Nathan Foster had called Vincent in advance, so by the ti he arrived, Vincent was already waiting outside the hospital.
South Grant was still as cold as ice, and as Nathan Foster restrained her limbs and carried her down, South Grant’s gaze seed as if she wanted to kill him.
Vincent led them upstairs. Without harming South Grant, he had his assistant help tie her to a chair.
Standing outside the door, Vincent glanced at South Grant, then frowned and asked Nathan Foster:
"Lynn, under what circumstances did she appear?"
"When I was about to get into a fight with soone else," Nathan Foster replied in a low voice.
"A man?"
"Yes."
"What kind of situation was it? I need to know more about it."
Nathan Foster roughly explained the situation from that ti.
Vincent had a look on his face as if saying, "I’m just watching you turn green with jealousy," appearing slightly schadenfreude.
Nathan Foster’s face darkened as he spoke further.
Realizing the seriousness of the situation, Vincent cleared his throat, then took on the professionalism of a doctor, speaking earnestly:
"Based on my analysis, when Chester Lynch posed a threat to her, this alternate personality of hers didn’t erge. However, when you attacked Chester Lynch, it did, which indicates one thing."
Vincent paused here, casting a sidelong glance at Nathan Foster, as if making him curious on purpose.
"If your hospital wants to operate normally in Aethelgard, you’d better finish your sentence," Nathan Foster shot him a sidelong glance.
Vincent pouted, "What this ans is that her alternate personality is defending Chester Lynch. Her fury and danger are directed solely at you. Think carefully, have you ever had any interaction with South? I’m going in to take a look at her."
Vincent then went inside, leaving Nathan Foster outside, frowning deeply.
Putting aside his gossiping nature, Nathan Foster still trusted Vincent’s level of professionalism.
What he ant was that the ergence of South Grant’s alternate personality was related to him.
And it was still protecting Chester Lynch.
Just then, a commotion erged from inside, followed by Vincent’s cry of pain.
Nathan Foster pushed open the door and went inside, only to see South Grant clutching Vincent’s neck, Vincent’s face turning red from lack of air, completely immobilized.
Nathan Foster’s eyes turned cold. As he approached them, South Grant released Vincent and then continued attacking Nathan Foster.
Vincent lay on the ground, coughing violently, clutching his chest and gasping for air.
"Oh my God, that was terrifying, scared the life out of !"
Seeing the struggle between the two, he rolled and crawled out of the room, unable to help but look back to remind Nathan Foster as he reached the door.
"I just tested, her alternate personality has been around for at least ten years..."
At this point, he saw South Grant’s icy gaze turning towards him, and Vincent shuddered and ran away.
Nathan Foster was able to subdue her the first ti, so he could do it a second ti.
When he had her trapped between him and the wall, he stared at her.
Ten years?
Ten years ago, she was a bit over seven, and he was only fifteen—he’d had no contact with her at all.
Why did she harbor such hatred toward him, as if she wanted to kill him out of spite?
Nathan Foster looked at South Grant, his brows furrowed deeply, and he asked in a heavy tone:
"What on earth are you hiding?"
"Nathan Foster, you deserve to die!" South Grant’s cold and heartless lips uttered these six words.
At that mont, Nathan Foster observed how she treated him completely differently than Chester Lynch, especially now as she slightly raised her head, revealing the marks on her neck under the light.
Nathan Foster’s gaze darkened as he leaned in to kiss her neck, his lips covering a love bite.
He sucked heavily, rubbed hard, continuing to bite at that spot.
As if trying to erase any traces left by others.
Hearing South Grant sharply inhale in pain, Nathan Foster lifted his head, a hint of a wicked smile on his lips.
"If you want to kill , let’s see if you have the ability!"
Saying this, he lowered his head to capture her lips, continuing the previous treatnt despite her angry glare.
(Aside: A tiny spoiler, the ergence of the alternate personality wasn’t caused by the uncle, so let’s not put the bla on him. However, it is sowhat related to the uncle. I won’t spoil any further; think about what happened ten years ago in the past life. Edd believes you are clever, dear readers~)
