South Grant, with a strong desire to survive, imdiately called Nathan Foster, but Nathan wouldn’t pick up.
Oh my God, I’ve stirred up a hornet’s nest!
South Grant called twice more, but Nathan still didn’t answer.
Now South was like soone who had pissed off his girlfriend and wanted to make it up but didn’t know how to start.
The key issue was that he wasn’t picking up the phone!
Isn’t not answering the phone a trick commonly used by won?
Now that Nathan wasn’t answering his calls, South had already automatically assud the role of the girlfriend.
No answer? Then bombard him with WeChat ssages.
South took out his phone and kept sending ssages to Nathan.
"I said I crushed Marcus Shaw’s egg, not that I slept with him!"
"Bla the input thod, you have to believe , I’m innocent!"
"If you don’t believe , co back tonight and I’ll take my clothes off for a check."
"I told you yesterday, you’re a pearl in my eyes, and others are just pigs. Why would I have such bad taste to sleep with a pig?"
"Sweetheart, baby, can’t you just reply? Or at least pick up the phone?"
South had said a ton of sweet words, but there was no response from the other side. Calling again, still no answer.
South rubbed his aching head when Didi, who lived in the front, saw South getting all anxious and asked:
"Young Master South, do you have sothing going on?"
Feeling desperate, South asked Didi, "What do you do if soone is mad at you and won’t answer the phone to make it better?"
Didi was a bit taken aback, then asked South, "Who is this person you’re referring to, Young Master South?"
South hesitated, definitely couldn’t admit it was Nathan Foster.
After all, Dodo and Didi were Nathan’s subordinates. It wouldn’t be good for them to know this side of Nathan being a bit petulant; otherwise, how would he manage them later?
So, South hedged by saying:
"Girlfriend."
Didi, while driving, was slightly surprised. They were close protectors of South Grant, so of course, they knew the nuanced relationship between South Grant and Nathan Foster.
They originally thought South had a bent orientation, and upon hearing him talk about a girlfriend, realized South could actually be straight!
Didi’s mind suddenly conjured an image of him switching back and forth between being bent and straight.
Ahem, the image was slightly eye-popping.
Looking at South Grant in the rear-view mirror, Didi saw his expectant eyes, waiting for his response, then after a mont of silence said:
"When a girlfriend is upset, you don’t need to say anything. Won are unreasonable creatures; the more you argue, the more they go at it. Just pin her on the bed and sort her out, and if she’s still mad, do it again until she says no more."
South Grant: "..."
Is this how all of Nathan Foster’s subordinates are?
Seeing South Grant seriously listening to his words, Didi continued even more enthusiastically:
"Girlfriends are creatures that say one thing and an another. If the relationship is good, there’s nothing a round of ’howork’ can’t solve, and if one round isn’t enough, do more rounds."
Do more rounds...
South Grant almost imagined if he really went to do the ’howork’, no matter how many rounds, Nathan Foster wouldn’t say no. Instead, he’d fight harder, more spirited than ever...
"Isn’t there another way? My girlfriend is quite reserved and doesn’t like such bold thods."
