It looked old and worn, the edges of the pages slightly frayed, as if it had been used countless tis.

Reign hesitated for a mont, then slowly reached out and picked it up. His fingers brushed over the rough cover before he opened it.
The pages were filled with ssy handwriting. So lines were pressed deeply into the paper, as if written in frustration, while others were faint and uneven.
His eyes moved across the words.

His fingers stiffened slightly.

A faint fla appeared at the edge of the pages.
In the next instant, the entire diary caught fire.
Reigns instinctively tried to throw it away, but the flas spread too quickly.
Within seconds, the pages started to burn furiously.
All that remained was a small pile of ashes slipping through his fingers amidst which a page flew that was engulfed with fire.
On it Reigns noticed a line.
