"You’re rebelling! If I can’t deal with a small employee like you, then I’m not Shawn Grant!"
Shawn Grant was infuriated by his words, feeling that his authority was being challenged.
At this mont, Miles Grant and his secretary descended from the top floor via a private elevator, just witnessing this dramatic scene in the lobby.
The secretary saw her sister being hit by Shawn Grant and hurried over to intervene.
Miles Grant approached, seeing Shawn Grant causing a scene, and said sternly:
"Third Brother, what nonsense are you up to here!"
Shawn Grant had the intention to sow discord between South Grant and Miles Grant, so he deliberately pointed at the receptionist and said:
"This woman is disrespectful to our Grant Family, and I’m going to fire her right now!"
Miles Grant didn’t take Shawn Grant seriously, besides, Shawn Grant had no authority over personnel decisions at the headquarters.
So upon hearing Shawn Grant’s words, Miles Grant snorted disdainfully.
"Is the company yours? You think you can fire whoever you want? I personally arranged for her. If you have any complaints about her, you’re essentially complaining about ."
Shawn Grant was waiting for Miles Grant’s response.
"Second Brother, are you saying that all of this woman’s actions and words were at your command?"
"Exactly." Miles Grant was dismissive of Shawn Grant.
Shawn Grant then turned to South Grant.
"South, did you hear that? Your inability to enter the company was all orchestrated by Second Brother, which is why no one sees you, the Grant Family’s eldest son, as important."
Only then did Miles Grant realize, following Shawn Grant’s gaze, that South Grant was sitting on a sofa in the lobby, watching this lively scene.
"South, why are you here? Why didn’t you call your Second Uncle?"
South Grant looked at Miles Grant, slightly lifted the corner of his mouth, and said:
"I didn’t expect it to be so difficult to see Second Uncle. I told the receptionist several tis that I am South Grant and wanted to et Second Uncle. But she insisted that I make an appointnt. I ca to deliver the shares transfer letter, but this woman wouldn’t let et you. Since I didn’t see you, Third Uncle happened to co down from upstairs, so I gave the transfer letter to him."
"What!" Miles Grant’s eyes widened in disbelief at South Grant, "You gave all the shares to Shawn Grant?"
"I thought Second Uncle you didn’t need them anymore." South Grant said calmly.
Miles Grant was so furious his eyes were about to pop out.
Shawn Grant, at this mont, looked extrely pleased, straightening his clothes and standing proudly before the crowd.
"From now on, I’m the new chairman of Grant Group. Now I have the authority to make personnel changes and arrangents, don’t I, Second Brother?"
When Shawn Grant called him Second Brother, he wore the smile of a victor, the provocation in his eyes was obvious.
"Chairman, my sister..." Miles Grant’s secretary ca over, intending to plead for her sister.
But Miles Grant was in a fit of anger, raised his hand, and slapped the secretary’s face.
Looking at the receptionist who was sitting and crying, he was even angrier.
If she hadn’t stopped South Grant from coming up, how could South Grant have impulsively given the shares to Shawn Grant?
Forget about slapping her, he now had the urge to kill her.
"Get out, get out now!"
