher (11)
“Brother Yu, how long do you think this new horoom teacher will last?”
“It’s a woman, I bet no more than a week.”
“A week? You’re giving her too much credit. I’d say three days, three days tops.”
“Why not place a bet?”
“Brother Yu, what do you say?”
A group of students started coming up the stairs, both boys and girls.
The boy leading them was both cool and arrogant, his hair dyed all sorts of colors, ears adorned with shiny earrings, a face handso enough to back up his chaotic style.
ng Yu brushed his hair aside, “You guys can play on your own.”
The group behind him imdiately started chattering away.
ng Yu walked at the front, and when he reached the classroom, he didn’t pause and went straight inside.
However, as soon as he stepped in, he stopped.
The people behind him were too engrossed in their discussion and didn’t notice, causing a pile-up at the doorway.
A wave of video ga sound effects ca from inside the classroom.
Several of their classmates were gathered around, and at a nearby table sat a young girl, legs up on a chair in a gangster-like fashion, playing a ga on her phone, her back to them.
“New girl?”
“Haven’t heard anything about a transfer student.”
“Not right. She’s dressed too much like an adult to be a student.”
“Can’t be the new horoom teacher, right?”
The new horoom teacher playing gas with their classmates?!
You’ve got to be kidding!
Chuzheng put her phone down and turned around to look at them.
The students caught sight of her face, which wasn’t extraordinarily stunning but rather pleasing to the eye, the kind that grows more attractive the longer you look.
She appeared quite young; swap her clothes, and she could pass as a student.
Yet her face showed no emotion, cold and robotic-like.
Chuzheng jumped off the table, walked up to the podium leisurely under everyone’s watchful eyes, “Co in.”
Everyone: “…”
In this class setting, she must be the horoom teacher!
She’s actually the horoom teacher!
The students who initially planned to challenge the new horoom teacher were a bit at a loss, ultimately filing in to sit at their desks.
Once seated, a collective “Whoa!” resounded internally.
How did they end up following her orders?!
ng Yu leaned his chin on his hand, staring at Chuzheng, lost in thought.
“Brother Yu, Brother Yu.”
The classmates behind him called out.
ng Yu slightly turned his face, “What?”
“This horoom teacher is kinda strange, aren’t we supposed to…”
Before that person finished speaking, a clear, cool voice cut in, “I’m your new horoom teacher, Ruan Chuzheng.”
She paused, “Today’s class was at eight, and you’re all half an hour late. Except for the few who were just playing gas with , everyone else, it’s ten laps around the field.”
“Teacher, that’s corporal punishnt,” soone imdiately replied from below.
Chuzheng cast a cold glance at that student, “Running benefits physical and ntal health, it’s a nationally promoted fitness activity. Where does corporal punishnt co into play?”
I’m encouraging you to exercise for your health, not punishing you.
All in the interest of your physical and ntal well-being.
Where else can you find such a great teacher like !
“…”
Though it felt completely unreasonable, why was it impossible to refute?
“Teacher, what if we choose not to go?” A student in the front row raised his hand to ask.
“That’s fine,” Chuzheng seed agreeable, “provided you can beat .”
“???!!!”
Did they hear that right?
A teacher wanting to fight them?!
Chuzheng scanned the room, “Who’s up first?”
The girls were all looking at the boys.
But Chuzheng looked like a cold-faced god of war, not showing any hint of anger, unlike any teacher they’d t before.
Soone stood up in the classroom.
Chuzheng turned her gaze to that boy.
The boy walked straight out without any intention of sparring with Chuzheng.
“Brother Yu!”
Once one boy moved, the others followed.
–
“Which class is out there on the field?”
The principal holding his goji berry thermos cup asked the teacher beside him.
It’s the first day of school, why are students running on the field?
The teacher beside him took a mont to identify, “I believe it’s the sophomore… oh, now it should be senior class twenty-two.”
The principal raised an eyebrow.
“Principal, is it really okay for Teacher Ruan to handle this class?” The teacher sounded worried as class twenty-two was notoriously difficult.
From freshman to sophomore year, they’ve changed horoom teachers every sester.
Teachers who’ve dealt with this class dare not even pass by their classroom now.
“Young Ruan is an interesting one,” the principal replied evasively.
“…”
What’s so interesting about this situation?
You’re sending a young girl to endure this punishnt, is this really a principal’s duty?
The principal asked again, “Has Qiao Lian arrived?”
The teacher: “…”
The teacher looked toward the field, unable to see clearly from this distance.
Finally, the teacher pointed in a direction, “Over there.”
Outside the field, a boy with headphones leaned against the railing.
Despite the hot weather, he wore a long-sleeved shirt and full-length pants, not seeming hot at all.
The boy watched the silhouettes on the field, while the rhythmic music flowed out from his headphones.
“Brother Yu, Qiao Lian’s here.”
ng Yu, while running, heard it and glanced in that direction.
The boy stood out prominently.
He pressed his lips together, scoffing lightly.
The people around seed to interpret sothing, and imdiately headed towards Chuzheng.
Chuzheng was still playing gas with the few students exempt from running, the arriving boy’s mouth curled slightly.
This teacher…
What’s going on!!
He took a breath and reported to Chuzheng, “Teacher, there’s soone else from our class who hasn’t run.”
“Hmm?” Chuzheng asked without lifting her head, “Who.”
“Qiao Lian. See, he’s only just arrived now,” the boy pointed outside.
Chuzheng finally looked up, following his gaze.
The boy leaned over watching, as the sunlight perfectly split him from the background.
Chuzheng lowered her head again, started another ga, speaking leisurely, “He doesn’t need to run. For tattling, add ten laps, consider them his, run them for him.”
Boy: “???”
The heck!
Why!
“Teacher, that’s favoritism,” the boy protested, discontented, why must they run and not Qiao Lian?
“Oh, I’m the teacher.” I make the rules.
“…”
The boy’s temper flared, “I’m not running anymore!”
Chuzheng handed her phone to a nearby student, advising him, “Don’t die.”
She stood up, “Follow .”
“What for?”
Chuzheng indicated him to follow.
The boy looked toward his classmates on the field; so many teachers had left in anger, what was there to fear from this one?
Thinking this way, the boy followed Chuzheng away with a fierce expression.
Minutes later, the boy reappeared, silently returning to the track to start running.
Chuzheng returned, took back her phone, continuing her ga.
“What did she call you away for?”
“Nothing.”
“Why didn’t she make Qiao Lian run?”
“No idea.”
“You…”
The boy accelerated, leaving them behind.
