South Grant was truly exhausted lately, embraced by Nathan Foster and carried to bed without waking up.
Nathan Foster went to shower, and coming out, he saw dinner was ready and called South Grant twice.
South Grant frowned, even in her sleep showing an impatient look.
Seeing her like this, Nathan Foster simply stopped calling her. After eating dinner alone, he sat at the desk, looking at the recruitnt targets for the next quarter.
Several tis he looked up to see South Grant still sleeping deeply, not waking up.
Nathan Foster checked the ti and thought he might as well give her a day off tonight to let her rest well.
South Grant slept straight through to the next morning, and since Nathan Foster regularly exercised in the morning, she woke up early.
After turning on the bedside lamp, he saw South Grant still sleeping.
Thinking she had slept long enough.
This ti in the morning is the golden ti for mories.
Nathan Foster called South Grant, and she groggily opened her eyes, then closed them again.
"It’s Saturday."
Nathan Foster heard her mumble, then sternly said, "There’s not much ti left until your college entrance exams. With your current grades, there’s no such thing as Saturday."
At this point, South Grant picked up a pillow to cover her head, blocking out Nathan Foster’s voice, and a muffled sound ca from under the pillow.
"I just did a fortune-telling for myself; today I’m short on sleep in my Five Elents and have to sleep enough to balance it."
"..." Nathan Foster looked at the strange excuse South Grant made up for sleeping, reached out to take away the pillow from her head, then dragged her up from the bed.
"I think you’re short on a beating today!"
Unwillingly, South Grant was pulled up by him. It was just getting light outside. She stretched, yawned, and went to the bathroom to freshen up.
Nathan Foster had found all the knowledge points she needed to morize this morning, except he underestimated South Grant’s mory.
She naturally had an extraordinary mory. In her previous life, she just didn’t study diligently, but she never forgot anything she read. So the things Nathan Foster wanted her to morize were sothing South Grant learned effortlessly.
"With just this little bit, it’s not even enough to fill my gaps." South Grant tossed the book onto the table.
Then she leaned back on the sofa, her long legs stretched onto the coffee table in front of the sofa, leisurely shaking them back and forth.
Nathan Foster looked at South Grant’s relaxed deanor, thinking he should teach her in another way.
His study skills and mory were much better than he initially thought.
Originally, Nathan Foster planned for her to recite in the room while he went for his morning exercise.
Now that she had learned it, when Nathan Foster went out, he took her with him.
South Grant initially wanted to go back to sleep, but Nathan Foster dragged her out.
"To study, you need a good body. For the next month, you’ll wake up to exercise with every morning."
South Grant pointed to her arm, "My arm is still hurt."
"You run with your legs, not your hands."
Seeing Nathan Foster not intending to let her go, South Grant couldn’t help but sarcastically say:
"If I were your soldier, you could drill , but now I’m not, so if you want to run, run on your own."
Nathan Foster cast a sidelong glance at her, "You’re my night-ti soldier; you can drop the word ’drill’ from your sentence."
"???" What’s that supposed to an? South Grant was a bit confused by his remark.
(South said: You can drill . And then Foster said: Drop the word "drill"... As for the innuendo, you can interpret it yourselves.)
