Chapter 963: Chapter 127: She Will Not Abandon a Single Subject

The Black Snow Mountain lay in ruins.

The intense shockwave spread, covering the entire Disaster Realm.

The raging black waters of the Duolu River surged, crashing down from above. In this shockwave, the decades of accumulated snow on Black Snow Mountain were washed away… The fleet that had just started to turn around failed to dodge in ti, was hit by the shockwave unleashed by the traveller, and thus plunged and crashed heavily into the river!

The propulsion system collapsed instantly, but the “Spirit Network” inside the equipnt was still connected.

Osmond linked spiritually with all the captains.

As the Source Energy Boat fell, these captains imdiately led their team mbers to switch to brand-new Source Armor, opened the cabins, and evacuated urgently. They expanded their domains, using the black water of the Duolu River to cushion themselves… At this mont, they couldn’t care less about the so-called “Spiritual Poison” corrosion!

But surprisingly, the waters of the Duolu River at this mont seed no longer to contain river poison.

The captains who expanded their domains did not feel their spirit being corroded… Now was not the ti to discuss this issue. Those bone-winged creatures wrapping around the main boat, reckless of death, were still launching a siege on them. Under the recent shockwave, these creatures exploded in large numbers, but the blood of their companions only made them more frenzied.

Domains unfolded one by one.

Osmond roared, expanding his domain to the maximum. This commander hadn’t personally gone to the battlefield for a long ti, although he was old, his blade remained sharp. After the main boat fell, this old lion charged ahead of everyone. After the light beam descended on Black Snow Mountain, the reboot squad had no other choice but to retreat.

In the chaos, soone needed to stabilize the situation.

No one else could do it but him.

He was going to lead the young behind him and carve a bloody path.

“Lin!”

After shattering a few bone-winged creatures attacking him, Osmond threw out the shimring long knife. This long knife slid in a straight trajectory through the waters of the Nether River—

He gave his most cherished battle knife to Lin Lin.

“Now… a commander is no longer needed.”

The old man’s voice was slightly hoarse, resonating and spreading under the water, yet it had quite a bit of shock on Lin Lin’s spirit: “Didn’t you want to charge? Now is the ti, go ahead, charge, I will take care of your back.”

Lin Lin took the Qiaxike saber. Qiaxike is a small ironworking town in the North Continent that was known for its craftsmanship in knife making before the Empress ascended the throne, and was plagued by war. Each knife made there was of excellent quality, and this knife was the best of the best. The blade was light, engraved with ancient scripts by three Spiritual Transcendents to enhance the stability and speed of drawing the knife, and the blade had a wavy pattern. The scabbard had a carved lock with the initials A.M, which was Osmond’s code initials when he had just joined the Third Legion.

Lin Lin gripped the battle knife tightly and asked, “What is its na?”

“Old Fellow.”

Osmond smiled faintly, “Just like I am now.”

When he got this knife, he was not an “Old Fellow.”

When he first joined the Third Legion, Osmond was in his twenties, still very young, blonde hair, blue eyes, full of high spirits. General Bai Xi took a liking to this passionate young man from the Central Continent at first glance and gave him the “Old Fellow” after he beca his adjutant.

This knife is already a hundred years old.

Enduring and ever new.

The generations of knife bearers from the North Continent have grown old and died… yet this knife has never dulled and has always been sharp.

“They’ve just been through a battle; they need soone to make a path. If I were twenty years younger, this great credit wouldn’t have been yours.” Osmond glanced at the various teams still engaged in a fierce struggle, gently lanting: “Being young is good… you really got lucky.”

Lin Lin didn’t speak, only grasped the long knife.

The “Old Fellow” issued a “click” sound, perfectly clicking into hand!

It was as if a voice echoed in his heart.

“Draw the knife!”

Osmond spoke in a low voice, and Lin Lin swung his knife at the sa mont.

This strike cleaved toward the densest part of the blood mist in the Black River, the gathering place of bone-winged creatures. They resisted the intense shockwave, willing to sacrifice their lives to press the North Continent Transcendents to the bottom of the Nether River, to erode them completely…

“Boom!”

In the next instant, where the blade pointed, the void collapsed, and flesh flew everywhere! It was as if it were bombarded by artillery!

The captains engaged in the battle were startled.

They thought the main boat had fired again!

Lin Lin, holding the knife, had his pupils contract; even he hadn’t expected this strike to unleash such terrifying power!

Hundreds of bone-winged creatures burst apart directly when encountering the blade arc!

This strike indeed equaled a main boat artillery shot!

But the only drawback… was it massively consud spiritual power and stamina. Osmond was too old, and the number of tis he could swing the knife was limited. However, it was different for him; Lin Lin’s eyes grew determined. He held his breath and shot forward along the descending iron hull of the main boat, slicing through the water, causing the ripples of the Duolu River to explode once more. With his power alone, he broke through the countless bone-winged creatures blocking the exit—

The other captains saw this and followed suit.

For a mont, the tens of thousands of bone-winged creatures blocking the Nether River were torn open!

Osmond didn’t move. After hurling the knife, he hovered over the spot where the main boat fell, silently watching above the Nether River, that single eye pierced through the dark tide of blood, staring at those few unusual “intelligent creatures.”
