South Grant’s hair was soaked, and since it was a wig, it felt uncomfortable against her body at this mont.
She then reached behind her neck to unfasten the button of the wig, took it off, shook her head, and revealed a refreshing short haircut.
Nathan Foster turned around just in ti to see South Grant’s hair-flipping motion. On such a rainy night, under such lighting, it appeared like a beautiful painting, leaving Nathan a bit dazed.
South Grant wasn’t wrong when she said that whether she had long hair or short, wearing a skirt or jeans, she was the most dazzling one in a crowd.
South Grant patted her clothes, tidied herself up, then looked up to see Nathan staring dumbfoundedly at her, and suddenly gave him a flirty wink, teasing him:

"Do you know what you are?" Nathan’s lips curved into a smile.
"What belle?" South Grant’s face blushed slightly, thinking Nathan must be about to praise her as the queen of belles.
"Wave belle." Nathan said these two words with a slight curl of his lips.
South Grant: "..."

Wave... belle...

South Grant was so furious she wouldn’t speak to him anymore. He always dug a pit for her to jump into herself.
After such a line of questioning, she thought he was going to praise her, but he ended up calling her a "wave belle"!

Nathan watched her turn away angrily, chuckling lowly, and then reached out to hold South Grant’s shoulders, turning her back to face him.

South Grant slightly raised her head to et Nathan’s gaze, feeling a tightness in her throat.
Why did Nathan seem so indescribably alluring at this mont?

South Grant wasn’t sure, she just felt her heart was pounding wildly.
She had to admit, Nathan’s sweet words were way too captivating. Why had he been so stingy with words in their past life?

Nathan slowly lowered his head, and before South Grant could react, his lips gently touched hers.
