Diana cald down soon after, and the two of them created a small living area within the ice walls. She explained that Julia and the others were busy taking away the Runic Do before it hard anyone, leaving Arthur and Diana stranded outside the city.

The two of them could easily go back to the Council building, where the party happened two days ago, but it was still being cleaned and repaired after their drunken adventure.

Arthur felt like he needed to understand his situation better before he went back toward Runera. He couldn't even fathom the changes in his body or where his hair had gone, but he could begin to understand with the help of his new legacy.

A small ho was created by using the ice walls, which was more soothing than chilling. Diana even went the extra mile to turn her ice into walls and flooring, much to Arthur's surprise. She explained that she learned a sigil in the stolen realm where she could mimic other things.

After returning to their world, it turned out that sigils had far more effect here. It was the natural unwillingness of the stolen realm against sigils being used inside it, or it was the curse of Invidia.

Arthur took out so furniture from his subspace and placed it around the small house. In just under fifteen minutes, the two of them had a private residence in the wilderness outside of Runera.

Once the two were done, Diana hugged him tight and said she would make them so food, much to Arthur's delight. He waited in the living room while Diana went to their fully functional kitchen to make them a al.

Arthur sat down on the couch, sinking into the fabric. He took a deep, calming breath, as his excitent coursed through his veins. Then, he took another deep breath and opened the legacy.

[Legacy Reawakening: Completed.]

[Physical Recalibration: Completed.]

[Soul Harmony: Completed.]

[New Achievent: Reborn.]

[New Achievent: Harmony.]

[New Achievent: Manipulator.]

[The Architect Legacy has been created.]

Arthur almost jumped out of his skin the mont that the voice bood in his head. Unlike his past legacy, this one ca with a voice feature that read the notifications in his head. It was slightly feminine, with a clear accent of the demi-humans.

He coughed in embarrassnt since Arthur knew that his subconsciousness had chosen this voice for very obvious reasons. This fact would be taken with him to the grave, as telling Diana might make her look at him a little weird.

Then, he began to realize the implications behind the notification. His race had evolved? Arthur looked down at the crystal embedded into his sternum and could only groan. He didn't have any attachnt to being a human, but the change was too sudden. The only relief was that he still looked human, even though he looked a little like Gala with the gem embedded into his flesh.

Another matter was these achievents he received after having reawakened the legacy. He didn't have sothing like that in his past one, and he guessed that it had sothing to do with the recalibration to fit the new reality.

Arthur activated the legacy with a wave of his hand, as six more rows appeared in front of him. He was surprised to see them rather concise.

[You can access one of the following features.]

[Self]

[Path]

[Future]

[Cosmos]

[Glory]

The five options each hovered with a different light. Arthur already had so expectations based on his last legacy, but still chose to go through them systematically. He chose Self, and a new nu appeared.

[Na: Arthur Netherborne.]

[Titles: Twinborn.]

[Soul Level: 6.]

[Form Level: 1.]

[Race: Solari.]

[Class: Architect of Dawn.]

[Ichor: 10/10.]

[Body: 6.]

[Mind: 6.]

[Insight: 6.]

[Spirit: —]

[Ichor Points: 3.]

Arthur needed another few monts to go through them all, but there were too many changes. He now had two levels, one for his Soul and one for his Form. It could be explained as soul and body, but Arthur felt there was sothing more to it.

The title, Twinborn, might have erged from his dual abilities of opposing natures. He was a little surprised to see no ntion of wrath in the nu and wondered if it didn't get integrated.

His race was now sothing called Solari, which Arthur had never heard of before. He could only assu that the knowledge ca from either of his legacies, or even the legacy itself being capable of finding truths about the universe.

As for his class, Arthur could tell it was sothing related to creation, but not exactly what it ant. Here on Earth, classes were things that society invented to allow people to walk certain paths and specialties. He never thought it would be a real thing.

The most confusing things were his stats. Arthur looked at them for a long while before he understood what happened. He assud that he lost all of his stats, but that wasn't the case. His stats had simply crystallized.

Arthur had been stuck at the bottleneck for a while with his stats capped in the six hundreds. The legacy seed to have converted each hundred to a single point, but such consolidation of his stats made no sense.

A certain thought crept into his mind, both alarming and exciting. If stats in the legacy equaled a hundred stat points here on Earth, would he grow stronger by a hundred points every ti he gained a stat point?

At the sa ti, Arthur was alard that this might be the norm for the rest of the universe. If each stat point here on Earth was so much weaker than the rest of the universe, and Arthur barely had any stats, what kind of monsters lived in the rest of the universe?

In the end, Arthur had to push these thoughts down. The last line about ichor points told him that he had a way to raise these stats, although he didn't understand what they were yet.

Arthur left this nu to enter the other one, called the Path. He thought it was related to the Sovereign Path, but he was wrong. It beca apparent with a single glance at the two trees that it was his own path.

The trees started with a single slot and then branched into multiple ones. All the slots were dim, and one of the trees didn't even have slots, just never-ending branches. Arthur focused on the tree that did have so glow at the top.

[Tree of Dawn.]

[Omniscient Eyes] — [1 Ichor Point]

That was the only thing that erged when Arthur focused on the tree and the radiant slot underneath it, sitting at the top of the pyramid. He focused again on the Omniscient Eyes and was surprised to see a popup of an explanation.

[Omniscient Eyes: your eyes will beco the beholders of truth, giving you access to the vast knowledge of the universe only with a glance. This power cannot be upgraded.]

Arthur was a little surprised but understood that this was an ability, albeit the legacy made it seem more powerful. If the Path nu allowed him to grow stronger and obtain more abilities, why did he have two trees instead of one?

Arthur had the impulse to buy the power with one of his Ichor Points but stopped himself. He wanted to complete a full examination of his new legacy before making such a decision. He still felt sothing was amiss with this new legacy.

Arthur quickly moved and opened the Future tab, where he found a single entry. It was a Quest like the ones he received early on with the legacy, and the ones that his father received.

[World Protector (Quest): prevent the gods from descending to your world through the ans of vessels. Kill as many vessels as possible. Rewards will be calculated based on the number of vessels.]

Arthur frowned as he looked at the quest but soon understood the reasoning. He would have to fight against the vessels in any case, and having them gathered in the Divine Trial.

A Quest telling him to kill others would have terrorized Arthur if this was his first legacy, but he felt nothing. The nine guardians had already dood this world when they allied with the gods, and he wasn't about to see it happen again.

The nu had nothing more, but Arthur was sure it would give him more Quests once he finished this one. He left the nu and entered the next one, called Cosmos.

The scene around him disappeared the mont he accessed the nu. A starry night replaced the walls and ceiling, and Arthur found himself floating within them. He was surprised but not alard by the scene. He felt the familiar feeling of standing in front of the monolith.

The stars shone in the distance, each one beckoning him to learn its secrets but far beyond what he could reach. Arthur felt a call from behind him and turned around to see two giant spheres that made the rest dim in comparison.

One of the two spheres was a blazing fire of life, with light reaching the most distant land. A single glance at it and Arthur knew this was the truth behind creation, the sa deeper understanding of runes that had always helped him.

The other sphere was far less radiant, but it looked like a black hole swallowing all light approaching it. It was oppressive and threatening, as if marking the end of all life. This was wrath, the bringer of oblivion.

Arthur felt a strong connection to both stars, but he couldn't reach out as well. It felt like he was hindered by his own lacking understanding of the two stars rather than physical distance.
