dical Center. Operating Room.

George was taking forever to respond, making Adam feel the sa impatience Hu Yifei must've felt waiting for takeout. He was this close to grabbing Soldier War God's head and smashing it into the floor. 😤

One smash, one shout to hurry up.

But Adam? He's the sun, the light of justice! Under all those watchful eyes and caras, there's no way he'd do anything remotely emotional or out of line.

Hmm…

This footage is definitely getting shown to Lexi later.

Take notes, kid.

This is how you stay detached without coming off as cold.

After Adam's relentless nudging, George finally shuffled over with the sedative in hand.

"Here."

Adam saw how shaky and hesitant George was, too scared to get close. He didn't push it—just handed over his phone, took the sedative syringe, and jabbed it cleanly into Soldier War God's thrashing neck. Done in a flash. 💉✨

That drug? Terrifyingly effective.

When it says lights out, you're out.

If it were Adam, his freakish, almost inhuman physique might've shrugged off most of the sedative's effects. You'd probably need double—nah, triple—the dose to knock him down. But this Soldier War God? Just a regular guy. He was out cold in seconds.

"You guys take it from here."

Adam grabbed his phone back from George, then casually hoisted the unconscious, fully ard Soldier War God with one hand—like he weighed nothing—and gave Dr. Shepter a nod before heading out.

"…"

The room full of dical staff was still frozen in shock, unable to process what just happened.

"Thanks, Adam," Dr. Shepter said, snapping out of it first.

Top-tier doctor vibes—guy's got a heart big enough to stick to his morals even with a gun in his face. He was the first to recover, calling out sincerely as Adam reached the door.

"No problem."

Adam flashed a quick smile over his shoulder.

Dr. Shepter really impressed him. Not many people could hold onto their principles like that under pressure.

Brave, righteous… maybe a little naive.

Adam sure as hell couldn't do it.

Because the system's little 0.01 ping made it crystal clear: if Adam hadn't stepped in, Dr. Shepter would've been toast.

And that just made Adam hate Soldier War God even more.

This jerk could've easily shot the last nursing ho worker lying on that operating table. If he had, Adam wouldn't have gotten involved at all—just quietly slipped out with the injured security guard, no innocent lives at risk. In Adam's book, that worker had it coming anyway.

But nooo, this guy had to force Dr. Shepter into so twisted moral dilemma—choose between his ethics and his life. And when Shepter refused to ditch his doctorly duty? This lunatic actually tried to shoot an innocent, good man.

Seriously?!

At Golden Light Nursing Ho, sure, Dr. Karen Amos was one of the devils. But that doesn't an every doctor's rotten! This guy didn't need to ss with a clearly decent doctor just to test if his "justice" was legit—like so Moon Worshipping Cult Leader obsessed with proving love's a lie.

And then, when Shepter proved he was a good doctor, Soldier War God got pissed. Thought Shepter was mocking him or putting on an act. So he decided to shoot anyway.

"If you're not with , you're against ."

That black-and-white nonsense? Infuriating.

Even that Black kid who stord the ER with a gun last ti had more sense than this guy.

Now Adam's stuck being his enemy too.

Why make it harder than it needs to be?

Yup, you heard that right!

This reckless Soldier War God, in his blind rage, even yelled he'd kill Adam.

Adam's not about to brush that off.

No way.

Before, he was just a bystander munching popcorn 🍿, but now that Soldier War God's made him a "life-or-death enemy," well, ga on.

In the ti it took to walk out, Adam already had four plans cooking:

Plan 1: Send lawyers to keep tabs on the case, showing "concern" every step of the way.

Plan 2: Subtly tip off the rookie cops. Soldier War God's stunt nearly got one of them killed—let the police push the courts for a harsh, fast, no-rcy sentence. Oh, and make sure he's "well taken care of" in prison.

Plan 3: Team up with the doctors' union. Get them to amplify the pressure—triple the "harsh, fast, no-rcy" vibe. Dr. Shepter's courage, justice, and dical ethics here could undo a lot of the damage Karen Amos did to doctors' reputations. Soldier War God trying to kill a guy like that? Outrageous. The union's got clout—nobody wants to cross them unless they're ready to swear off doctors forever (good luck with that).

Plan 4: Expand his security observation team. Make Soldier War God Priority #1—track his every move, keep him under a microscope. No surprises allowed. Hire a few extra hands for this. Money's not an issue.

If Soldier War God still manages to sneak up on Adam after all that? Well, Adam would just curse him for cheating, go full dark mode, get ten tis stronger, and take him out. Easy. 😏

Adam hauled the unconscious Soldier War God out of the OR and plopped him onto a gurney. He waved at a nearby nurse to grab so psych-patient restraints, then stripped the guy of all his gear and handed it off to the cops who'd just shown up.

With everyone staring like he was so alien, Adam expertly tied Soldier War God up in a way that was borderline artistic—zero chance of breaking free.

Crack!

A bone-snapping sound made everyone flinch.

Adam, cool as ever, reset the guy's broken right arm, gave it a quick patch-up, and told the nurse to hand him over to Kelly—the chief resident and ortho doc—under police watch.

Shorty and Carter, just freed from the elevator by firefighters, were wheeling the rookie cop down the hall toward them.

Adam didn't have ti to babysit Soldier War God anymore.

"…Cindy, what are you doing?"

Then he caught a sight that made him twitch a smile.

"Sorry, Dr. Duncan…"

Nurse Cindy's face went beet red. She stamred, "I just saw how pretty and artistic Dr. Duncan made it, and I couldn't help myself…"

"…If you like it, that's fine."

Adam chuckled, keeping it chill to save her from embarrassnt in front of everyone. But he couldn't resist adding, "Just be careful—he's dangerous, not a gift. Don't go untying the bottom straps…"

Turns out, Nurse Cindy loved Adam's binding job so much that when she took over, she grabbed the leftover straps and tied a perfect little bow on top.

In Arican TV land, people love wrapping gifts all fancy-like. Labor's pricey here—no way they're hiring soone every ti. So folks who gift a lot just DIY it.

Cindy? Clearly a pro. That classic gift-box bow was fast and flawless.

Just… kinda weird for the occasion. 😅
