The Thunder Realm Walker slowly extended a hand, gesturing for the girl in black to step aboard.
Gu Xiaoman grinned. She wasn’t going to be polite with Bai Xiu, so she stepped onto the Thunder Realm Walker’s palm, finding it unexpectedly comfortable without any anticipated bursts of thunder light. The armored being withdrew all hostility, with only the crackling static lightning resonating around Gu Xiaoman without actually touching her. The Thunder Realm Walker gingerly placed the girl on its right shoulder, then repeated the sa action to place its master on the left shoulder.

The surface of the frozen lake shattered.
