Priests continuously poured in; they first stationed at the Frontier of Central Continent, maintaining law and order. So people, lacking strength, no matter how hard they tried in their lifeti, could not squeeze into the Central Continent. As they grew older, they naturally lost motivation.
So people are talented and outstanding enough to rapidly rise to the top.
The more resources, the more positive feedback, and the faster the speed of cultivation...
The priest system allows the Source Tower to gather the "talents" it needs to the greatest extent, while also ensuring the integrity of the Transcendent system across the entire Central Continent. It allows Transcendents at every stage to have space to exert their residual heat and motivation to cultivate upwards!
