Nathan Foster drove all the way from the military district, and once he placed South Grant in the backseat, he sped off quickly.
South Grant was taken to the military hospital, where the doctor conducted a full-body examination and ensured that South Grant was properly settled before coming out to report to Nathan Foster.
"Commander Foster, there’s no need to worry. The patient is just on her nstrual cycle, no injuries to the lower body, only so external injuries. Her right hand was broken but has been set, and the superficial wounds are already treated."
When Nathan Foster heard the doctor ntion the nstrual cycle, he frowned.
So much blood on her body was because of her nstrual cycle?
Seeing Nathan Foster’s expression, the doctor couldn’t help but feel uneasy.

Upon hearing Nathan Foster’s response, the doctor felt as though a great weight had been lifted.
Nathan Foster went into the ward where South Grant was. He stood by the bedside, looking down at her.
Her face was pale, perhaps due to losing too much blood, that it seed almost transparent.
The narrow slits of her eyes used to hide the slyness often seen in them.
Looking at her now, Nathan Foster wondered how she managed to deceive so many people.
From the first glance at her in that bar, Nathan Foster never saw her as a boy.
If it weren’t for her actions of undressing later, Nathan Foster wouldn’t have been misled by her.
At this mont, South Grant slowly opened her eyes, and upon seeing Nathan Foster standing by the bedside, she was a bit confused about whether it was past or present.
She thought it was a mont from a past life.
"Nathan Foster, you’re late; the child is gone." South Grant’s voice was weak, almost like a dream-talk.
However, Nathan Foster had a keen sense of hearing, and despite her soft voice, he heard it.
"What?" Nathan Foster did not understand.
As Nathan Foster’s voice sounded, South Grant regained so clarity amidst her confusion.
"Nothing, just had a dream." South Grant deflected.
Worried that he would keep asking, she heard soone gently knocking at the door.
"Co in."
Then Ivan Keller entered. Seeing that South Grant was awake, he glanced at Nathan Foster with a look that suggested he had sothing to say.
"Speak." Nathan Foster had sent Ivan Keller to the police station to watch over the investigation results. Now that he’s back, he must have the results.
Ivan Keller glanced at South Grant, and since the commander told him to speak, he did.
"The police station’s conclusion is that those two were hired by Captain Lawson. After his shift tonight, a stranger called him, gave him ten thousand dollars in cash, and asked him to harm Young Master...Miss Grant..." Ivan Keller paused, unsure of his words.
"Continue." South Grant asked in a deep voice.
"The person told Captain Liu that you were a girl, gave him ten thousand in cash, and asked him to arrange soone to harm your body, saying that The Grant Family won’t pursue the matter and that because you hid your identity, they would ignore you. So, Captain Liu dared to take the risk. He even planned an excuse, saying you intentionally enticed the officers to gain freedom, but ended up being taken advantage of by two escaped convicts disguised as officers."
As Ivan Keller finished speaking, South Grant’s face turned icy.
There were only four people in the world who knew that she was a girl.
Shawn Grant, Fiona Grant, Nathan Foster, Ivan Keller!
The only one who could produce ten thousand and say The Grant Family would ignore her, was only one person!
