Hai Yulong’s death beca a fuse.
The entire Misty Cloud City, and even the entire Central Continent, beca turbulent.
On the surface, everything was as calm as ever, but underneath, it was a raging storm.
Luo Tian had not expected this at all.
But he did achieve his goal.
Not a single person suspected him of Hai Yulong’s death, except for one person…
Yi Yunng!
The Yi family of Misty Cloud City, in a dilapidated little courtyard on the north side.
Yi Yunng was pushing a wheelchair, looking at the stars in the sky, and smiling gently.
Sitting in the wheelchair was a boy of about fifteen or sixteen years old. When he looked up to see his older sister smiling, he couldn’t help grinning and said, “Sis, do you really believe in him that much? How could he possibly be a match for Hai Yulong?”
“Even if he could win, he couldn’t possibly possess Heaven’s Chosen Power. Otherwise, he would have used it back in Towering Cloud City.”
He was Yi Yunng’s younger brother, Yi Qiancheng.
Yi Yunng was poisoned after offending the Hai family, so her position in the Yi family had plumted.
Before being poisoned, she lived in a beautiful and distinctive courtyard. Now, even this simple little courtyard felt like the family was giving it to her as a charity. If it wasn’t because the family was worried that the Hai family’s Crown prince still liked her, they would have kicked her out long ago.
From Yi Yunng’s point of view, if it wasn’t for her little brother, she would have left this place full of hatred long ago.
Yi Yunng smiled and replied, “It’s definitely him, there’s no mistaking it.”
Yi Qiancheng sneered, “I don’t believe it. I wouldn’t believe it even if you beat to death. Going from the Spirit Martial realm to the Martial Void realm in less than a month? Even if he possessed supre grade talent, he wouldn’t be able to do it. Even Hai Huanglong couldn’t do it.”
Indeed, who would believe it?
Unless that person was crazy.
Yi Yunng was precisely that kind of crazy person though.
She couldn’t say why, but her intuition told her that it must have been Luo Tian who killed Hai Yulong!
With the news of Hai Yulong’s death, she felt a sweetness in her heart because there was a man standing up for her. This had never happened before, and the sweetness in her heart made her feel a little overwheld. She unconsciously started smiling because of it.
This made Yi Qiancheng even more curious about Luo Tian. He then said, “I’m going to see what kind of person this future brother-in-law is!”
anwhile, back to Luo Tian.
He had been running for an unknown amount of ti.
He was only thinking about leaving the scene as far as possible, and not letting anyone discover him.
And he did manage to do it.
No one in the Hai family suspected him because Hai Yulong had snuck out. No one knew why he had snuck out, so no one suspected Luo Tian.
With Hai Yulong’s death, there was upheaval in the Hai family. This event was the fuse that led to a chain reaction. Luo Tian didn’t know, and even if he did, he wouldn’t care. What did all this have to do with him?
The more chaos, the better!
The Hai family encountering trouble was good news for Luo Tian because the Hai family would temporarily forget about him. No one would be chasing after him, and Bai Xiong and the others would be safe for a while. This gave Luo Tian enough ti to recuperate.
“Fuuu~… fuuu~… fuuu~…”
An unknown amount of ti passed by.
Only when the sky was getting bright did Luo Tian finally stop. He propped his hands on his thighs, panting heavily, and looked around. He then muttered angrily, “Damn it, where am I?”
He was lost!
He had been running very fast and was too anxious. He wanted to run as far away as possible, but he hadn’t expected that he would actually get lost.
This was a wilderness, with no houses around. Even if Luo Tian wanted to find soone to ask for directions, he couldn’t. He simply gave up and sat down with a thud, before saying to himself, “I’ll rest for a bit first. If I keep running like this, I’ll probably die of exhaustion.”
“I wonder how Bai Xiong and the others are doing.”
“I hope they can reach Misty Cloud City safely!”
Luo Tian unknowingly fell into a deep sleep until daybreak the next day.
Luo Tian climbed onto a relatively high hilltop, looked out into the distance, and discovered a small village at the foot of the mountain. He was jumping for joy internally before saying to himself, “There are finally signs of habitation.”
Luo Tian then hurried towards the village.
He needed to reach Misty Cloud Academy as soon as possible and to reunite with Bai Xiong and the others. Otherwise, he might miss the second round of testing. Luo Tian didn’t have the ti to wait another year.
Ten minutes later, Luo Tian arrived at a small hill.
At this ti, the sun was rising in the east. A young man was sitting cross-legged and facing the red sun. He was ditating and practicing so type of breathing exercise, seeming to be absorbing the yuan energy of the world. But his movents were a bit strange, different from other martial artists.
Luo Tian didn’t bother him.
His own way of cultivating was just killing monsters, and killing people. As for how people comprehended heaven and earth, and absorbed yuan energy into their dantian, he didn’t understand any of it.
He glanced at the youth one last ti before quickly walking down the hillside.
Before Luo Tian even entered the village, he could hear the sound of soone forging iron in the distance.
“Ding~, bang~, ding~, bang~…”
Luo Tian wasn’t in a hurry to ask for directions. Instead, he found a simple teahouse and said, “Boss, bring a basket of stead buns.”
He needed to fill his stomach first.
The stead buns were quickly served, and Luo Tian ate heartily. He then casually asked, “Boss, what place is this?”
The boss was busy adding firewood to the stove and said one word at a ti in between adding the wood, “Holy. Soul. Village.”
“Holy Soul Village?”
“What a grand na!”
Luo Tian couldn’t help but be shocked. How could such a small village have such a powerful sounding na? It was truly surprising. However, as he stuffed a stead bun into his mouth, sothing suddenly flashed through his mind. Even though he was very hungry, he didn’t swallow the bun. Instead, he took it out, frowned slightly, and muttered to himself, “This village’s na sounds really familiar. I feel like I’ve heard of it sowhere before.”
He thought for half a minute, but still couldn’t rember where he had seen or heard of the na.
Luo Tian then stopped trying to think about it.
He was too lazy to waste his brain cells on things he couldn’t figure out. He’d rather use that ti to eat two more stead buns.
After finishing the stead buns, he left behind a xuan coin.
Luo Tian determined his direction and headed southeast, which was the only road leading out of the village.
He had lost his way and taken many detours, so he had to hurry to catch up and reunite with Bai Xiong and the others.
Just as he was about to exit the village, he walked past a blacksmith’s house. At this ti, there was a large man who was drunk inside. Luo Tian couldn’t help thinking to himself, “Drinking so early in the morning? How can he even forge iron?”
At this ti, the young man who had been sitting in ditation on the hillside while practicing breathing exercises walked into the house. He looked at the large man with respect and affection in his eyes.
The large man said in a drunken state, “Tang San, you’re back.”
Luo Tian was about to leave but when he heard the na Tang San, his body seed to have been struck by lightning. He stood still and looked at the youth, unconsciously stepping forward and asking, “Can you tell what your na is?”
The youth glanced at Luo Tian and said, “My na is Tang San!”
