South Grant felt his whole body aching when he got to school.
The bones in his body felt like they’d been dismantled and reassembled; there wasn’t a single spot that wasn’t in pain.
Nathan Foster is such a beast!
South Grant barely slept last night, and upon reaching school, couldn’t help but succumb to his fatigue, sprawling across the desk for a deep sleep.
South Grant was in the last row because of his lack of outstanding performance and was not given much attention by the teachers.
Hence, South Grant slept like that until school was over.
In his sleep, South Grant felt as if sothing was watching him.
She suddenly woke up.
Then, she saw Chester Lynch standing right in front of her desk.
All the other students in the class had left by then, and South Grant noticed that it was midday when she glanced outside.
She had slept through the morning.
"Didn’t you sleep well last night?" Chester Lynch looked at her.
"Not at all." South Grant stood up, stretching her sowhat numb limbs.
"Do you have ti at midday? I’ve been wanting to take the chance to properly thank you for last ti’s incident," Chester Lynch said, looking at South Grant’s left arm.
"No need to be formal, I was just doing my part for the school’s glory," South Grant had no intention of accepting the invitation.
"If it weren’t for my invitation, your arm wouldn’t have been hurt," Chester Lynch was still dwelling on the matter.
"It has nothing to do with you," South Grant said; this matter really had nothing to do with Chester Lynch, Shawn Grant would have found an opportunity to harm her anyway.
"When it cos down to it, it was because of ," Chester Lynch felt deeply guilty.
South Grant looked at Chester Lynch and helplessly pursed her lips.
From what South Grant knew, Chester Lynch was very stubborn.
If he was fixated on sothing, he would rember it all the ti.
He had been blaming himself for that incident and if he wasn’t allowed to express his gratitude, he would probably keep brooding over it.
"Alright then, I rember there’s a buffet near the west gate, let’s go there," South Grant just wanted to grab a quick bite and continue sleeping.
Chester Lynch didn’t object, and the two walked out together.
When they reached the school gate, South Grant saw the familiar car at the entrance and paused, stunned.
South Grant hid behind Chester Lynch, trying to avoid being noticed by the people in the car.
Then, the car door opened, and Nathan Foster got out.
He stood in front of the car in a crisp military uniform, as if imposing and immovable like a mountain.
South Grant originally thought it was Ivan Keller, but didn’t expect Nathan Foster to co personally.
While South Grant was hiding from him, Nathan Foster walked towards Chester Lynch and South Grant.
"Mr. Foster," Chester Lynch greeted Nathan Foster.
The Lynch Family and The Foster Family had long-standing ties, and Nathan Foster was his elder.
"Chester, South should go to the hospital today to change the dressing," Nathan Foster said, then turned to South Grant, "Get in the car."
When Nathan Foster’s gaze fell upon her, South Grant felt a chill on her scalp.
She could still vividly recall the scene from this morning.
Nathan Foster was lying on top of her, positioned between her legs while their lips were locked.
It was absolutely eye-searing!
"I... I’ll go after school this afternoon, I’ve already made plans with Chester," South Grant naturally used Chester Lynch as her shield.
"Fine, if you go tonight, the doctor might have to break and reset it," Nathan Foster gave her a sidelong glance, his tone not at all sounding like a joke.
