Chapter 949: Chapter 949: A Day as a Teacher (18)

Chuzheng asked soone to bring Qiao Lian over.

“Did you sign up?”

Chuzheng placed the registration form in front of him.

Qiao Lian glanced at it, shook his head: “No, I didn’t.”

“Then who filled out this registration form?”

“Probably ng Yu.” Qiao Lian lowered his eyelashes: “Teacher, I won’t participate. If there’s nothing else, I’ll be leaving now.”

Chuzheng remained silent and gestured for him to leave first.

Chuzheng looked at the program on the registration form.

Piano…

Can Qiao Lian play the piano?

Chuzheng wasn’t very clear about it, but ng Yu could.

It’s impossible for a class to have two identical programs or, if other classes have the sa program, they eventually negotiate who changes their program.

What does ng Yu an by filling out such a registration form for Qiao Lian?

Chuzheng pondered and felt it necessary to investigate Qiao Lian’s background.

Chuzheng quickly obtained Qiao Lian’s information.

Qiao Lian wasn’t so illegitimate child, nor was there any cliché of a mistress rising to power and a stepmother taking over.

He was the only child of the Qiao family.

Qiao Lian’s mother was once a popular star who retired from the lilight after marrying into the Qiao family.

She gave birth to Qiao Lian not long after the marriage.

However, giving birth to Qiao Lian caused Qiao’s mother’s health to weaken irreparably.

When Qiao Lian was very young, Qiao’s mother passed away from illness.

After Qiao’s mother’s death, Father Qiao didn’t find a stepmother for Qiao Lian and wasn’t surrounded by other won; people said Father Qiao was a devoted man.

Qiao Lian was their only son.

Logically, such a cherished only child should be very happy.

But from Qiao Lian, Chuzheng couldn’t see a trace of happiness.

The information was only this much, and nothing else could be found.

The vast Qiao household had no servants, and the people around Father Qiao weren’t very aware of his private affairs.

Chuzheng flipped through, finding so news about Father Qiao.

Chuzheng tossed down the material and then picked it up again suddenly.

‘First Prize in the National Youth and Children’s Piano Competition’

Chuzheng carefully flipped through once more.

But apart from this, there were no other awards.

Chuzheng couldn’t figure it out, so she decided not to think about it for now.

Friday was a holiday.

As the class teacher, Chuzheng had to watch the students leave before she could leave.

Once most of the students had left the school, Chuzheng took a look in the classroom.

Unexpectedly, there were still people in the classroom.

ng Yu, leading a few others, had cornered Qiao Lian in the classroom.

Whoa!

I even stumbled upon a live version of school bullying!

But both sides weren’t as Chuzheng imagined; ng Yu was just nonchalantly provoking: “Qiao Lian, if you’ve got the guts, participate, don’t make look down on you.”

Qiao Lian said nothing.

ng Yu cursed under his breath, took two steps forward, and whispered sothing into Qiao Lian’s ear.

Chuzheng, standing outside, couldn’t hear, but Qiao Lian had a noticeable reaction.

ng Yu pat him on the shoulder and left with his followers through the back door.

When the back door was opened, ng Yu saw the class teacher who was trying to rock his role as class leader standing outside with no expression.

“Teacher Ruan, you haven’t left yet?” ng Yu greeted as if nothing had happened.

“What were you doing? Bullying my Good Person Card again!!”

“I wasn’t doing anything.” ng Yu shrugged; indeed he hadn’t done anything, so he was completely unafraid: “Teacher, we’re leaving now.”

ng Yu quickly slipped away with his followers.

Chuzheng looked into the classroom, where Qiao Lian was coming out with his backpack.

Chuzheng studied him: “ng Yu didn’t hit you, did he?”

Qiao Lian was slightly taken aback, seeming not to expect Chuzheng to ask this.

He quickly lowered his head, the soft hair covering his eyes, and said softly: “No. Teacher, I’m leaving first.”

“I’ll walk you out.”

“No need, the driver is waiting for outside.” Qiao Lian said: “Thank you, Teacher.”

“I’ll walk you to the gate.” Chuzheng compromised.

Qiao Lian had no reason to refuse now, so he nodded, and Chuzheng locked the classroom door and left the school with Qiao Lian.

At this ti, there were not many people at the school gate; Qiao Lian looked around, seemingly unable to find the car.

Qiao Lian took out his phone and found a ssage sitting in the inbox; he glanced at it and put the phone away.

Chuzheng didn’t see what the ssage said, but from the current situation, it was certain that no one was picking up Qiao Lian.

“Let’s go, I’ll take you.”

Qiao Lian hesitated: “Thank you, Teacher.”

Chuzheng took Qiao Lian over, and as soon as he stepped out, soone ca out and waved at him.

“Qiao Lian!”

The person ran over.

A boy about the sa age as Qiao Lian, sunny and handso, dressed in brand nas from head to toe.

The boy grabbed Qiao Lian’s arm, panting: “You didn’t answer my calls, I thought you got lost again… Hey, who’s this?”

Qiao Lian discreetly withdrew his hand: “This is my class teacher, Teacher Ruan.”

“Hello, Teacher.” The boy gave a not-so-formal salute: “I’m Qiao Lian’s childhood friend, Lu Zhou.”

Chuzheng nodded: “I’ll be leaving then.”

“Goodbye, Teacher!”

Lu Zhou waved.

Once Chuzheng left, Lu Zhou hooked his arm around Qiao Lian’s neck: “Qiao Lian, your class teacher is pretty and has such presence.”

Despite his young age, Lu Zhou grew up in this circle.

He had a decent eye for people.

“Mm.” Qiao Lian pulled his hand away and walked inside.

Lu Zhou was curious: “Why did she walk you ho? Are all your school’s class teachers that pretty? If I’d known, I would have gone to your school instead of attending an international school. Hey, slow down, my dear ancestor, this way!!”

Qiao Lian nonchalantly turned back and walked the other way.

Lu Zhou scornfully said, “I’m really impressed by you, getting lost at your own doorstep; I wonder how you’ll manage in the future.”

“Lu Zhou.”

“Hm?”

“Do you think I’m a troublemaker?”

Lu Zhou paused, then slapped him on the shoulder: “What are you talking about? We grew up together, that’s the bond of brothers. Don’t worry, your brother is always there for you.”

“Thank you.”

“There’s no need for thank you between us. Want to co over to my place?”

“My dad should be ho.”

“What are you going back for? Co on, co on, let’s go to my place.” Lu Zhou forcibly dragged Qiao Lian to his house: “You still haven’t answered my question, are all the teachers at your school that pretty and classy?”

“…”

The teachers were really busy during the culture festival, and Chuzheng didn’t have ti to take care of Qiao Lian.

However, Chuzheng held onto Qiao Lian’s registration form.

How could she let the Good Person Card do sothing he didn’t like?

She also conveniently held onto ng Yu’s registration form.

Upon learning this, ng Yu ca to argue with Chuzheng.

“Teacher, what do you an by this?”

“You participated in the last couple of years; it’s ti to give others a chance.” Chuzheng said with confidence: “With your ability, you can participate in competitions; there’s no need to waste it here.”

ng Yu twitched his lips: “Teacher Ruan, are you picking on ?”

Oh dear.

I’ve been found out.

Who told you to bully my Good Person Card!

“No, don’t talk nonsense.” Chuzheng denied it righteously: “Why would I pick on you.”

ng Yu: “…”

Since Chuzheng was the class teacher, if she didn’t allow ng Yu to participate, he was helpless except for being angry.

Complain?

The principal insisted on ‘one class, one discipline,’ and he couldn’t intervene.
