Chester Lynch looked at South Grant with a dazed expression, and asked her again, his voice both affectionate and grave.
"Is that so?"
South Grant looked at Chester Lynch, her heart filled with conflict.
If she followed her true feelings, South Grant had a better impression of Chester Lynch, after all, he was her first love in a past life.
Plus, what he did for her the night before last left a deep impression on South Grant’s heart.
But South Grant understood her current situation.
She had yet to avenge her great grudge, and the people in The Grant Family were enough to give her a headache, not to ntion Nathan Foster.
Nathan Foster, that jealous, perverted, explosive dog, if he knew there was sothing between her and Chester Lynch, wouldn’t he swallow her whole, leaving not even a bone?
So for her own safety, any notion of first love or sentint had to be set aside.
Now the only thing she could do was to take action herself, ruthlessly crush the flowers, or else Nathan Foster would ruthlessly crush her.
"Well... I feel guilty for getting you involved, of course, I’d want to find you as soon as possible."
Chester Lynch saw her finding various excuses and did not intend to let her go, so he continued to ask:
"Then last ti during the spring outing, you sneaked a kiss on at my family’s estate while I was drunk, what was that about?"
South Grant: "..."

Young and ignorant back then, now being pressed by Chester Lynch, South Grant could only brace herself and say
"Don’t listen to Felicity Grant’s nonsense, nothing like that happened."

He stared at South Grant, unblinking:
"I personally checked the estate, the surveillance footage is still there, that night you did indeed kiss while I was asleep."
South Grant now had nothing to say.
She rembered that night vividly because it was the first ti she got so close to a boy she liked.
But now, being told so earnestly by Chester Lynch, South Grant just felt her ears burning.
Just as South Grant didn’t know how to respond, Chester Lynch suddenly pulled her over, pushing her into a corner of the equipnt room.
South Grant was about to cry out when Chester Lynch’s hand covered her mouth, then Chester Lynch squeezed into that corner too.
South Grant widened her eyes, wondering what Chester Lynch wanted to do.
Just as she was about to push Chester Lynch away, she saw Chester Lynch press a finger to his lips, hushing her, signaling her to be quiet.
At this mont, they heard the equipnt room door being opened again. South Grant, in the far corner, couldn’t see the situation outside at all.
"Director, don’t do this, let’s go to the hotel after school, soone might co anyti, it would be terrible if we got caught."
"Who would co, there’s no PE class during the first period in the morning, and today I checked the schedule, no class in the whole school has PE, no one will co to the equipnt room."
Trapped in the corner, they heard these two voices, both sounding familiar.
They didn’t recognize Lee’s voice, but the man’s voice took South Grant a while to rember.
It was the school official who had her take the bla for everyone at the police station, now serving as the school director.
Rembering his visage of snobbishness then, South Grant felt disgust rising from the bottom of her heart.
Originally, she just thought he had a character problem, she didn’t expect his life to be such a ss, involved with a female teacher in school.
