Fiona Grant kept staring, wanting to see what the girl looked like. She must be extrely beautiful and charming; otherwise, why would Nathan Foster be so concerned?
Then, Fiona watched them part ways. The girl seed very shy, keeping her head down the whole ti.
At this mont, Nathan reached out and pulled her into his arms. For so reason, Fiona looked at the figure and felt it was extraordinarily familiar. Could it be that this girl was soone she knew?
The more she couldn’t see, the more curious Fiona beca. The driver urged Fiona at this mont:
"Are you leaving or not? It’s raining, and I’m anxious to get ho."
"Driver, wait a mont. I’ll pay you extra," Fiona reassured the driver.
Upon hearing Fiona talk about extra pay, the driver finally relented.
Fiona was still waiting for the girl in Nathan Foster’s arms to show her full face, but Nathan’s tall figure continuously blocked the girl.
Just then, Nathan turned around and looked in this direction. Fiona felt guilty, thinking he had seen her. She quickly leaned back to avoid being spotted.
Then she recalled that it’s nightti and it’s raining so heavily. She was inside the car, and Nathan couldn’t possibly see her.
After figuring it out, Fiona looked out of the car window again and saw a car stopped in front of Nathan. It was the military vehicle he usually rode in; it seed they were waiting for their driver to pick them up.
Opening the door was Ivan Keller. At this mont, Ivan handed the umbrella he was holding to Nathan Foster, who opened it and held it over the girl’s head.
Under the umbrella, the girl was fully sheltered, while Nathan’s entire back was in the rain.
The more Fiona wanted to see what the girl looked like, the more she couldn’t see her.
For a mont, the girl was covered by the umbrella, and Fiona couldn’t see her face. Then she saw the girl bend down and get into the car, with Nathan following closely behind.
Fiona angrily stomped her foot. In the end, she still hadn’t seen what the girl looked like.
Then Nathan’s car drove away, and Fiona was puzzled. Who exactly was that girl?
Why does she feel so familiar? She must know her, so she had to figure out who this person was.
At this point, Fiona told the driver, "Driver, follow that car in front."
The driver looked up and saw that it was a military Humr in front, with a white background and red lettering clearly displayed. Aside from anything else, even just the license plate indicated people not to ss with.
Now this little girl was telling him to follow that car; the driver quickly shook his head, waved his hands, and said:
"Little girl, this task I can’t take. Our car is no match for that one, and if we follow from a distance, we’ll lose them. If we get too close, we will be discovered. By then, if the soldiers are annoyed, I’ll end up in serious trouble."
No matter what, the driver refused to chase after them, and Fiona had no choice but to glance at the car ahead and let the driver take her back to The Grant Family.
While sitting in the car, South Grant sneezed, and Nathan Foster said to Ivan Keller, who was driving in front:
"Turn off the air conditioning."
Ivan stretched his hand and turned off the air conditioner, glancing at Nathan, who turned sideways and worriedly asked South Grant, "Did you catch a cold from the rain just now?"
