Nathan Foster’s eyes were as calm as the sea at this mont, filled with a tranquil and vast emotion that seed to encompass all of South Grant.
Harold Foster then stood up from the sofa, supported by Butler Keller.
"Fiona, you are simply being ridiculous!"
Harold Foster could see the agitation in South Grant’s emotions, presumably after being falsely accused and splattered with dirt, discovering that the person was actually his sister, leaving his grievances nowhere to vent.
Fiona Grant was also extrely aggrieved at this mont, as she clearly saw and heard with her own eyes and ears.
Now South Grant had sohow made that man disappear.
Now everyone doubted her and sided with South Grant, and Fiona Grant bit her lower lip, almost crying in anxiety.
"Grandfather, you have to believe , I clearly..."
Just as Fiona Grant was about to cry out her grievances, she was interrupted by The Grim King beside her, in a deep voice:
"From top to bottom in the Foster Family, whether it’s the guards or the servants, they must adhere to my military rules in their actions and speech.
And my first rule in training soldiers, the most important one, is to forbid infighting! Once there’s discord or slander among the team, they’ll be treated as spies and infiltrators.
Fiona Grant, after all, you are a child of The Grant Family, and we at the Foster Family have no right to interfere with you, nor to judge your character and actions.
However, there is one thing I can decide, and that is to ask you to leave the Foster Family, for our temple is too small to accommodate soone like you."
Nathan Foster spoke in a voice that was extrely calm, yet the gentle but powerful tone left no room for doubt.
He earned his military accolades at a young age, and with the background of the Foster Family, he quickly rose to a high position.
Years of being in high positions had fostered an aura that others did not possess.
When speaking to Fiona Grant in this way, she didn’t even have the ability to rebut, and forgot her grievances and cries, just staring at Nathan Foster in a daze.
Fiona Grant still wanted to plead, but when she saw the look of disappointnt on Harold Foster’s face, her heart sank to the bottom.
She knew South Grant was not soone who valued the past, and he would certainly seize this opportunity to drive her out of the Foster Family, so she wouldn’t be a nuisance to him.
"Grandfather, I know I was wrong..." Fiona could only lower herself, hoping to win Harold Foster’s sympathy and pity.
"Fiona, you don’t know your place, grandfather doesn’t understand why you would falsely accuse your own brother. Is it really for so shares in The Grant Family? You have really disappointed grandfather." Harold Foster shook his head in disappointnt.
Fiona Grant was about to cry in anger at this mont, but she knew she had fallen into South Grant’s trap and was set up by her.
"Grandfather, I was mistaken, I really didn’t an to fra my brother, you have to believe ."
As people age, they inevitably beco a bit more soft-hearted.
Nathan Foster knew Harold Foster felt indebted to Stella Foster, and if Fiona Grant continued to plead like this, Harold Foster might forgive her for Stella’s sake, so before that, Nathan Foster said:
"Mr. Keller, please take my father back to rest. He just had surgery and the doctor said he needs a year’s recuperation. In the future, unless necessary, keep all unrelated people from disturbing him."
After Nathan Foster finished speaking, he then looked at Fiona Grant, his voice calm and expressionless, as if even speaking to her was a waste of emotion.
"Tomorrow morning, I will have the maid pack your things. You can return to The Grant Family."
Fiona Grant thought, if she left the Foster Family and returned to The Grant Family, she’d very likely face a situation even more terrifying than before.
The Grant Family would assu she was kicked out by the Foster Family!
